I wanted to share a recent experience I had that truly highlighted the exceptional customer service at Sainsbury's petrol store in Middleton.
On October 27th, I was leaving Manchester and stopped at the Middleton petrol station to top up my car with petrol. Unfortunately, on my way home, my car broke down. When I consulted my garage, they asked whether I had put petrol or diesel into the car, creating some uncertainty.
In a moment of distress, I decided to call Sainsbury's petrol store, and I was fortunate to speak with Abdi. He went above and beyond to assist me, providing thorough explanations of the steps he was taking to help resolve the issue. His assistance was invaluable, and I was truly grateful for his dedication.
Abdi then transferred the call to Debs, the supervisor, who assured me that she would call me back promptly. Her commitment to addressing the situation further emphasized the customer-centric approach of the staff.
As it turned out, the initial report suggested that I had put diesel in the car. However, thanks to the unwavering support and outstanding customer service from Abdi and Debs, I felt confident that the issue would be resolved.
This experience has reaffirmed my belief that the Sainsbury's petrol store in Middleton places a high priority on customer satisfaction. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated by Abdi and Debs are commendable, and I wanted to express my gratitude for their exceptional service.

“Brilliant service. Had my order delivered for myself and my mum. The driver stacked things at the doorway with consideration and waited for my husband to move them. He was very friendly and professional. I order from sainsburys each month and am very happy with the service I receive.

“I am surprised and very pleased with the 2 sweaters that I bought last spring at the Watchmoor Park store. I have just started to wear them. They look great and feel exceptionally soft and warm. One is off-white with cherry/strawberry applique at the front and the other has an animal print pattern at the front on light grey base colour and a flattering diagonal line across the front. I don't usually buy clothes at a supermarket but these caught my eye at the time and I am delighted with them. From now on I will be doing a detour from the food shelves to the clothes! You won't see a TU labels in the jumpers because I always cut out labels from new clothes if they are scratchy. Anyway, thank you Sainsbury's!”
“Having shopped online with Sainsbury’s for many years, have experienced the most ‘challenging’ substitutes ! And to be fair the delivery staff have been polite,courteous friendly and helpful.
But following a phone call querying refund on substitutes, I will never shop with Sainsbury’s again. The male’ colleague ‘ was rude, patronising and aggressive,asked to speak to a manager, he said there weren’t any availability,
I insisted, guess what happened next put me on hold for 10 minutes then cut me off.
So I phoned back got through to a female‘colleague’, who was able to resolve the refund in minutes.
The refund will lie in my account for the two years it is valid, as I will not be activating my account ever again.
So another’valued customer’ lost !”
“Have been a Sainsburys customer for years, although I use other supermarkets as well. I usually get on line orders/deliveries and have not once had a problem. Occasionally items aren’t in stock but that’s not the end of the world. Had an order delivered today and can’t fault the driver or the order at all. The driver was really friendly and professional. I do think you should have an option to give feedback on the deliveries. Those drivers deserve it. Anyway. I’m just outside of Chippenham and I believe my deliveries come from Swindon? I just wanted to say I’m very happy with everything and that the driver was A+++++++. Thanks”
“Great vegan range and am informed of offers and deals which are great. They are very good informing of ingredients in their products, helpful with allergies- also have soya free! Home delivery- great service. Good prices and good communication in advance if they have to replace products. Definitely recommend.”
