Now reading the reviews I see I’m another victim. Charged me £ 34 for delivery. No sign of what I ordered 2 weeks later . They have a phone number that is an ansaphone . Looks like I’ve scammed out of nearly £80 total. Please do not use this company

they could not supply the goods. I then spent several weeks trying to get a refund. Avoid using this company.

Do not trust this company. Ordered £272 of goods on 6th February with a 3 to 5 day delivery; didn't arrive. After ten working days I contacted the company. Product was out of stock with the manufacturer, due 6th March, which was too late, so I asked for order to be cancelled and a was told a refund would be processed immediately. Several days later the refund had not come through so I called back and was told the refund would be processed that day and I should receive within 5 working days. Today I called the accounts team to ask why the refund hadn't been made and was told I would have to send an email with the details, that they would look into it and then process the payment. Absolutely disgusted with this behaviour. Not a trust-worthy company. If they can't deliver the goods, they shouldn't keep the customer's money!

I ordered 2 lockable bins from Safefence . The second one was delivered locked and without the key ! I also can acknowledge that the first one does not close properly ( it leaves a 5mm gap when locked ), so quality seems inconsistent. Disappointed.

First and last purchasing experience with this company. One star is for the product, which to be fair appears to be okay, that is provided the driver doesn't tell you he'll carefully slide the goods under the gate (when he knows they won't fit) but instead launches them over the gate, breaking the barbed wire on top and damaging the goods and then say you TOLD him to launch them over the gate - how many people buy expensive goods and then tell the courier/driver to launch them over an 8 foot gate? The reason no one was available to take the delivery is that the driver was supposed to call ahead an hour before delivery but failed to do this. Then you get the pleasure of the office - firstly the person who took the order apparently doesn't work in sales but was available all the time on the phone until I tried to get to the bottom of what had gone on and then he was suddenly on leave/in a meeting etc. Then Phil who was doing a very half hearted job of trying to find out what had happened said that (because I had photos to back up what I was saying) he would speak to the original guy when he got back from leave tomorrow and get back to me. He didn't so the next day I called him - they always want to know who is calling and from what company, most likely to give a warning to the person you want to speak to so they can say that they're busy on a call or in a meeting and will call you back, which they don't do. So basically, while they're taking your money, they're great, but if anything goes wrong - you won't hear back from them. While trying to sort out the issue with the delivery I asked why nearly a week later I'd not received my invoice. Apparently the system was having an issue with my invoice (only my invoice was clarified) to which I asked for it to be emailed over so I could get my accounts done. I was told that it takes 48 hours to produce an invoice and I should hopefully have it in two days time which is when I needed it by. When I said I wasn't happy I was told 'I don't appreciate the tone of your voice' - I don't shout at people, there is absolutely no point, especially when dealing with a company like this - what he didn't appreciate was the fact I wasn't taking what he said and explained that I needed it to complete my accounts. I'm not sure who verifies these reviews - I'm assuming it's Safe Fence themselves because if you look down the list, if you put a low score you are a Verified Reviewer, but if you give them five stars, then you are a Verified Buyer - so apparently I didn't buy anything, I only put out a review - invoice available as proof if anyone needs to see it.

So after my last review, they got in touch with me and suddenly really REALLY wanted to help me. So they sent the barriers i ordered. However, they came covered in grease, AND I MEAN COVERED. They are totally unusable until they have been cleaned which will take hours. I obviously wrote back to Leah, and she said she's passed it to customer services and they would get in touch. They didnt, surprise surprise. so Leah gave me the feedback from the customer service rep and told me to clean them. Fin. this company is an absolute joke, only wanted to help after i left bad reviews, and still don't care. IT WAS A REAL MISTAKE PURCHASING FROM THEM.

Damaged goods on arrival due poorly loaded van on couriers part and only part of order delivered. Spoke and sent e-mails to safe fence, no reply. Called and told i must speak to Richard but hes busy. Never returned my call. Sent e-mail. No response. Received second part of order, one sign missing. Called and told it will be sent out. Day before we need the missing sign received the wrong sign. Had to borrow one. Called to complain spoke to reception, told to e-mail Charlotte ( customer service ) i have been waiting for almost 2 months and nobody has been in touch and never received the missing sign.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. terrible customer service, rang 4 times and promised call-back each time, emails all ignored. Our order was placed on the 22nd April and still waiting! I'm a little surprised the reviews range from 1 to 5 star?

