Charged me £ 34 for delivery. No sign of what I ordered 2 weeks later . They have a phone number that is an ansaphone . Looks like I’ve scammed out of nearly £80 total.

Ordered £272 of goods on 6th February with a 3 to 5 day delivery; didn't arrive. After ten working days I contacted the company. Product was out of stock with the manufacturer, due 6th March, which was too late, so I asked for order to be cancelled and a was told a refund would be processed immediately. Several days later the refund had not come through so I called back and was told the refund would be processed that day and I should receive within 5 working days. Today I called the accounts team to ask why the refund hadn't been made and was told I would have to send an email with the details, that they would look into it and then process the payment. Absolutely disgusted with this behaviour. Not a trust-worthy company. If they can't deliver the goods, they shouldn't keep the customer's money!”
“I ordered 2 lockable bins from Safefence . The second one was delivered locked and without the key ! I also can acknowledge that the first one does not close properly ( it leaves a 5mm gap when locked ), so quality seems inconsistent. Disappointed.”
“First and last purchasing experience with this company.
One star is for the product, which to be fair appears to be okay, that is provided the driver doesn't tell you he'll carefully slide the goods under the gate (when he knows they won't fit) but instead launches them over the gate, breaking the barbed wire on top and damaging the goods and then say you TOLD him to launch them over the gate - how many people buy expensive goods and then tell the courier/driver to launch them over an 8 foot gate? The reason no one was available to take the delivery is that the driver was supposed to call ahead an hour before delivery but failed to do this.
Then you get the pleasure of the office - firstly the person who took the order apparently doesn't work in sales but was available all the time on the phone until I tried to get to the bottom of what had gone on and then he was suddenly on leave/in a meeting etc. Then Phil who was doing a very half hearted job of trying to find out what had happened said that (because I had photos to back up what I was saying) he would speak to the original guy when he got back from leave tomorrow and get back to me. He didn't so the next day I called him - they always want to know who is calling and from what company, most likely to give a warning to the person you want to speak to so they can say that they're busy on a call or in a meeting and will call you back, which they don't do. So basically, while they're taking your money, they're great, but if anything goes wrong - you won't hear back from them.
While trying to sort out the issue with the delivery I asked why nearly a week later I'd not received my invoice. Apparently the system was having an issue with my invoice (only my invoice was clarified) to which I asked for it to be emailed over so I could get my accounts done. I was told that it takes 48 hours to produce an invoice and I should hopefully have it in two days time which is when I needed it by. When I said I wasn't happy I was told 'I don't appreciate the tone of your voice' - I don't shout at people, there is absolutely no point, especially when dealing with a company like this - what he didn't appreciate was the fact I wasn't taking what he said and explained that I needed it to complete my accounts.
I'm not sure who verifies these reviews - I'm assuming it's Safe Fence themselves because if you look down the list, if you put a low score you are a Verified Reviewer, but if you give them five stars, then you are a Verified Buyer - so apparently I didn't buy anything, I only put out a review - invoice available as proof if anyone needs to see it.”
“So after my last review, they got in touch with me and suddenly really REALLY wanted to help me.
So they sent the barriers i ordered. However, they came covered in grease, AND I MEAN COVERED. They are totally unusable until they have been cleaned which will take hours.
I obviously wrote back to Leah, and she said she's passed it to customer services and they would get in touch. They didnt, surprise surprise.
so Leah gave me the feedback from the customer service rep and told me to clean them. Fin.
this company is an absolute joke, only wanted to help after i left bad reviews, and still don't care. IT WAS A REAL MISTAKE PURCHASING FROM THEM.”
“Damaged goods on arrival due poorly loaded van on couriers part and only part of order delivered. Spoke and sent e-mails to safe fence, no reply. Called and told i must speak to Richard but hes busy. Never returned my call. Sent e-mail. No response. Received second part of order, one sign missing. Called and told it will be sent out. Day before we need the missing sign received the wrong sign. Had to borrow one. Called to complain spoke to reception, told to e-mail Charlotte ( customer service ) i have been waiting for almost 2 months and nobody has been in touch and never received the missing sign.”

“Ordered crane forks that turned up sealed and damaged. Signed for on delivery and not opened until Monday… so sent the photos of the damage.

I placed an order on 16th July 2021 for speed bump kits, they never arrived (seemed to have gone missing) I called and they arranged for another set to be delivered. Once again these never arrived. I called the company again and they advised the original order had been returned and was issued to another customer, and the second delivery never left as they had none in stock.
At no point did the company contact me, I had to chase them all the time for information.
I went through another company and received the products without any issue. I asked for a refund on 9th August, and am still waiting on this. I have sent 3 emails since and called twice, but still no refund.
I will be contacting trading standards tomorrow.”
