“I really like how easy it is to program the unit. It has enough power for me to heat the whole house if necessary. Being able to adjust the flame height and fan speed allows me to have it on the lowest settings and have the fire on for a nice effect. I can honestly say it was an excellent choice to have it installed. I had a wood stove for many years and was reluctant to change to gas because I didn't think it would create the same effect, I couldn't have been more wrong.”

“Pros: heats area near/around fireplace as expected. Looks nice. Cons: kind of expensive. Some features in the manual like the light is not present on my fireplace??? Other: After shutting off, it would be nice for the fan to continue to run so all the excess heat can continue to be dispursed into the room. This could be an option but instead of just shutting it off; you could utilize all the heat still contained in the fireplace. The fan can shut off automatically when the firebox reaches a certain lower temperature.”

“Once you get the starting process down it is easy to start and maintain a fire. Puts out a lot of heat and still has coals in the morning to restart. Looks great in my new addition”

“I have had this unit for about 10 years now and I have zero problems with it. I just have to replace batteries in the remote and the unit on a regular basis but it works perfectly.”
