What an amazing team at the Sainsbury's store in Colwick, Nottinghamshire yesterday! I was concerned because my Nectar card was showing a large negative balance and I knew that I hadn't spent any of my points - and also that I would not have been able to cash in more points than I had accumulated. When I showed this to the person on the till last week they said they had never seen a negative balance and suggested I speak to Customer Services. The Customer Services employee said they didn't have access to Nectar information but gave me the number to contact Nectar directly, which I did. The Nectar team were able to pinpoint the exact time that 8000 Nectar points had been deducted from my account and asked me to return to Sainsbury's so that they could check their cameras. Unfortunately, when I raised this with Customer Services in store yesterday, the date of the incident was too long ago for them still to retain their camera evidence and so they suggested that I contact Nectar again. They agreed to listen in to the conversation. By this time the Duty Manager was involved as was the Security man. This phone call was where things became difficult. The person in the fraud department at Nectar claimed that the problem was Sainsbury's and not Nectar's and wouldn't speak to anyone other than the Store Manager. He refused to speak to the Duty Manager who was with me and, no matter what anyone said to him, kept repeating that it was Sainsbury's problem, not his. The Store Manager was then summoned and took over. The man at Nectar again refused to accept any responsibility. After some fruitless discussion the Store Manager ended the call but said she would escalate the issue separately. She then offered me a gift token to the value of the points which had been stolen from me. Despite my saying that I thought it better to get resolution from Nectar first, she insisted that I took this, for which I am very grateful. £80 value is a lot to lose! Not only did they do all they could to help me, but the whole team were so supportive and kind to me, a pensioner, and someone well out of my depth with technology. The Customer Services person then proceeded to destroy my old Nectar card, uninstall my Nectar app and then to activate a new card and reinstall the app. I really appreciate the level of care I received and the way that the team managed to keep other Customer Services customers needs cared for in a timely manner whilst all this was happening. So - a huge round of applause for the management team at Sainsbury's, Colwick - Jane, Andrea, Charlotte, Megan and Aaron. A very sincere thank you from a very grateful old lady.

I am a very regular shopper at the Sainsbury’s store on Rushgreen Road in Lymm, Cheshire. This is a very friendly shop with excellent customer care. I would like to thank Kerry, Barbara and Rachel and the rest of the staff.

I have only just started to order a delivery service from Sainsburys. I thought it would be more expensive than the other supermarkets, but I think that the prices are about the same as other Supermarkets, depending on what you need. The delivery men are superb. The man I had the other day was so cheerful and helpful that it really and truly made my day. I am disabled and he brought my shopping into the kitchen and unloaded it. We chatted and he was genuinely friendly . I will keep shopping around as I only have a pension, but I think I will try Sainsburys as first choice .

6.55pm on a very dark and icy November night. Weather had deteriorated severely since ordering our delivery online. We fully expected a call to say that it could not be delivered as our cottage is 500metres down a gated track….. how impressed we were with our driver who had parked at the top of the lane and carried all our groceries to our door ! And still had a smile and a cheery few words. Brilliant service !

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE... I wanted to share a recent experience I had that truly highlighted the exceptional customer service at Sainsbury's petrol store in Middleton. On October 27th, I was leaving Manchester and stopped at the Middleton petrol station to top up my car with petrol. Unfortunately, on my way home, my car broke down. When I consulted my garage, they asked whether I had put petrol or diesel into the car, creating some uncertainty. In a moment of distress, I decided to call Sainsbury's petrol store, and I was fortunate to speak with Abdi. He went above and beyond to assist me, providing thorough explanations of the steps he was taking to help resolve the issue. His assistance was invaluable, and I was truly grateful for his dedication. Abdi then transferred the call to Debs, the supervisor, who assured me that she would call me back promptly. Her commitment to addressing the situation further emphasized the customer-centric approach of the staff. As it turned out, the initial report suggested that I had put diesel in the car. However, thanks to the unwavering support and outstanding customer service from Abdi and Debs, I felt confident that the issue would be resolved. This experience has reaffirmed my belief that the Sainsbury's petrol store in Middleton places a high priority on customer satisfaction. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated by Abdi and Debs are commendable, and I wanted to express my gratitude for their exceptional service. Date of experience: 03 November 2023

Brilliant service. Had my order delivered for myself and my mum. The driver stacked things at the doorway with consideration and waited for my husband to move them. He was very friendly and professional. I order from sainsburys each month and am very happy with the service I receive. WELL DONE SAINSBURYS AND MANY THANKS 😊

The delivery guy on Saturday 5th August who brought my elderly mother's shopping (Bedford) was amazing. So cheery and polite. Nothing was too much trouble - such a brilliant man!

Having recently had a knee operation I explained this in the Special Instructions box when doing an on line order, asking the Delivery Driver to take the delivery boxes to my kitchen. I must thank ALL the delivery people for their kindness in delivering my order to my kitchen. It was such a help to me,so THANKYOU Sainsbury's.

I would like to leave feedback about my delivery driver, Mark Valentine in Dundee. He was an ABSOLUTE GENTLEMAN! Nothing was too much trouble for him. Not only did he pack my shopping in the bags outside my door, he noticed my stairwell light wasn't working and offered to change the bulb for me! He went above and beyond, and this grateful pensioner can't thank him enough, or praise him highly enough, an excellent ambassador for Sainsbury's!

The review is for AJ, the delivery driver in Nottingham, who has just come out of his way to deliver my order-THANK YOU! The call centre service was poor, though and led to confusion and irritation at their lack of comprehension of the situation-let me know if you need any further feedback about their soft skills. I am surprised and very pleased with the 2 sweaters that I bought last spring at the Watchmoor Park store. I have just started to wear them. They look great and feel exceptionally soft and warm. One is off-white with cherry/strawberry applique at the front and the other has an animal print pattern at the front on light grey base colour and a flattering diagonal line across the front. I don't usually buy clothes at a supermarket but these caught my eye at the time and I am delighted with them. From now on I will be doing a detour from the food shelves to the clothes! You won't see a TU labels in the jumpers because I always cut out labels from new clothes if they are scratchy. Anyway, thank you Sainsbury's!
