“Hi Mark, I purchased a Ratio 6 and though very pleased with it, thought the carafe was a bit clunky. Our family takes our coffee very seriously so we decided to splurge on a Ratio 8. We think the 8 makes better coffee than the 6, which is still very good, and we feel the carafe is much nicer for pouring. But, the water reservoir on the Ratio 6 does not empty completely after brewing coffee and that is a problem. I don't like old water to collect in the machine. I've actually gone back to using the 6, which is a shame. Have any other customers had this problem? Could I exchange it. Or, what would you suggest? Thanks.”

“Look is nice, but I think overall function and design of the Ratio Six is a little impractical. Personally not a fan of how the brew basket has to remain on top of the carafe while brewing, whereas other SCA coffee brewers have a holder for the brew basket. This allows for a “stop flow” capability so in the event Coffee is needed to be poured immediately, the carafe can be removed mid-brew. I personally also think the overall size is a bit bulky and too many individual components. Still brews a great cup of coffee but I prefer the Moccamaster and would not purchase another Ratio”

“Great coffee! Ratio Six feels like a great quality build and i love the bloom feature! Only thing i’d like to point out is the power cord connector that sticks into the machine itself comes loose alot. I tried reaching out, but still did not get a response for a replacement.”

“Company made sure to get the new version of Coffee Machine Wash even with all of the shortages in industries. Their product lines are real focused and of good quality so I feel like I'm buying what the company really wants to sell.”

“The replacement carafe lid is no better than the original. I'm finding this entire system frustrating, the joints on the carafe also appear to leak or hold water after washing. For an over $300 coffee machine it sure seems cheap. Makes a good cup but not sure how long it will last.”

“Ratio Team as usual was helpful and courteous ! My carafe had arrived without the magnet plate and did not work It was promptly replaced and now all is great again in the coffee world !! Love my Ratio Coffee ☕️”

“High quality carafe. For some reason I thought it was double-walled and therefore insulated. But it's not fyi. I like having this option to my Ratio 6 carafe, and when I don't use it to make coffee I use it to fill the Ratio 6 water reservoir.”

“Very happy with this company. I reached out after submitting my purchase with some questions that I forgot to ask beforehand. Customer service gave me a very long and comprehensive response addressing all of my questions. They were quick to help me find a better product for my needs and cancel the previous order even though I would have spent more money if I had kept it.”
