“High quality carafe. For some reason I thought it was double-walled and therefore insulated. But it's not fyi. I like having this option to my Ratio 6 carafe, and when I don't use it to make coffee I use it to fill the Ratio 6 water reservoir.”

Customer service gave me a very long and comprehensive response addressing all of my questions. They were quick to help me find a better product for my needs and cancel the previous order even though I would have spent more money if I had kept it.”

“The cups have been terrific but the Ratio-6 I ordered along with the cups has been a complete disappointment due to carafe lid which makes a mess and splashes out when anything less than a 100% full carafe is poured. I would like to send the unit back but customer service (Sally) has not followed up with me post my initial email. Chris Semenuk”

“First of all the pot is made very well. Second I am not happy with it. First time I used the filter broke because the top part for the filter had no bottom. So I am using my white one ..I had to re filter my coffee. Please put a bottom in the filter holder.”

“It's a good quality machine. The extraction isn't as good as a pourover with a gooseneck and a kalita. My guess is that it's because the water passes thru the grounds too fast for a good extraction. But, it does produce coffe in 5 minutes, so I will continue to use it on most days. Overall I'm very happy with it.”

“Excellent coffee maker. I replaced the filter holder and refepticle w ratios thermos and "v60" cone to avoid plastic parts and looks Selling cone filters that are round and aren't the square chemex would be amazkng”

“I like the opening of the carafe on the ratio 6 for easier cleaning. The carafe on the ratio 6 keeps coffee hotter much longer than the ratio 8.”

“The carafe has a nice heft to it and keeps coffee warm for a bit but I was a little disappointed with the silicon lid. It feels like an after thought. If the lid had better insulation I think the coffee would stay warm for much longer than 90 minutes. I am aware of the specs provided so I knew what I was singing up for but, ya, the lid feels like it could have been designed better.”
