“Overall: It was amazing! Enjoyed Most: The location of the property and the spectacular views! Enjoyed Least: No complaints at all! Surrounding Area: It is a fantastic place to visit with history and scenery everywhere. Nearby Events or Locales: Camucia was the closest small town, I believe. You could probably walk there but we took the bus or taxis to the train station. Tips or Restaurants: Be sure to bring a converter/adapter for the plugs. Other than that the villa is ready for your enjoyment. All of the restaurants we chose in Cortona were fantastic! Directions: We took a taxi from the Camucia train station so we didn't have to use the directions. Check In Out: Francesca was very helpful with our delay at check in and even arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the train at 10:30 p.m.”

“Overall: Loved by our whole group. Good base for day trips. Easy bus to Barcelona. Convenient easy walk to town (Sant Pere de Ribes) for daily groceries. Villa large enough that you could gather as a group or find a quiet spot to hibernate. Very comfortable and well supplied. Support management excellent and all issues dealt with immediately. Enjoyed Most: Privacy of compound and layout was excellent. Quiet and comfortable.Enjoyed the pool area and ping pong table. Enjoyed Least: Wifi system could be improved if possible. Perhaps brighter lights in living room. Surrounding Area: Walk to restaurants, Clubhouse 27 and Tennis Club for easy, delicious meals when we didn't want to drive out. Security service in neighborhood was excellent. We felt very safe. People were very friendly and helpful. Nearby Events or Locales: Sant Pere de Ribes and yes, 10 minute walk to bakery and grocery store. Local hospital within 10 minute drive with most services. Tips or Restaurants: Villa well stocked and can buy locally whatever you might need. Clubhouse 27 and Tennis Club both have great meals. Sunday BBQ at Tennis Club a nice option since most restaurants close if you rent before mid-June. Dinner at El Carnivore was expensive but a wonderful dining experience in service, ambience and food. 10 minute drive from villa. Directions: Directions are good. We used a GPS and met Saskia at the Clubhouse restaurant . Check In Out: Check in and out easy. We found all staff Alex, Saskia and Theresa very helpful and their presence and attention made our stay most enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for large group and would stay again.”

“Overall: This was a great apartment in an excellent location. It made me feel like I was a local. Enjoyed Most: Location was excellent, comfortable accommodations. Surrounding Area: Good food, very fun environment, fun day trips not too far away. Nearby Events or Locales: Asolo itself was pretty small. Directions: They were excellent instructions Check In Out: Francesca was very helpful and accommodating. It could not have been smoother.”

“Overall: The location of the property was superb. Overall experience was a positive one. The owners, Rita and Roberto, were helpful and delightful. Enjoyed Most: The comfort of the house, very open and well maintained, and the convenience of the swimming pool. Enjoyed Least: The caretakers, who lived in separate quarters, were sometimes there more than we would have liked. Surrounding Area: Great location to reach many Tuscan destinations. Nearby Events or Locales: There was the village of Vogognano (actually a small cluster of houses, not commerce). Not within walking distance. You do really need a car to stay at Casa Antonio. Tips or Restaurants: House is very spacious and very well equipped. One of the fun things to do was to drive a bit looking for good restaurants. There are many nearby. Directions: The directions sent along with the rental voucher were sufficient.”

“Overall: Very good. Enjoyed Most: It is a beautiful house with a great kitchen for preparing meals. We have rented a number of houses before and this had the best stocked kitchen (dishes, cutlery, pots and pans) of any of them. Enjoyed Least: The gate to the property broke at one point and our rental car got stuck trying to enter the driveway. We were not able to access CNN. Bats flew into two of the bedrooms at night when the windows were open. Cars beep when driving on the very narrow roads near the property. Surrounding Area: Lucca is a great town--not too overrun with tourists but with lots of good shops/restaurants/piazzas. Nearby Events or Locales: San Martino in Freddana. Not within walking distance, partly because the roads are narrow. It's probably also too far for most people and the return walk would be all uphill. Tips or Restaurants: Everyone should be reminded that all villas come without any food, extra toilet paper, etc. Directions: Can't use the GPS there--wouldn't work. Written directions were good. Check In Out: Appliances should have written directions on them. It is impossible to remember the very brief description given at check in. The on site person was responsive but spoke no English so we basically had to guess what to do.”

“Overall: This was the most stunning place we have ever stayed. The property was immaculate, the office staff were kind and professional - we are travelers and have stayed in many nice places around the world but this was definitely the best. Enjoyed Most: The views, the pool, the fully appointed kitchen and the privacy. Enjoyed Least: Water in the pool was a bit cool but we were still able to enjoy it. Surrounding Area: The stunning views! Nearby Events or Locales: Javea - not walkable--easy drive, though. Tips or Restaurants: There is a large supermarket after the Aldi, which is wonderful. Directions: We used GPS and followed directions to rental office. Check In Out: Everything was painless - couldn't be better!”

“Overall: Fabulous! It was far beyond our expectations! The property was lovely - the furnishings, the pottery, the oven, the dishwasher, the screens! the air conditioning.I would say the property had many more great qualities than we were expecting!.The pictures on the web site in no way do the property justice. If I can figure out how to send you pictures, I will do so. Enjoyed Most: It was lovely and had everything we needed. Our keyholder's chef had prepared lasagna and chicken cacciatore for us, along with a lovely appetizer and vegetables. We ate this - 6 of us - for 2 nights.It was very hot while we were there and the pool was fabulous! Enjoyed Least: I couldn't quite figure out the washing machine. Surrounding Area: Beautiful and convenient for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and the ocean.We took the train to Florence for a long day - it was easy and relaxing. We highly recommend it. Nearby Events or Locales: There is a lovely working olive grove just steps from the property. They sell a local wine and olive oil. There is also within one mile a fascinating cemetery. Tips or Restaurants: Don't bring anything!. All the things they talk about needing in "the Guide to Living like a Local" are provided - beach towels, garbage bags, etc.We had maid service on 2 days. We weren't really sure what they were doing and we did not know how much to tip them. Directions: We met our keyholder in Lucca. The biggest problem was her limited English and our limited Italian. Check In Out: We loved Daniella, the keyholder. She and her husband were great!”

