Absolutely disgusting service don't care about animals what so ever only care about being paid and feeding their own egos. My word against theirs apparently so going to leave a poor defenseless rabbit to be neglected in these -5 temperatures not being fed although we have photo and video evidence. Shame on you rscpa you should be ashamed.

Tried to ring RSPCA in regards to a dog left outside in a compound barking loudly between 2300hrs and 0300hrs every night wanting to get into the warmth. Tried ringing the RSPCA number 03001234999 what a waste of time being told that I will have to wait 30 mins before someone answers. Yet this organisation asks you to report cruelty to animals but they don't answer. Not going to bother anymore or support them as they don't seem to care or they would answer the call immediately.

Rescued very badly damaged swan (signet) from river .....EVERY contact route to/through RSPCA totally and utterly useless. Eventually located a local charity who collected the bird .....they were superb. I would NEVER support the RSPCA again and recommend people to support small charities....the RSPCA should be broken up into smaller elements, management structure dismantled and there should be a regulatory body to ensure donations truly are animal focused and not management bank accounts...

Horrific! Asked for advice on home euthanasia for dog, they suggested doing it, I requested 1-2 days to sort cremation they agreed, later that day a phone call from RSPCA she can collect my dog in 20 minutes, I told her no that's not long enough to say goodbye and organise with crematorium, she called me an Animal Abuser! asking for 1-2 days to organize cremation that's Animal Abuse! She has never seen the dog! I have mental health problems and this triggered a episode, I hung up on her after saying I'm a Animal Abuser. 15 minutes later she knocked on my door, I ignored, she then left a voice message "because you have not answered the door I have contacted the police to collect the dog" That is horrific! I called to help the dog and they turned it on me makeing a hard situation into a horrific one! I was crying in fear of losing the dog, I hope no one has to go through what I just did. Anything is better than RSPCA please call anyone else! P.s I still have the dog would not let her touch him

Absolutely disgraceful. Called for an injured feral cat. The phone operator was uncaring. Told me to take it to the vet. I told him several times I can't get it to a vet. All he kept saying was. Taking it to the vet was the quickest way to get help. ( so your not willing to take it to a vet) ( so your refusing to assist the cat ) I said isn't that your job, isn't that what you guys get paid for. He hung up on me. I called back. Steven was so rude and dismissive. RSPCA do not care about animals at all 😞😓😩

Disgusted and horrified. Made a report about a neglected dog and I’m not the only one that’s made a report several others have too, and was pretty much told there was nothing wrong with what the owner was doing. These people aren’t all for the animals best interest and I wouldn’t recommend their services. Would give a zero if I could. Joint needs to be shut down. Horrible service.

Found an animal that had been neglected and told them all about the owner and the neglect No interest what so ever. Previous neighbours have been reporting them for a long time too. I took it in to treat it for worms fleas and feed until they could get an officer to speak to them once they were back. Rang them to say the owner was back can you send someone to have a word and also collect the cat no interest again. I tried helping but because it had a chip it meant no one could help even though it was neglected. Would score zero if I could

In 2004 we had a house fire ,we managed to find people to take in us and our children ,but our dogs and cats had to stay in the house ,we would go get the dogs ,take them with us whilst taking kids to school, then go back and spend the whole day with them, take them to pick up kids then back to the house We would then go sort kids dinner ,baths and bed ,then our friend would watch them whilst we went and sorted animals out(these were a rescue gsd and a lurcher) 10 days after the fire rspca turned up ,accused us of not feeding the dogs ,said our lurcher was a labrador, ignored when our vet told her he was a lurcher and the gsd was getting weekly wiegh ins due to being serverly under wieght when I rescued her 5 weeks before Rspca insisted in taking the dogs to their vet,I went also as they were not taking my dogs anywhere without me The rspca vet said dogs were great ,spoke to our vet and said the officer was completely out of order, was taken no further In 2011 the rspca were called due to one of our horses limping Rspca called vet out ,I made both sign a note stating if I was right and the limp was due to a kick from another pony they would pay bill If they were right that it was a abcess I would pay bill Rspca inspector never got closer than 10 foot Well I didn't pay the £480 vet bill ,they have no knowledge or rights

Next doors dog was in a 6'square run with a broken down kennel up to its knees in excrement, water bucket filled from outside, never cleaned and fed by throwing dry food through a hole onto the poo covered floor. Barked all day and night as never let out. Called the Rspca who apparently visited but as the fence was 6' high couldnt see the dog so just went away. Never asked for a ladder or tried to see over at all. I called again and was told "we couldn't witness the situation so couldn't do anything" they could have viewed it through my upstairs window as I could if they had asked to. There was no attempt to help this dog at all. Complete waste of time.

