“We very, very highly recommend Steve FitzMaurice. In a little over a month, he sold our house for more than the asking price, by pitting 2 potential buyers against each other. He is always prompt getting back to us, and keeping us updated. He sells an average of one house every week, whereas a typical agent sells only one house every 2 months. Remember, 20% of the agents do 80% of the real estate business. Look at all the top awards Steve earned. If you want to sell your house fast for top dollar, go with this real pro, who has a proven 5-star track record.”

“Stephen was just simply a fantastic realtor to work with in selling our home. If we had another 50 properties to sell, Stephen would be in charge of all of them. He was so professional in handling every detail of our sale, and he was so responsive to every question that came up in the course of our transaction. My wife and I are just very thankful that we found Stephen to handle the sale of our home. We wish ALL realtors were like him!”

“Stephen made the experience of selling my first house seamless. I live in another state but he kept me informed and moved the process along without a hitch. The only thing another agent could have done differently was charge a much higher commission. I only wish he was able help me purchase in my state. Highly recommend his service and business model.”

“I contacted Stephen based on a postcard I received at my house, coincidentally, I was considering selling my first home. I called him and told him I was in the early phase of selling, meaning I had done absolutely nothing, and he came over the next day. He came over at my earliest convenience and gave me recommendations of what to improve to get the best price for my house at the earliest timeline. He told me that I was not at all obligated to use him as my agent and he outlined his fees if I were to use him. Once I was ready to sell I called him back. I then signed a contract and he arranged for a professional photographer to come in once I was moved out. By second day that my house was posted we had two offers, the second of which I accepted. He continued to be helpful until the house closed. Long story short, I would highly recommend Stephen to anyone in Portland looking to buy or sell.”

“I first found Stephen FitzMaurice when he sold my next door neighbor's house. Last spring I asked him to sell my mother's house â€“ which he did within 3 days! So in the fall when my house was finally finished being remodeled, I of course asked him to sell it. It came on the market in the middle of November â€“ which of course is a more challenging time of the year to sell a house. So this time it took about a month! I highly recommend Stephen. He is very professional, returns calls promptly, and is always helpful. He has a list of skilled people to recommend, such as the contractor I hired for both houses, electricians, gardeners, etc. All of whom were wonderful, honest and very skilled in their professions. And his new assistant, Jennifer, was fantastic to work with!”

“I was incredibly pleased with Stephen's work! He brought in interest and prospective buyers so quickly that I had an asking price offer on the very first day! He was very knowledgeable of the local housing market and helped us to settle on a price that would be both competitive and profitable and in the end helped us get even more out of our house than we thought possible! He was incredibly responsive anytime we needed him and his associates were equally helpful and responsive!”

“Stephen led the sale of my home with efficiency, good advice, deep knowledge of the Portland housing market, and just enough hand-holding to make a first-time seller such as myself comfortable every step along the way. The whole process was smooth, and I am very satisfied with the result. All of this, by the way, was accomplished with me living overseas, 8 time zones away. I've never actually met Stephen in person, but I'm looking forward to doing so when I get back to Portland, and I highly recommend him as a realtor.”

“Stephen and his staff did an amazing job. I received an offer in 9 days at a price higher than the listing price, because of the excellent service and capability of Stephen and his staff. From the first day he came to the house for an interview, to the process of preparing the house, setting up the listing, through to the closing, every step of the way he performed. His advice on staging, his tech support to ensure high volume coverage of the listing, his ability to monitor all internet activity, and his negotiating skills are superior. I was impressed with his no-nonsense approach that works. The fact that he also has the most reasonable commission rate is a bonus, although I would have chosen him anyway. Many thanks to Stephen and his team to exceed all expectations on my house sale.”

“We recently sold property in Portland that we listed with Stephen FitzMaurice at Premier Properties. His knowledge of the Portland market and our unit priced it right for the quick sale we had hoped for. Within 48 hours of listing we had a full price offer. Repairs and cleanup were needed after renting. We live in NewMexico and were not there to do the repairs. Using contractors recommended by Stephen things were taken care of quickly and professionally with Stephens assistant Jennifer being very helpful with all the details. Paying a reduced commission of 4.5 % instead of 6% is a great benefit. We would most definitely recommend Stephen as your Portland realtor.”

“Being in a different state I found Stephen via the Internet, I called him, he, rather than jumping to get my business right away and since I was not in a hurry to sell, he recommended me to wait a few months to list my property in order to get a better selling price. I thought that was very honest on his part, he said he would call me back and he did, exactly when he promised. Stephen went way above and beyond to just listing and selling my house; he met with my tenants, received and inspected the property, twice, and he even check on my tenants on a Sunday of a holiday weekend! Stephen and Jennifer were great through out the whole process, they not only saved me lots of money because I didn't have to travel to Portland but also because they sold my property in just two days and above asking price! I will highly recommend them!”

“We had our home on the market for 7 months in 2014 and it didn't sell. We had several offers and they all fell through, not because the home, but because the buyers backing out for various reasons. During this process our #1 complaint was there was NO communication from our realtor. They did not explain what was happening. Then we switched to Stephen and everything changed. Him and Jennifer explained everythign to us. They made us part of the process and helped us understand what was happening along the way. Our home sold very quickly. During closing they even negotiated some additional benefits for us as the seller without us asking for it. They truly were lookign out for us through the entire process from listing to closing. I would use them again in a second.”

“Our experience with Mr. Fitzmaurice has been nothing short of flawless. Stephen has his art down to a science, and is one of the most efficient realtors I've had the privilege to have worked with. He is incredibly patient, thoughtful, kind, and accommodating, and knows how to get the job done. After reviewing and discussing options for our property sale in N. Portland, we agreed upon a very fair listing price. Due to Stephen's suite of online marketing and paid-for feature listings, we had over a dozen interested parties nearly immediately, and received a full price offer within 24 hours of listing. I was ready to gladly accept the offer, but Stephen advised to wait over the weekend to see if multiple bidders could be pitted against each other. This turned out to be great advice! By the end of the weekend, we had another offer at $6K over our asking price, which yielded a quick closing, no repairs, no concessions. The whole experience was smooth, easy, and very fruitful, and I would gladly refer and use Stephen again for all our Portland area real estate needs! In addition to being a great real estate agent, he's also an all around good guy, and a pleasure to work with. He has a very focused yet laid back attitude, and has the people skills to address all of the situations and stresses that pop up over the course of a property transaction.
