“Terrible service. Say they've attempted to deliver an item on 4 occasions, however they haven't as people have been in at the delivery address and no card has been left. This has gone on for days as I've tried to rearrange delivery but every time I try to rearrange delivery I get an email saying they've tried to deliver but they haven't. I've then spent an hour and 15 minutes hanging on the phone trying to speak to a customer service advisor who when I eventually got through said he could re-arrange delivery for me and then the line was cut off. I've also sent an email to customer services and i'm doubtful I will get a response. I can't even arrange to pick it up at my local sorting office which only opens up now two hours a day first thing in the morning. I am struggling to think how anyone could make this service worse.”
“I used the address and the name of a book shop open from 9am to 18pm monday to sunday in order to be sure to receive and have no surprises.

“Waited in a day for delivery that had to be signed for ,never turned up, track and trace unavailable site down ,and took 24hrs just to get to London depot from posting in London and should have been with me in Worcestershire in 24hrs , day wasted hanging around, and should lose it's royal coat of arms warrant, as not owned by a uk company, so no loyalty to the crown or country.”

I ordered FOOD. And today I got an email saying they attempted to deliver the parcel but nobody was in.
Which is a flat out lie because I and my family have been in all day.
And this pompous knobhead that I talked to was incredibly condescending about it, saying that they are “ahead of schedule” and that “nobody was in” is actually code for vehicle breakdown or excessive traffic.
Incredibly disappointed at how Royal Mail has gone downhill over these past few years and I will not be using them again if I can help it.”

They didn't deliver the parcel 10 days ago on 18th 08 but no note no email. Just found it now after 10 days. Can't collect because at Wembley they are open only from 8-10am. RM is getting worse and worse.

“Postman collected my item and then in the tracking it said failure to collect, Royal Mail say the item was not collected yet my partner handed him the parcel and he walked off with it not attaching a label and not scanning it”
“I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Royal Mail. They provided a delivery window for my parcel on the 6th of August between 11:23 and 14:23, but I was at home the entire time and no one came to deliver. Later, I received an email claiming they had tried to deliver, even though no attempt was made.
The next day, I was told my parcel would be delivered between 11:06 and 14:06, but I still haven't received it. The staff in East London have been dishonest and unprofessional. They collect people's hard-earned money to deliver parcels but fail to do so and lie about attempted deliveries.
I now avoid businesses that use Royal Mail because I know their service is unreliable. Very disappointing experience.”

“They don't deserve the One Star. Don't use the Royal Mail Tracker 24, it's a scam. This service is DEFINITELY NOT a 24 hr service, and when you call them they can't do anything. We paid extra for a passport to be sent with the Tracker 24, from The American Embassy in London to our London address. Royal Mail decided the quickest route was via Manchester, and from Manchester to Swindon!!!!!! Was then told by Customer Service the 24 hrs only kicks in when it gets to Swindon, not when it was sent from London!!!!!!! However that is not true, If it were we'd still receive the passport in time to make our flight. Unfortunately, Royal Mail don't guarantee anything and can only aim to get it to us within 42 hrs of it reaching Swindon and that's just "an aim, not a guarantee". I spoke to customer service and offered to drive to Swindon to pick it up, but was told Swindon is not customer facing!!!!!! I've just checked the Tracker 10 hours after i spoke to customer service, and 16 hrs after it arrived in Swindon and it's still in Swindon!!!!! If the passport does not arrive tomorrow we miss our flight, and a flight to New York at short notice is £1,700 one way. When a mail service is incapable of sending a package from a London address to another London address then they should cease to operate. From now on I will always look to see if I can use another company, even if it costs me more. The Royal Mail are not fit for purpose.”
“I have had an awful experience with this company seceral times. This is the latest tale of woe! Expecting an overseas parcel which I knew would have a custom payment. Royal mail informed me of the total needed 42.50 which I paid immediately. I was told it would be delivered in 3 days. Stayed in to receive parcel but no delivery. Stayed in the next day, still no delivery. Went to our local parcel office told computers were down so they could not locate parcel, went again next day, computers still down. Went next day computers working but was told because it was a customs delivery parcel they could not look it up. A day later (a full week after so called delivery date still not received it. I am in despair and will try to never use RM again. Terrible company!”

“Bought items from Etsy seller in Paris. Parcel sat in French airport for a Month before being returned to seller! Parcel has been resent nd has been sitting in UK customs for 6 days nd counting. Logged complaint and told to expect update in 2 days = Nothing!!! Are we living in the dark ages or what!!!!”