Ordered crane forks that turned up sealed and damaged. Signed for on delivery and not opened until Monday… so sent the photos of the damage. took a month of me contacting them to get some answer. Terrible customer service and they don’t want to hear anything about it. Would not recommend or purchase off this company again.

Do not order with this company. I placed an order on 16th July 2021 for speed bump kits, they never arrived (seemed to have gone missing) I called and they arranged for another set to be delivered. Once again these never arrived. I called the company again and they advised the original order had been returned and was issued to another customer, and the second delivery never left as they had none in stock. At no point did the company contact me, I had to chase them all the time for information. I went through another company and received the products without any issue. I asked for a refund on 9th August, and am still waiting on this. I have sent 3 emails since and called twice, but still no refund. I will be contacting trading standards tomorrow.

Don’t use this company, placed order for next day delivery, it didn’t turn up till days later. So the workman I had arranged I had to cancel at short notice, who charged me for the privilege. I pleaded with safe fence for some kind of compensation for their error. But they could not care less. Not their problem, they use a courier company and it was their fault. Despite me even breaking down in tears down the phone , they would not compensate me . Ordering from their company cost me money and they could not care less. It cost me £100 for cancellation of the workman and safe fence are not prepared to even make a gesture towards it.. absolutely disgusting.

We ordered 8 galvanised crowd barriers . On delivery we noted as did the driver wet silver paint on the barriers ,he gave us wipes to remove this as we helped unload. Whilst in situ the problem has become dire as our customers even brush against them they have silver marks on their clothing. Having flagged the problem with photos to the company ,nothing!! having bought the same from other companies in the past we have never encountered this problem before .The spars also are loose and rattle . Very poor product.

I wanted to order a piling shackle but when I was told the carriage charge would be £69.99. I was flabbergasted I could have had it transported from them to Manchester by taxi cheaper

Ordered 20 barriers on next day deliver and they did not arrive, it cost me two guys @ 2 hours time & half waiting to off load, tried calling at 4.55pm no reply, I emailed asking for the delivery costs to be returned as they said it would be delivered yesterday, they said they would only refund the difference between 24 & 48 hrs, as we are currently on furlough and this would have meant bringing in two guys again at an additional cost this was unacceptable, they said their transport would not refund the cost of delivery even though they said it was their fault, the order was cancelled and still waiting in a refund. We are a motorcycle training school and had the DVSA coming out to authorise a new PAD and these were vital for this check test, disappointed is the nice word, it’s not the errors we make in business, it’s the way we correct them

For a company that asks on invoices to 'please get in touch about the quality of our service and how we can improve.' They really don't care much. I was informed by your people on Monday the 12th that my delivery would be made yesterday the 13th and that I should be available to receive it 8am to 5pm. I said to please give my mobile number to the delivery people if there are any issues. As I am a motorcycle instructor I brought in labour to be my office to take collection yesterday from 8am onward. When I had to ring yesterday afternoon at 16:30 I was informed firstly by your “Lea” she could not get through to the transport people and when she rang back that there would be no delivery. It has cost me money. I stated that I have paid for next day, she said you would amend the invoice to a lower delivery charge. I see from the invoice this is not the case. My first delivery with you went really well that is why I ordered again but the second one was pathetic. Poor service and Lea of ever she was had a could not care less attitude. I asked them in a email to look into how you can make this right! Nothing on the second day of delivery. I now have to invest more to go to office to wait for this delivery today as it was said it would be a PM delivery on my insistence. The second day of delivery no - delivery. I then had to deal with Charlotte - who is the customer services manager. Who seem to know very little of service and less of customers. It was more important for her to blame their delivery subcontractor. She could get through and then gave me the hollow assurance that she would ring be back by 5 pm to inform me. How wonderfully kind. I asked them to have your management contact me to discuss the performance on this delivery. If you are small company - dont use these - your are wasting your time and your money. Use people that can actually deliver

Good product, crowd control fencing, but the delivery was a shambles (similar to the review below) absolute shocker. Three attempts to deliver and got charged for the privilege!

The 1st delivery was made with no date or time given, when the fencing arrived on site a call was made to come to site, unfortunately I was in a meeting and did not receive the call, the fencing was taken away. I rebooked (and paid again) for another delivery, the date was given as Friday 12th March, I took a day off work and sat on site until the afternoon, I telephoned late Friday afternoon to ask if the delivery would be made only to be told 'no it will be Monday now'... I was given a time slot of between 12 and 2pm on Monday 15th March, they arrived at 10:20am....
