I have been to a few Sainsbury's stores and I have noticed that some prices for the same item were different. Is this because of the location? If so, I am very disappointed with Sainsbury's.

ordered my online shopping on monday 26th February for delivery on Wed 28th Feb. This was just before the snow fell. My delivery was cancelled. I accepted this, and re-ordered for Friday 2nd march. The slot and delivery charge they gave me on that, was the most expensive, but one of the earliest. This was cancelled too. I couldn't understand it. Why would the first delivery be cancelled? I explained to Sainsbury that I was elderly and had next to no food in the house, but they treated this with a very cavalier attitude. I also explained that I had seen three other large store vans in the area. "Iceland" was delivering next door," Ocado" I could see from my bedroom window was delivering four doors away, and my daughter told me that "Asda" had delivered that morning in an adjoining road. When I mentioned this to the lady on the other end of the 'phone, she said and I quote "Maybe they have a different system to us" What different system? An order and a delivery are one and the same arn't they! in any online company. I have since left Sainsbury, and have registered with online grocery with one of the other Companies I saw delivering that snowy day.

Some product i purchased was in spoiled condition as there was a manufacturing fault. i returned the product and asked the Sainsbury's staff to do something about the rest of the stock as others will also suffer with the bad taste.. they asked me instead to raise a complaint giving a number and if i do that i won;t get my refund in the store and will have to wait for the complaint to be addressed and get a refund voucher. Question is then, why are you there if you can't contact the companies you keep stock of?

Terrible, tasteless finest meal; Who on earth comes up with the recipes? This was Beef stroganoff and apple crumble--- won't risk buying anything else, I don't often visit Sainsbury's as find them expensive-- I don't mind paying for quality-- but this was an expensive mistake!

Too many fresh items delivered with very short use by dates - just two of us with 14 items with 4+ days to use. A whole chicken, several packs of meat (2/4 chops) and fish, fresh vegetables, etc. Perhaps we should have a party and they should send along someone to cook it all!!! Terry

checkout cashier puts goods thru like she is going for a world record and when you are struggling to keep pace with your packing she then demands your nectar card then her and the queue stand looking at the mug trying to catch up and you suddenly become the floor show. NEVER AGAIN

When a local "cheaper" store closed for renovations prices magically went up, not by much, perhaps 3p to 5p but the management/staff knew there wasnt another store nearby they had a captive audience and thought it was acceptable to raise prices. Now that the "cheaper" store has re-opened, prices have reverted back to normal prices.

I've had to make a complaint to sainsburys 3 times in the last month, the first time I ordered some chicken thighs and kegs but got only legs the 2nd there delivery felt the need to demand to see my Identification even though I've been ordrink with them for month's and the 3rd time I ordered some mayonnaise and it was like water but on this occasion they couldn't even be bothered to respond to me! That's how good there customer service is, I don't know how that company has survived so long

It seems Sainsbury's find it acceptable to deliver fresh chickens which need to be used within one or two days of purchase. I have called customer services each time this has happened and they have glady issued a voucher for the full cost of purchase (now 3 times!). I was also told that Sainsburys policy is to send out fresh produce regardless of the next day use by date if that's all that is left on the shelf. However what I would like is a 'fresh' chicken with a a use buy date of at least 5 days. Tesco manage to do this and won't deliver the item unless they can guarantee freshness. It's about time sainsburys adopted the same policy. I now buy frozen meat from sainsburys instead - come on, get your act together!!!

Overall the shopping experience has always been good. However, I can't see how they can justify the constant increase in prices, especially on local products. I don't accept Brexit as an excuse.

I purchased some red wine which was on offer at £5 per bottle. When it was delivered the price had gone up and it had been put through at £5.25p per bottle. I rang to query how this had happened but was told that if the price changes on the day of delivery then you will be charged the extra amount. So basically if you buy anything on offer, and it goes up on the day of delivery, you will be charged the larger amount. I was told that this will happen so will not be using Sainsbury's online any more!!!

Bought 2 packets of Taste the Difference crackers for cheese to use over the holiday period. Most of first packet went in the bin and the whole of the other because they tasted like poorly flavoured cardboard! Very disappointing for an expensive product. M and S far superior!

Absolutely farcical. I never bother with online shopping but Sainsburys had sent me a money off voucher and a free delivery pas so i thought why not....... Shouldn't have bothered. Had to phone 3 or 4 tines trying to get these vouchers on and eventually i just told them to cancel it as life is too short for that kind of nonsense. Never again. Ill add that the staff on the phone were lovely but that's no use if the orders wrong.

Well my delivery was booked for between 8 - 9pm, I got a call at 8 on the dot, to say the driver was at my house and I wasn't there, I told them I would be about 5 mins. When I got home at 8.10 the driver was putting my shopping back in the lorry, I said excuse me I'm here, sorry I'm late but got held up, he said too bad your too late. I don't expect to be spoken to like that when I'm spending my hard earned money by a driver

Sainsbury's online have rubbish packers. Not sure why I go back... well, partly because of their own brand nappies. Trouble is they've only delivered one pack, when I asked for two, and according to the receipt everything was in the order. And then there are the three times they've delivered the wrong cat food while still charging for the more expensive one. And... ah well
