Royal Mail online postage service is not easy to follow if you dont want the collection by the postman service .Its difficult to find the option to defer the collection service unless you put it into the basket,so you end up toing and froing the pages.the option for the opt out of collection service should be put on the first page

They has a 48hour delivery service and tracking service which is good but it showed me that they had my parcel for 4days and delivered on the 5th day

App refused to accept accurate login details and couldn’t track items when tracking details provided. Got a notification when things had been delivered though… Confused and very frustrated. Overall left decidedly unimpressed. My five year-old grandchild could do better.

I have found the service to be quite good but the recent annual price increases are ridiculously high. Privatisation of Royal Mail has been a disaster.

Deliveries Xmas to date 16/01 are inconsistent with many losses altogether! plus a couple of breakages therefore overall not very good service. Fuming eBay Seller

I sent three parcels and around 20 cards from our local post office here in Cornwall to various destinations throughout the UK and every one was correctly delivered within a couple of days. However. on the flip side, I am still waiting on at least two parcels that were ordered on the 12th December and although the retailer has assured me they were promptly despatched via Royal mail, they have not yet arrived. I think the Royal Mail has become a form of postcode lottery depending on the sorting offices used. It needs a massive shakeup but in the interim, I would follow the advice of other reviewees and check which courier the retailer is using. DPD do appear to be the best at present.

Usually no problems until my normal postman was off for 2 weeks. Then that was when 2 items that I was expecting disappeared!

Today, 27th June, 2020 I received a Father's Day card with a 1st Class stamp posted in Barnsley and postmarked Sheffield 19th of June. Another card posted at exactly the same time, in the same postbox, arrived on time. In a previous case two cards posted on the same day, one from Sydney, Australia, the other from Barnsley, arrived together! There have been other problems with post from Barnsley. I have come to expect a poor service from this branch of Royal Mail.

I have no general problem with reliability of delivery, but Track and Trace simply doesn't do what it describes. Instead of being able to see my item's progress from place to place, and if it's out for delivery, I'm told: "Your item has been posted at a Post Office. As you've used our Royal Mail Signed For service, the next update you'll see is after we've attempted to deliver to the recipient." So, it could basically turn up at any time and on any day. How is that tracking and tracing? My letter could be anywhere between where it was posted and where I live, and could arrive today or next week. Not good enough.

I really feel bad as up until the lurgi they were fairly good in most cases anyway!now it’s just a shambles,am waiting on items paid for tracked and signed,36 days fon Russia but that’s Russia, but it came faster that post nl wich is 37 and counting, two more one 15 days and one 9!i have the we’ve got it so it’s cleared customs,so they can’t blame them, they just say we have huge back up processing as no staff and no vehicle as only allowed one postie in the van!i think the lads and lasses brave enough to go in are literally at wits end and have to climb everest with no rope.feel empathy and angry that there was not a plan B.all my tracker says is we’ve got it Langley hwdc,I did speake to a mate in there and he said roughly 1 to 3 weeks behind so I guess sit tight and is will arrive!!!!would easily change to five stars if get some feed back off RM and get some honest clarity on this.

The standards of the postmen who put letters through the door are in decline. They don't care about service. Our postman (one of several: they keep changing) just left a package on the doorstep that could easily have fitted through the letterbox. At least he bothered to ring the bell. Sometimes they don't even bother to do that so you find a package on your doorstep.

Stuff always seems to be delivered but the tracking info is very poor. All it ever says is that an item has been posted and eventually updates when delivered but theres no updates as to when its coming or where it is etc.?

Did the 48-hour tracked, got here on time. Fairly happy with the service this particular time.
