“Generally excellent, although i'm saying "good" rather than "very good" because one item that said it was in stock turned out not to be and arrived several days later (but still within a week from ordering so maybe i'm being too picky! :) Generally very happy even though i'm a really minor hobbyist customer everything was really smooth and i felt i was treated in a very professional way.”

“Delivery was on time and in one case well within the time specified. However a bit disappointed with the quality of the product which is no reflection on Rapid Electronics as they are stockists. I could not find the right link to comment on the RAACO tool box purchased.”

“Clear website. Product arrived after some problems with the carrier Hermes. I have had problems with Hermes before. On this occasion their driver left two "Sorry I missed " notes which were blank though there are many fields on the card, including a contact point, which could have been completed ( I was away for the weekend). If you provided the tracking number from them (I have destroyed all the Emails so I cannot check) then it is possible to find you parcel but DPD are much better. All the lights function, however, the retaining rings on the front of 3 of the lights were cracked, which for me is not a problem as the lights are on a high ceiling but would be if mounted lower down. “Slightly falling behind the competitors like Farnell and RS on a few points now. Their prices are still pretty good, but the website search engine is poor and shipping is relatively slow. Since the Conrad takeover a lot of the parts are now not available from stock and have a significant waiting time. Compare this to Farnell who can ship next day from either of their European warehouses and carry a much wider range of parts.”

“Rapid had the best price for what I was buying, though I wasn't sure at first whether the price was per item or per card (the items were packaged two-per card). Other suppiers seemed to be offering a price per item. But I was able to sort that out quite easily by sending their sales team an email. They replied the same day. I ordered three cards, which would give me six items. However they then said they only had one card in stock and shipped it with the rest to follow. This first shipment arrived very quickly and the product worked well. I used the on-line chat feature to ask, and was assured that I wouldn't have to pay two lots of delivery charges. The PDF invoice they emailed me for the first shipment showed the full delivery charge, so I await the second shipment with interest. I expect it to show free delivery. Overall, I'm impressed with their price and responsiveness. Anyone can run out of stock!”

“UK stock - Good delivery time, but to wait for something that is marked as being held in a European Warehouse is a bit of a pain. Made even worse because they discontinued the UK stock of the same thing!”
