“Clear website and easy purchasing system. Amazed at speed of delivery - they were nearly dispatched before I hit the button!! Liked the price on the folders too. Needed for horticultural courses so mucky hands all round, hence reason for strong plastic covers. Will be using Rapid in the future.”

“I purchased an Arduino Due, the GENUINE article not a clone. I enquired if the one they were selling was 'real' and had a very helpful email that the chap at the firm had been to the warehouse to check that it was boxed with the data sheet and the Arduino stickers (which you don't get with a clone - the PCB is darker blue and in an anti-static bag only). Most helpful and would certainly use again. Quick despatch, smooth checkout process and efficient staff”

“Excellent delivery speed, but unfortunately the items purchased we slightly damaged, despite being excellently packed - which seems to suggest it was the product rather than Rapid at fault. However, I'd still recommend Rapid, as previous orders have been of an excellent quality”

“I ordered a new Magna Switch Unit, Heating Elements, and Solder Bits for my TCP Iron. On receipt I find that the new Solder Bits do not fit the Heating Element just received nor does the Barrel I have. On querying this, I find that Weller have changed the diameter of the Heating Element, but there is no mention of this in any of the details for the products. I am then informed that the only way round this is to order a new Barrel and New Solder Bits to Fit. This now makes what was an expensive repair, even more expensive; particularly as I am having to pay twice for the Solder Bits. I have decided that in the long run it is going to be cheaper to just buy cheap soldering irons instead of trying to maintain a very expensive system, and scrap the Weller altogether. Just a pity that no one at that end processing the Order picked up on the fact that the bits ordered would not fit the other parts ordered at the same time, namely the Heating Element. Obviously the staff processing these orders have no Product Knowledge. To them they are just code numbers.”

“Web page is very easy to use and find what you want. Ordering the items is easy, and I like the safe 'name' basket function for different tasks. Delivery is very prompt. Queries desk has been polite and informative. And the items are generally cheaper than competitors. Rapid is becoming my favourite site.”