“Overall: We had a simply wonderful time, the place was beautiful and the owner could not have been nicer or more generous. Enjoyed Most: Everything! Enjoyed Least: Really nothing about it was disappointing. It was a perfect place to spend a week in Northern Tuscany. Surrounding Area: The scenery, the people, the food, the wine. Nearby Events or Locales: There is really no small town within walking distance. There is a church, but no other facilities. Tips or Restaurants: Be sure to arrive during daylight hours - finding it is tricky. Check In Out: As previously stated, the owner checked us in and out. She was charming, gracious and extremely hospitable.”

“Overall: We would definitely return. The photos on the website do not do the property justice. Enjoyed Most: The location was very nice. Lots of trees, quiet, beautiful pool, lovely house. The kitchen and bathrooms were all new, clean and well-equipped. There were many places to sit outside in solitude or with your traveling companions. The owner met us at our arrival and gave us a very detailed explanation of the home in French; her English is not very strong. She also called for us and made restaurant reservations and the restaurant owner helped us find an extra room at a bed and breakfast in the area. Everyone was wonderful. Enjoyed Least: The electrical system tripped when we used all the appliances, but it is easy to reset. Surrounding Area: Convenient to all locations including several large grocery stores, small bakeries, restaurants, etc. Nearby Events or Locales: Isle-sur-la Sorgue is a few kilometers away. Not within walking distance - you definitely need a car. Tips or Restaurants: There is also a microwave oven contrary to the information on the website.”

“Overall: Wonderful apartment - tasteful, comfortable, nice and dark in the AM so we could catch up on sleep! Hassan was friendly and patient in explaining everything in the beginning. Good showers and plumbing, for Italy! Always appreciated! Enjoyed Most: The neighborhood was amazing. Great, great location. We could walk everywhere, yet got that neighborhood feel, and loved the less expensive restaurants in Trastevere. Enjoyed Least: The pull-out couch was a bit uncomfortable, but aren't they all? No real complaints! Surrounding Area: Like I previously mentioned - everything was walkable from the apartment, and we loved, loved the neighborhood. Tips or Restaurants: Location was a bit obscure - a map would have been helpful to find the street for the taxi driver. We kept getting lost! Great restaurant find - right over the bridge to the right of the hospital (right of Isola Tiberina) is Sora Lella, at Via Ponte 4 Capi, 16, 39 06686.16.01. Great old family recipes - loved the Osso Buco and homemade desserts. Check In Out: Hassan was so friendly and helpful.”

“Overall: Wonderful. This was our third time staying at this property and once again it met all of our expectations. Enjoyed Most: I love the location. It is a few steps away from the metro, very convenient. There is a lovely grocery store a block down the street, which is great for getting baguettes in the morning or to keep some snacks in the apartment. It is in a lovely area, close to great shopping, like Le Bon Marche, practically across the street! Enjoyed Least: The 77 steps it takes to get up to the apartment. Surrounding Area: It is very safe and quite. The shopping is terrific. Nearby Events or Locales: Not applicable. Tips or Restaurants: Do not bring anything. All is provided and it is a very easy place to stay. Great restaurant finds include Café Bini, in the 6th, as well as RL, also in the 6th. Both places require reservations but have menus in English. Directions: The directions were perfect. Couldn't be easier. Check In Out: The check in/check out process was very easy. Our contact met us at the appointed time outside the apartment and walked us through it, showed us how to operate the washing machine, told us about the code to the building and was very friendly overall. For check out, we just had to leave the keys in the apartment and take out the trash. Very simple!”

“Overall: Wonderful. "Housekeepers" Alex and Olga made sure that we had everything we needed, beginning with their greeting on arrival, through two weeks of suggestions and translations, to our final tearful farewell. Enjoyed Most: It was furnished like an elegant, private home, and SO well equipped with everything we could POSSIBLY need! Perfect for six friends - and could have been eight. Enjoyed Least: We would like to mention something, to make a balanced report. But we can't think of a thing. Surrounding Area: Great paved walking routes in the area. Closeness to lovely Orvieto was wonderful. The neighbors inside the walls of our "compound" were friendly, too! Nearby Events or Locales: Nearest small town of Viceno very walkable wasn't much of a town, but the next closest town, Castel Viscardo, had everything and was a stiff walk away - 6 km round trip! Tips or Restaurants: If there was ever a property that supplied everything, this is it including umbrellas by the front door. There is NOTHING else to bring. Great written restaurant suggestions complied by the owners helped us find several perfect spots. Our favorite was in the hotel La Pergoletta in Castel Viscardo. Directions: We used the map of Lazio that Rentvillas.com sent to us in advance. The hamlet of Benano was shown on that map but not on most others. We also pulled up Benano on Google Maps. So no problem finding it! Check In Out: Alex and Olga made checking in and out an experience rivaling anything we have ever encountered. So exciting when we arrived and met them, and so sad to leave. No issue at all getting our security deposit returned, although we would have understood if there HAD been a charge for the gallons of their wine we drank!”
