Hi Gert, Thank you for providing feedback on our services, we love feedback even when it is negative. Firstly I am sorry to hear that you did not find value in our service, we will take any learnings from your feedback and hopefully work towards no one else feeling the way you do. I would like to say that the word scam is a relatively strong term considering we have been open about the service we offer and what it entails. We do understand your frustration with the process of collecting documents to prove your family links, and while we facilitate the preparation and submission of applications on our client’s behalf, we have always stated that the onus is on the client to source the required documentation from Home Affairs once we have issued you with a personalized document checklist, and that you would need to submit your final application in person at the Embassy to have your biometric details captured.   Your application had an added layer of complexity that the Embassy could not navigate without the need for a Determination of Citizenship to be done. Unfortunately, that decision is made entirely at their discretion and is not a process we could have circumvented. We do value your feedback and acknowledge that there are areas of our service that could have been improved upon in your case. As a gesture of our sincerity, we will be contacting you to arrange a full refund of the fee paid to us in respect of your passport application.
The Validation process was laborious with several documents rejected even though they clearly showed the required information and the non essential information was redacted or concealed. The documents were eventually accepted after I complained twice. Lauren Hartog was helpful and assured, she assisted throughout.

The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because your log in website is so difficult to find. There is far too much advertising of other products before clicking on the right address actually to log in. Apart from that the service is excellent and all personnel answering calls are quick, friendly and efficient.

It was easy to do but I had received a code for a free birthday transfer which I put in but was still charged the 10 pounds.

Her expertise is gratefully appreciated. When you consider you only have one chance to get this right, it is worthwhile spending the extra money with an organisation that is so professional , experienced and understanding. Excellent service and prompt. I would like to have the ability to have a longer password. In these days of cyber security issues The longer password (minimum 12 characters, 16 is better, 20 better still) Is this going to be possible when you are merged with "big brother" . Keep up the good work.

I am quite happy with 1st Contact. Their customer service is excellent, all my emails are responded to very quickly and the responses I get are informative. I am happy with the charge for transfers and it is great that when you do an EFT there is no charge!! Their platform is also very user friendly and the transfer of funds is quick! When I had a problem once on the platform (an Issue with my bank and not the platform) and I needed to urgently transfer funds, I called them and they did it on the phone for me. Amazing service !

I am a self-employed carer, and was having trouble receiving the OTP code from the bank, to allow me to transfer money online. I called 1st Forex on Skype from South Africa and spoke to a woman who processed the transfer for me, obviating the necessity for the OTP process, and calling me back once she had confirmed that the transfer had been successfully completed. I was most grateful for her help, and very impressed with her handling of the whole thing. Many thanks again, Sue Dawson.
