“Promised same day dispatch on in stock item ordered late afternoon. Helpline couldn't explain why it wasn't picked until 11am the next day. Items are priced including vat on the web page. P&P is quoted less vat and is rather expensive for a small item.”

“As a regular user of Rapid for the past 5 years, I am very pleased with the reliability on delivery and the range of products available. The educational pricing is rarely beaten for the range of components I use. Recently a rare and minor hiccup with part of a delivery was sorted quickly with no question or fuss as soon as it was notified to Rapid.”

“Service generally fast and encourages MERG to continue to source most of our components from Rapid through approximately 20 proxy Kit Producers. There have been questions over Rapid's business model and how it seems to lack regard for customers who use components offered when Rapid unilaterally decides to discontinue items. Add that to puzzlement over Rapid's wish that we only buy in the same MOQ as they get from their source for items that they want to discontinue...for that reason MERG now buys all its power supplies direct from PowerpaxUK thus eliminating the considerable markup added by Rapid. We are not complaining, of course, but surely that deprives Rapid of business?”

“I can't remember what day it was but I ordered my components at 5 PM and received them the next day at 10am. Now that is a Rapid service.”

“Service was good however the items I purchased were a waste because the data sheet was poor and did not describe the operation of the component correctly. When tested the component did not work as I understood from the information and was of no use to me. Information from manufacturers web site very poor.”

“I have been a Rapid customer for many years. Service has been first class . Everyone has been very courteous and helpful . One point I noticed recently on trying to contct you on a Saturday morning. the answerphone at your end said you were very busy and I was in a queue, after about ten minutes the line suddenly went dead. I was cut off. If you do not now accept sales caslls on Saturdays it would be useful to mention when you are open on the answerphone.”
