“I ordered the Ratio 6,Fellow ode 2 combo and I'm so happy I did.OnceI dialed in the grinder and the amount of coffee ( 42 grams) I've been getting great coffee every time.”

“The bottom of the carafe for my original Ratio 6 I purchased two years ago cracked and separated, and Ratio stepped up and provided a replacement one for a reasonable discounted price.”

“I did a lot of research before choosing the Ratio 6 but I do believe I made the correct choice. There are a lot of reviews that complain of the lid not being able to pour correctly or liquid getting stuck inside, but I feel I may have gotten the Ratio at a point where those issues have been addressed. Additionally, the heat shield does not touch the shower head in my unit so I don’t have the water splash back either. Overall the unit makes an amazing cup of coffee when paired with a good grinder to complement it. Overall, I have zero complaints so far and use the Ratio daily.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the Ratio Six, it makes excellent coffee. It’s easy to clean, easy to use, but really delivers some high quality coffee. One thing I would like are some more carafe options, and eventually more colors.”

“Like the product very much. Only issue has been the reusable filter. I don’t think it releases the filtered coffee fast enough. Seems to be significant back up of coffee resting in the filter as it slowly sifts thru the stainless filter delaying the first cup of coffee prep time. I have since shifted back to paper and will likely stay with that for foreseeable future. If you are willing to credit me for the filter I would certainly take it and be willing to ship the item back. Again, unless you have a better solution I’m going to stick with paper filters. Hope this make sense. Thanks Eric”

“Returned as the unit was too large for my countertop. Design was very handsome but the process was more involved than we prefer for an every-morning ritual. Orientation of plug is also limiting depending on how you plan to position the unit. It protrudes from the water reservoir end and is thus an eye sore if the device is observed laterally from popular kitchen vantage points. Coffee quality was good but we struggled with bitterness initially. Be advised, in the unlikely event you return the item, you will have to pay for return shipping. At 15 lbs, fully packed, this will not be cheap. It was an unfortunately expensive way to learn this coffee maker, despite its strong design quality, was not for us.”

“The Ratio company told me they are refining the Six’s carafe lid material and functionality, and recalibrating its tank’s measurements. With that said, this machine makes superior tasting, highly expressive coffee even compared to hand pouring— probably due to its heat shield. I highly recommend this beautiful SCA certified home brewer despite the minor imperfections. Buy it for $339 since the refined version will likely sell for more. I’m a Portland foodie who roasts his own coffee beans, so if you’re anything like me, you’ll love the Ratio Six.”
