“breach of PSD2 - even Action fraud UK notified
I recently opened my Revolut account, and after just a few days, it was blocked without any concrete reason given. For 16 days, I've only received standard replies about an alleged "verification," without any request for documents or a realistic deadline.
Revolut has ignored my cancellation.
The timeframe displayed in the app (September 1) has long since passed, without any adjustment or explanation.
Revolut only responds to my inquiries with boilerplate messages.
My termination request from 09.09. continues to be ignored.
This conduct constitutes a clear breach of PSD2 as well as your own Terms (Clauses 22/23).
I have since filed official complaints with:
Bank of Lithuania
Financial Ombudsman Service (UK)
BaFin (Germany)
Action Fraud (UK)
The fact that I even had to contact Action Fraud speaks volumes. Revolut is blocking my own funds and refusing to withdraw them despite my cancellation.”
