“Horrific. Paid the customs, on delivery day I got' sorry we missed you ' when I was in all day - redirected it to my home it did not arrive, waited in all day. Called numerous times only to be cut off - no help, no commubication, no attempt at delivery - a joke of a business...royal mail/ parcel force, do your job or don't take peoples packages. DO NOT USE these companies. Zero stars.”
“Why cant we leave 0 star!! Email received giving an approx time for delivery so I made arrangements with work to be at home. Then the times changed, and then the times were changed for the third time. I missed the delivery. Chit in the post to say it's going to be delivered the next day. (today). Been onto the website to track my item so I can ascertain an approx time.....Meh, no info available. Can't we just bin RM and Parcel Force off. We don't need them and we don't want them either. On the phone to RM to try and ascertain an ETA....over 60 minute wait. Another area of concern!!”
“Reading reviews I am not the only one recieving very poor service. Due to Royal Mail bad service even with tracking I sent a birthday present and gave Royal Mail benefit of the doubt and sent it by their normal post and guess what IT DID NOT ARRIVE. Due to not having any tracking NO HELP. I have finally got to the end of my thether unless I have to will look at other avenues to send my post/parcels. Royal Mail no longer a service but a disaster”
“A truly terrible criminal company who thinks they can do what they want. I have had hundreds of parcels lost over the past year. Even though the parcels show as not delivered on their own system they still refuse claims and steel the money for a service they know there not providing. Taking money for a service their own system is telling them there not providing is clearly theft and is a crime.
I wrote a written complaint three months ago and it was promised it would all get sorted out two months ago and I just had to put all my claims in again. This took me a lot of time. This was ignored and every email I have sent them since has been ignored.
When I call them and take around an hour to get through, I just keep on getting told that I have to wait and they can't give me any sort of time scale on sorting this out. It’s been a whole year since I have told them about the problems and three months since my written complaint and they won't even tell me how much longer it’s going to be.
How can so called companies like this get away with it when there meant to be regulated.”
“Would have given zero stars… service is seriously soo poor. Royal Mail said I would get delivery of BTHub etc 26th September 2025..BT engineer arrived Monday PM to do broadband fibre job.. Royal Mail hadn’t delivered the required kit, they are totally impossible to contact.. absolutely useless, they couldn’t care less about customers who are paying them, they just let everybody down. “Requested and paid for parcel collection from house and they failed twice to collect each time waiting in all day. I then
rearranged Changing to within 24yrs collection at higher price . This time they stated no sign anyone in except Sainsburys could ring the bell and deliver my order but royal mail failed to ring even with instruction on door or noticing inside door was open. No note through the door to indicate that anyone had actually been and had attempted collection only email.”

“I lost three parcels worth over 300 pounds in the past. They write delivered, with a photo, yet the photo does not show the exact place they left the parcel. I was in the house and did not see anything outside. There was no card to trace who left it outside, but a picture in my email. On 22 nd of September, I missed another delivery, and could not trace it as I was told it had been 10 days since it was delivered, during which time I was enquiring with the company I bought goods from. Today I waited by the door for the period time they said they would deliver. I did not hear any footsteps of anyone coming or a card to show proof of traceable evidence in case the parcel is stolen. I even wrote a note on my door that knock hard the bell is not working, but there was no knock, until I went to check the message in my email that said delivered. I quickly opened the door at the same time and found the parcel. This means if I had delayed, I was going to lose the parcel again, yet I have a safe place to leave parcels t
They seem to be in a hurry to leave as they drop off, take a pic, and go. This service is dangerous as it triggered my blood pressure, and they do not care to follow up. All I had after asking about my parcel was that it was delivered, so I need to contact the company who have sold me the goods to deal with the case. I don't know how it makes sense. The fault must be with the delivery person, not leaving a card as proof of delivery, to make it easier for the recipient to be aware that something is outside. Or better, leave the parcel at a safe place or at the rear gate, where it can not be tampered with.”

“I arranged for a redelivery for Saturday 6th September via the app on Thursday 4th morning as I work Monday to Friday so knew I wouldn't be in to take delivery as previously I have had to complain about them failing to deliver to my safe place. I received the confirmation email that they would deliver Saturday as requested yet they still tried to delivery it on Friday 5th item now shows as pending I attempted to follow the instructions about redelivery but am unable to as I have an outstanding request for it to be delivered today. Today is Saturday September 6th & I am still waiting for it to be delivered. Not happy at all I am seriously considering not purchasing items if they are to be delivered by Royal Mail as every time they fail to deliver not just the delivery but on customer service too.”
“Terrible service. Say they've attempted to deliver an item on 4 occasions, however they haven't as people have been in at the delivery address and no card has been left. This has gone on for days as I've tried to rearrange delivery but every time I try to rearrange delivery I get an email saying they've tried to deliver but they haven't. I've then spent an hour and 15 minutes hanging on the phone trying to speak to a customer service advisor who when I eventually got through said he could re-arrange delivery for me and then the line was cut off. I've also sent an email to customer services and i'm doubtful I will get a response. I can't even arrange to pick it up at my local sorting office which only opens up now two hours a day first thing in the morning. I am struggling to think how anyone could make this service worse.”
“I used the address and the name of a book shop open from 9am to 18pm monday to sunday in order to be sure to receive and have no surprises.
This morning I receive a message from royal mail saying delivery attempted, address inaccessible...
As I know the book shop is not recently exploded should be easy find the entrance door but no. Not for Royal mail . No one job is easy for royal mail”
“Waited in a day for delivery that had to be signed for ,never turned up, track and trace unavailable site down ,and took 24hrs just to get to London depot from posting in London and should have been with me in Worcestershire in 24hrs , day wasted hanging around, and should lose it's royal coat of arms warrant, as not owned by a uk company, so no loyalty to the crown or country.”

I ordered FOOD. And today I got an email saying they attempted to deliver the parcel but nobody was in.
Which is a flat out lie because I and my family have been in all day.
And this pompous knobhead that I talked to was incredibly condescending about it, saying that they are “ahead of schedule” and that “nobody was in” is actually code for vehicle breakdown or excessive traffic.
Incredibly disappointed at how Royal Mail has gone downhill over these past few years and I will not be using them again if I can help it.”