Terrible people no interest what so ever in helping animals, the self appointed animal police force with a political agenda, don't like any form of working animals and have no idea of thier needs as an animal, little more than animal rights extremists.

Don't believe everything you read about the cases they prosecute. I have seen first hand for myself and there are dvd recordings made by the RSPCA to support my claims. In December 2015 they raided a supposed puppy farm in Solihull, West Midlands, but that had no puppies. The dogs were housed in airey spacious stables, with two or three food and water bowls in each stable. The stables were clean with white shavings covering the floor, and with additional dog beds on top of the shavings. Each stable also had a number of dog toys. The only dog excrement visible, was for the previous night. The raid was at 7am, and the dogs hadn't been cleaned out at that time. The dogs themselves were in good condition and clean, which was clearly obvious because quite a few were white. The dogs also looked as though they were regularly groomed and well maintained as in short claws etc. The owners who are both friends of mine, were 'unlawfully' arrested, and I say 'unlawfully' because to be arrested legally, there must be good reason to believe that a crime has been committed. This was however not the case, and was simply a means to remove the owners from the property. Whilst the owners were then detained at Solihull police station, a transformation, along with an additional recording and photographs taken, which would then secure the successful prosecution of the owners, with one of them receiving a six month custodial sentence. The RSPCA inspector leading the raid, is very much one of the 'main' faces of the RSPCA, and is regularly seen on tv and adverts for the RSPCA. Police officers from Solihull police station, also assisted the RSPCA with the incriminating transformation, and the vet present was from Manor Vets in Hallsowen, West Midlands. Doors and windows were closed, to make the clean airey stables, look dark and poorly ventilated. Food and water bowls, along with the beds and toys were removed, so as to support the dogs not having any access to fresh water and food. Initially I couldn't work out, what they had done to make the clean white shavings in the stables look so dirty, and to also make the dogs so dirty, and look like they were unloved and not cared for at all, but then I worked it out, and I must stress that I did not see this, but it is the only explanation. At the back of the stables was a large muck heap, with all the dogs dirty bedding on it, and then I realised that if they had filled the wheel barrows with the dirty bedding on the muck heap, tipped them into the stables, and spread it all over the floor, that would then make the housing for the dogs look really bad and dirty. I'm assumming that they also covered the dogs in dirty bedding, rubbing it into them, and I'm sure you can imagine what the dogs would now be looking like. Then off the RSPCA go to court with all their 'staged' evidence, and secure a successful prosecution, when in reality it was all a set up. The RSPCA also claimed that none of the dogs had been vaccinated, but I would be prepared to stand up and swear in court, that when I arrived at the property, and was making my way into the house, a police officer was coming out of the house, carrying a large clear plastic bag, and I could clearly see a large number of vaccination cards in it. I do know what look like because I have a dog myself.

Had an injured fox cub here last year so phoned the RSPCA. Good job that I'm an experienced person with animals and live in the country because the advice I was given was absolutely disgusting and would have caused more stress to the poor animal. In the end, I phoned our local wildlife rescue and they were out within half an hour. Took cub to their vet and, as I sadly thought might be the case, the poor thing had a smashed pelvis and broken spine from being hit by a car. He was quietly put to sleep. The RSPCA had advised I pin the cub down with a broom to hold him until one of their inspectors arrived. This isn't the first time they have come out with utter rubbish but that's another story. Don't waste your money or time with them. Caring and responsive does not come into their vocabulary. They are only interested in making money for themselves.

They publicly say they disagree with BSL,but they take owners of such breeds to court in order to gain money from them and earn the owners criminal records. I myself was taken to court by the RSPCA for owning a banned breed,a vet said my dogs were not a danger and were in great health. Yet RSPCA persuaded the judge to have all my dogs destroyed/murdered by lethal injection. Lying scumbags.

I used to support the RSPCA, in fact my wife used to help out at the weekend many years ago. Then I heard that they had destroyed 10 healthy German Shepherd’s with a captive bolt gun dragging each one out of its kennel and killing it in front of the others . This is a terrible cruel way to kill any healthy animal and pushing a metal rod in the brain of the dog after the bolt gun is used to make sure the poor creature is dead. It’s known as pithing and the operator of such a device needs to be correctly trained in how to use. The U.K. German Shepherd rescue had offered to take these animal but were refused. Since I heard about this I started looking into reviews and found out they have a dreadful reputation in the U.K. For reasons stated above I will never support such an organisation and there are plenty of accounts of this organisation that have harassed vets, lawyers and former employees resulting in one lady taking her own life.
