Usually everything I need can be found at my local Sainsbury's. If any item I have bought is faulty or not good enough, the staff at customer service have been generous and friendly, which does not often happen at other supermarkets I have used.

Sainsbury are very good by and large but I find it totally dishonest for them to shout out that they are reducing the price of their milk to compete with Tesco, when the price of 4 pints has been £1.45 up until my last order on 21st March. They have now upped the price on the website to £1.65 just so that they can say they have reduced it. I DONT THINK THAT IS FAIR OR TRUTHFUL.

Previous review incorrect re. smartshop prices. Savings on your shop will appear in the nectar app. yes the nectar app. as a discount voucher against the next shop in Sainsburys. Apply voucher by selecting voucher at till when paying. Four stars for not making this clear in info. about app.

Sainsbury´s are the most affordable supermarket with a good range of organic produce. Their customer service has never let me down and I rarely have to queue for more than a couple of minutes.

I regularly buy Ciabatta rolls for our lunchtime sandwiches. Today (27 Jan) I find they have reduced the size by (at least) 25%. That equates to a 30% increase in price ---- and now the rolls are too small for a decent sandwich. I have always recognised that Sainsburys are more expensive but this is rediculous.

In Grimsby store staff are excellent. Gentleman says hello as you walk in and it is a good gesture. Not always there but most of the time. Staff on the tills friendly and as for the cafe staff are really good as well. Very hygienic and trolleys inside the shop already been cleaned but still supply sterilizer for trolley and baskets handles as well as hands. A couple of niggles..it is bad that they expect you to buy one of their bags for veg ( mesh type bag ) so I put them loose in the trolley or basket. When it came to brussel sprouts it was a bit of a problem as you cannot price them seperately and holes in trolley and basket ( nuisance ..lol ) so I grabbed a brown bag and it said mushrooms on it so I got told off at the till...( always one grumpy member of staff, she weighed them just the same ) I nearly " rolled over " laughing even though she was serious. A big niggle is tht they have stopped doing two different flavours of soup..used to be one for vegetarians and another for non vegetarians..very popular in the past

I normally have my groceries delivered on a Tuesday afternoon when possible. Received my delivery earlier today and was so grateful that the driver was the same gentleman who bought my groceries last week. Normally the customer is left to pack all the items they ordered themselves and as quickly as possible which can be difficult for elderly and disabled adults. However LUKE MAC who delivered to my address again today is not only a very polite and friendly driver but also is more than happy to help pack the shopping which is super helpful (I only have full use of one arm due to having my left shoulder surgically fused years ago) and he has been the only driver since March 2020 who has offered this service with a huge friendly smile 😁. Good job LUKE MAC your kindness is very much appreciated. The only reason I gave 4 stars is purely due to the lack of help from other delivery drivers!! EASTBOURNE, EAST SUSSEX.

We shop in Sainsburys in Grimsby rather than other supermarkets. They use sterilizer on the trolley handles and put them inside the entrance ready to use, and then they have hand and more trolley sanitiser when you go instore. The staff asked those selfish people who breath down your neck to please keep a distance. They are friendly and sometimes a gentleman welcomes you and says hello when you arrive and it is a great gesture . There was a wonky table once and my husband spilt hot soup on himself due to it. (The manageress or supervisor ) and cafe staff could not apologise enough and gave him a new pair of jeans to change into and of course they were free. They have recently re-opened the cafe and we sat and had a drink but the tabe we sat at was a wonky one so we will mention it to one of them if we sit at another one. They all know us now and we have a laugh and joke with them. Just a couple of annoying things. The soup and bread roll is lovely and popular as long as they have a choice of two and one is suitable for vegetarians BUT they don't do any sandwiches with just tuna without the cheese ! They cannot prepare you one as already pre-packed. I cannot eat cheese or egg. I don't understand why they did not have vegetarian sausage buns either . Again, they sell these sausages so what's the problem ? Please start doing these and even vegan cheese on the tuna sandwiches. The other thing is when I buy items on click and collect. When returning items there is always a problem..either the staff cannot work the new system they have or and with or without that I have had to make a phone call to prove I returned all the items listed and it says there is one missing. I ask for a printed receipt but they tell me I will get an e-mail. Stop the moaning..I can stop ordering click and collect if I want to !! What I would like to say is that we give praise to Angela who works in the cafe as she is very attentive and busy. They all are, but she seems to be a bit more forthcoming. Well done Sainsburys..apart from click and collect and the wonky chair..check them all. See you soon

I live in Leyton,East London and I frequently shop in my local small Sainsburys on Leyton High Rd. The shop assistants and managers are always smiley, knowledgeable and ready to help. Farhur, Ricky, and Moussafer are particularly friendly, kind and helpful. The shop is very clean and the lay out of the products is always well done. Great little supermarket for the essentials.

In September I called in Sainsbury's Rowley Regis to get fuel, although there is a sign in the kiosk asking customers to wear a face covering the majority ignored this and were not asked by staff to wear one (it seems normal there) and the area has a spike in Covid cases I wonder why. If these people want to ignore the regulations the company should close the kiosk and people should pay via a night window why can't the Company see this solution? I complained to customer services after complaining to Resolver and was told they will look into the matter but will not inform me of the outcome, a complete whitewash in my opinion. It took over a month and Sainsbury's hadn't responded hence my call to customer services. My advice go elsewhere I won't go to any branch of this firm again.

I was served by David at the Kidlington and considering the current atmosphere you get in other shops such being told to stand in boxes, out of boxes or on markers. David was polite and had a genuine conversation with me which was refreshing as some staff treat you as though you have the plague.

Had deliveries from Sainsbury’s at Monks Cross in York and I must say I am impressed with their service. Ok some items were out of stock but in many cases substituted for other brands. Initially they contacted me as they had identified us as vulnerable people. The delivery driver was extremely cautious and was obviously following a set health procedure. This store was not my main one but as they have come up with the goods in this difficult time I will be giving them more business in the future.

Owing to being disabled, Andover 80 I have been using your on line service for some time and have Been more, than satisfied with the whole procedure I was so upset and disappointed when today I couldn't get slot until after 6th April ui ky order what I need to see me through the week. I think the attitude of the majority of the population is totally unacceptably Where's the good will and, caring for your neighbours? . I now, rely on the help of my closest neighbours
