“Redawning has got to be the absolute worst company to choose to manage your home. The sales associate was amazing as most are. Telling you all they offer and how you have 24hr access to teammembers. But, it's a joke.
1. The guests have not been all bad. So I will start off with that. However, we had multiple towels stolen, kitchen towels stolen, plugs that activate chargers stolen, kitchen servingware stolen. To which I guess the maid did inform them and they never informed us. Soooo. We got a bad review the customer didn’t have what they needed. Mind you we even provide shampoo and toothpaste so it was shocking to hear.
2. They don't pay you after. It can sometimes take over 15 days to paid for a stay.
3. If something is wrong in your home it is supposed to be them that gets it sorted straight away. But, it is a lot of back and forth before it gets fixed.
4. They do not stand up for you. There isn't a reminder about giving reviews. So even though we have had multiple stays there are 3 reviews. Which 2 were negative. Does the company explain the issues... nope.
Its just been a mess and I highly recommend you just do it yourself.”
“The rental looked nice, but we had so many issues. To start, in the listing it should say that you have to enter through a gate, then a door, down a hallway, out the back door, down a very narrow set of steps, under a patio, then you reach your rental. Carrying suitcases and a 1 year old was nearly impossible to navigate. The next issue was the air-conditioning, we contacted the host as soon as we arrived about how hot it was and there was not an AC setting on the thermostat. There was no remote for the air-conditioners on the walls either. We sent numerous photos and messages to explain the situation and they kept responding that they would look into it, but no one ever came. Another huge issue we had was that we received a message telling us there were police on their way to evict us from the property for being loud and having unapproved guests there. The issue was that there were cameras and if they would have looked into the situation first, they would have seen it wasn't us. A few other issues were that a washer and dryer was listed for use and it did not work, there were very few towels for a 4 night stay, and the garage under the unit did not have a working lock into the unit so other people could have access to where we were staying.”
“I booked with Red Awning. We were traveling with two dogs so I was specifically looking for pet friendly places. Their "Comfortable Condo in the Heart of Bronzeville" (Chicago) listed "PETS OK" on the listings homepage and under amenities. They also listed "pet-friendly accommodations" under the property description. Their Standard Rental Terms Summary listed "No pets are allowed unless the property is listed as Pets OK." We were called a few days after our visit saying the local residents observed us with pets and an additional $126.56 would need to be charged. We didn't agree to it. Around 3 weeks later, Red Awning charged it without communication. We disputed it with our CC company and we notified Red Awning. The credited the charge back. They requested documentation to support our dispute. We provided the 4+ instances on their website that listed the condo as pet friendly. They did not reply. Four weeks later, they charged the $125.56 again without any communication to us. It's worth noting that they have since updated their listing as follows. "Please note that this is a pet friendly property. A fee of $25 per pet, per day, is applicable for guests bringing pets."”

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this property. We arrived on December 26th at 4:20 PM (after a stated 4 PM check-in time) to find that the cleaners had not been there, and the property was in the same state as it must have been when the previous guests left. Five minutes later, the cleaner arrived and claimed they could have the property ready in 10 minutes. We politely encouraged them to take the time needed to clean properly, as the property was nowhere near guest-ready.
We contacted Vrbo and were given the property manager’s information. When we reached out, the response we received was rude and dismissive. The property manager insisted that the cleaners could adequately clean the property in 30 minutes, which we found highly unrealistic given the condition of the rental. This completely undermined our confidence in the management and their commitment to cleanliness or guest experience.
Unfortunately, this lack of professionalism and disregard for basic hospitality standards left us regretting our choice of this property and we made the decision to cancel our reservation and now have to deal with refund process. We also took pictures to document with vrbo”

“Red Awning was our property management company for just a few months before we fired them because of a complete lack of financial transparency. Their invoices and payments are void of details so we never knew if we were billed or paid correctly. Every question was sent up to a so called team, who rarely answered. Their accounting is a complete mess. I don’t know if it’s by design or simply incompetence. I could go on and on but instead will just recommend everyone steer clear of Red Awning.”

The house we booked at encore Resort 7708 Fairfax in Kissimmee Florida had issues from Jacuzzi not working, no cushions on the pool chairs (just the metal base), leaks in living area coming from the bathrooms, broken fridge draws, broken ice machine plus plus. I have pictures of everything.
Called the company a hour after we arrived, they made all promises but never came through. They simply lied and wouldn't reimburse us a penny.
This house is far from elegant, pictures are deceiving, it's run down and ugly. Do not use this company, you cannot trust them.
I guess there's a reason this house is for sale, so many nasty reviews. The property manager Bonnie sawyer is a waste of time. She lied every day and I have all the calls and text saved for proof. Stay away. Go with jeeves and get a better deal.
I received an email 2 weeks after we left that the microwave is broken? 2 WEEKS LATER.
The house was inspected and cleaned 10am on October 22nd and I took pictures of the cleaning crew. They did not give us late check out because some family was checking in per our conversation.
They are trying to pin a broken microwave on us when other guests broke out.
Hey we are fully kosher and are not allowed to use a non kosher microwave.. We have no way of burning it out, there is no self clean option.
Red awning is a SCAM, WORST COMPANY EVER.

“Left Florida with family and booked a stay in Savannah Georgia. Arrived a day earlier to see where the house would be at. When I arrived but not leaving the vehicle I saw the area with some sketchy looking people and the neighborhood looked very run down. I canceled my booking for the next day I did not check in yet. The owner refused a refund to me so we can find a place to stay to escape the Hurricane. Then stated we did a breach of contract for going anywhere near home before checking in. Are you serious?”

“Rented what I thought was going to be a nice beach cottage in Virginia. Upon arrival to the home there was a terrible smell. Moldy,dirty air condition units , faulty electricity- lights flickering whenever on. Trash barrels in back usrd filled with garbage attracting lots of flys. Called Red Awnimg for a refund have received nothing back. This organization are professional scam artist. I had to leave the rental property and rent another place. Spent 2200.00 on a rental property that was absolutely disgusting. Never again. VRBO is probably just as bad. Initially found this property on VRBO. The description of the property on VRBO and Red Awnimg were complete lies.”
“Company does nothing and I mean that literally. They should not exist. They do no property management, offer no customer service, and add zero value. Owners should not use them and those renting a space should not be tortured with having to converse with them. Any issue was literally directed to the unit’s owner, who thank God, turned out to be a great guy who offered a 50% refund due to a horrible experience with construction noise. I would rather go through a full hair removal like in the 40 Year Old Virgin than ever interact wi ah this company again.”
