“They all tasted really good. The shipping was quick. However, the only qualm I have is that it took a bit more than 48 hours for mine to thaw. I did the 3-day cleanse, and only got through 2-days bc my third day was still half frozen.”

Hi Belinda! Thank you for your feedback. For future reference, if your refrigerator is too cold and the bottles go in as a solid block of ice, they can take too long to thaw. If you notice this problem, a great way to thaw the bottles is to leave them on the counter for an hour or until halfway thawed (do not exceed 1 hour outside of refrigeration) and then transfer to the refrigerator overnight. Try not to put the bottles right next to each other, as this will make the time to thaw quite a bit longer. 😊

“I was very skeptical going into this - advertised as losing 8 pounds in 5 days! How is that possible? Well, I lost 10 pounds in 9 days. I really enjoyed the juice and the flavors. I'm not going to lie - I cheated every day during the 5 day period, but I was definitely eating less and slowly cutting down the late night junk food, my #1 weakness. It's also important to keep in mind that a combination of the juice cleanse and exercise produces the best result. Instead of eating late night snacks, I did 20 minutes of exercise. I'm doing 2nd round in a month. Highly recommended!”

“Love the product! Hate the excess of eco-hostile packaging -- styrofoam (the worst! my city banned it years ago in most uses) and single-use petroleum-based plastic. I realize it is important to keep products frozen, but suspect there are other options with a lower environmental footprint. And it's 100% possible to use biobased, commercially compostable plastic for bottles, so I hope RAW will seriously explore that. There is definitely some tension between treating our bodies as temples (the laudable RAW mission) and our planet as trash.”

HI Claudia. We understand your concerns and would like to address them! Other juice companies use preservatives or high-pressure processing, which gives their juices a long shelf life, but degrades or eliminates most of the nutritional value and taste. So while their juice may be in glass bottles, what’s inside is less nutritious. The only way to preserve all the nutrients and flavor in our juices is to flash freeze and ship them frozen. When a liquid is frozen, it expands, causing glass bottles to shatter. So we use plastic bottles instead. The styrofoam insulation in the boxes allows us to get you the products frozen and as fresh as possible. We would like to also let you know we are always researching and testing more sustainable measures, however, we have not yet found any other materials that allow us to get you the freshest, most delicious products to you safely as well as the materials that we currently use. Please rest assured we are always experimenting and searching for more sustainable ways to do this. Thanks!

“Great product and great customer service. I did mess up the thawing process and was sent a new batch with no issue. I would suggest to the company to clarify that the juices should go directly into the freezer until the instructions are read completely. This would save them a lot in replacement of products I would assume! I suggest a huge red warning sign “Put directly into freeze until 24 hrs before use!””

“It was delivered 1 day after I ordered it. It arrived frozen as described. I ended up drinking only 5 a day. It kept me full and tasted good. I would definitely order from them again.”

“we had tried the 3 protein cleanse before and decided to try to lower sugar detox 3 day cleanse. The flavors were good, we didn't feel hungry but we both felt very bloated, gassy and needed to be close to a bathroom. Not sure if we want to do this one again even though we signed up for repeat delivery.”

“Most of the juices tasted great. Particular fan of the Green Citrus and Celery-based. The nut-based mixes were grainy/chalky but this was quickly improved by the addition of a bit of water to thin it out. Great that the juices come frozen but it’s a bit hard to plan the thawing schedule seeing as they take quite a while to thaw and then need to be consumed within a short amount of that time. Regardless, the juices “worked”, helping me move some initial bloat and a few pounds.”

“I never got to sample the juices. We had to throw them away, because there was nothing keeping them cold. When they arrived, they were all warm. I contacted the company, but did not receive any sort of suitable explanation. Your company should account for travel to hotter locations.”

“Too much garbage what I mean by that is the bottles by the time I was done with my three day cleanse I had so many bottles and I was feeling bad about it. even though I recycle them. You know it's still a lot.”

Hi there! We understand your concerns and do apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, the only way to preserve all the nutrients and flavor in our juices without using any chemical preservatives or HPP (high-pressure pasteurization, which essentially cooks the juices to give them a longer shelf life) is to flash freeze and ship them frozen. When a liquid is frozen, it expands, causing glass bottles to shatter, so we must use plastic bottles instead. We are always researching and exploring more sustainable measures. “I really like this juice cleanse. It was my first one that I had really ever committed to and it was a little difficult at first because of my hunger cravings but I manage to get through with an apple or banana during the day as well and feel like I did lose a little bit of weight while also detoxify my body. It’s funny how towards the end of the cleanse? I was actually craving juices more than actual food which I think is a good thing lol. I am looking forward to trying another cleanse here soon.”
