“I had my card swallowed up by an ATM in Turkey.
The Turkish bank asked for a fax from Revolut to be able to reutrn my card - Revolut refused to do this.
They offered to send me a card by express delivery, something I wasn't able to take up immediately.
A week later, when I was ready, I chatted to a series of incompetent people, who did not read the case history, did not bother to reply to questions fully. One chat with Revolut at the moment can take over an hour.”

Had a tax refund sent to the Revolut account and due to previous problems with them, I quickly transferred the refund to one of my other accounts before I had to battle to get my money!!....Just as well because now I'm having trouble getting the rest of the balance I left in the account....No end of documentation they're asking for....completely over the top and totally unnecessary...they have you jumping through hoops!! “Awful inexistent service - no fraud protection
Our accounts with Revolut have been compromised due to fraud activities. We called the revolut’s phone number immediately and no one answered, reported it immediately on the online chat they provide and despite our countless efforts for 10 hours, nobody has responded to us. 14,000 GBP have been stolen from our account and there is nobody from revolut who can assist or even respond to us. Shockingly bad service!”
“Difficult to get to the bottom of issues and Revolut are acting irresponsibly with customers. I do like the app and the principles of making money handling easier and more responsive.
I have had a significant issue however which Revolut have been very unhelpful with. They claim fee free top ups using a variety of payment methods and encourage people to use credit cards and apple/google pay.
I chose to top up my account using a credit card purchase through Google Pay as Revolut assure there will be no fees. On reviewing my credit card statements I saw my deposits had led to fees and interest. Revolut are taking cash advances from credit cards (like a cash withdrawal which nearly always attracts fees) rather than charging as purchases.
My bank say they have no control over how this money is requested from them i.e. why a cash advance rather than a purchase. I then spoke to a Revolut agent who said they offer fee free top ups and the cash advance payment type is nothing to do with Revolut which directly contradicts what my bank has said.
I also see that the app accepts credit card top ups directly with no warning that these are cash advances which are rarely fee free.This may lead to significant financial issues customers and is irresponsible customer service.
I have been left in the middle with no clarity on what is going on and why. I have received quite clear communication from my bank that it is Revolut who decide to take cash advances from credit cards, rather than purchases --- this will clearly lead to fees for customers and should be made much clearer.
Be more open with your customers Revolut!”

“Awful customer service - never use them. It takes days for chat support to answer, which is unacceptable for a financial service platform.
Transfer times are a lie - they say a ‘day’ when you put the transfer in. Oops - later on, it’s 2-5 days.
Extremely bad user interface too. Don’t use them unless you want to be terribly stressed.”

I've reviewed this on Trustpilot but hoping that reviewing here will make Revolut contact us directly! We have been scammed by someone purporting to be from Revolut. They called us directly and seemed to know everything about the account that the bank would know. We cannot get into the account or get in touch with Revolute directly to resolve this as he is locked out of the app.
Really awful that this can happen and that there is no contact possible.”
