Unfortunately I did not open my parcel before 21 days had elapsed and found that only half my order had been sent. Customer Service were uninterested in the problem and most unhelpful as they had no obligation to fix the problem due to the length of time elapsed. Do not trust them to send what you have ordered. I have just received my order of 2 packs of twenty five plastic wallets from GLS and I received 2 packs of 25 plastic wallets NOT 2 packs of 12 as I did from Rapid electronics when I had ordered 2 packs of 24!

I had a hard time deciding on rating Rapid Electronics, mainly due in recent years it's take-over by Conrad or association in trading. Since this time, Rapid has become less efficient in obtaining items, in particular electronic components... and where items say available but, require 5 or more days to fore-fill the order, due stocked in the EU, Conrad I presume ! So these days I only place orders for items that are in stock within the UK-Rapid, and odd enclosures especially Hammond, where the holding range is at times, good. Regretfully; Rapid has become far less a useful company, and more a disappointing one.

On finding that an item listed as '3 in stock' was actually out of stock, the other items ordered were sent without it and the item placed on 'back order'. Upon receipt, I enquired and found delivery of the item within 7-10 days was not guaranteed, so enquired instead about what other options were available as a substitute, and a list of 'definitely in stock' suggestions was duly provided an hour or two later. I selected one and the substitute - which was entirely suitable for my purposes - was sent first class and arrived the next day. This was excellent work and could only be bettered by the dispatch staff flagging the error and e-mailing to offer the substitute themselves when the error was first noticed. {I do understand that 'logging error' happen with computer systems, and it's not always the store's people's fault, so these things can occur.] Sadly I had to wait until Monday for a customer representative to resolve my enquiry and so I lost a day, while the company lost postage. But my delay was not a problem as I order sufficiently in advance to cope with these problems. Your lost of postage is a balance you must make choices on. The quality of your products, as ever, remains as reliable as ever and that's one reason why I come back time and again. Well done for a no-nonsence response once the issue was raised and thanks for resolving it so quickly. Congratulations, I'm a "happy bunny". ;^D

Ordered parts, came quickly. Good prices. Still a bit fiddly to find parts on the website. I needed to do a search before the parametric tool came up, but maybe that was just me.

You need to provide credit terms based on other competitors terms provided to same client in order to get a part of orders migrated from competitior.

we are unable to change the addresses when ordering online, we need to be able to do this as we have more than one uk site, the goods are not always for the stoke office.

Excellent service all around. An easy to use website with accurate product descriptions and very competitive prices. I placed and order at 1pm and my order was delivered at 8.30am the following day. I will certainly be using Rapid Electronics again.
