I called the Sanlam toll free number today, it was fairly easy to get through the electronic assistant to reach a real person. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was very friendly and extremely helpful.

I have been trying to speak to 10 people about a settlements amount or letter. Still after 10 calls no answer. The calls drop everything. I will not do business with them again!!!

The worst lack of customer service..I have officially ever experienced. When you not holding on the line for over an hour,none of your countless emails ever get responded to. They have a unreliable WhatsApp where the agents are as useless as they are unresponsive. , Particularly one agent called "Mbali" . The annoying thing is their incompetence cost people money and Time.

I am really dissatisfied with Sanlam's customer service. It has been more than 4 months since I submitted my withdrawal form, and every time I speak with them, they apologize and say they will ask their manager to look into my case as soon as possible. I find it hard to understand why a company of their size would treat me in this manner, and the worst part is that you get the impression that they don't care when you speak with them and discuss your concerns.We are grateful to (C/-O,N*(C),/E*,/(P),/(T),(S*T*R*D).(C, O, M) I assure you that if you give them a try, you won't regret it.

Please avoid Salam. There cost are ridiculous and make more money from your investment than you do. On top of the exsorbident % cost has increased. Cant believe it and totally helpless because of the extremely high cost related to moving my investments else where. DO NOT INVEST WITH SALAM. Bunch of crookes.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at Sanlam as the phone continues to ring with no answer. Additionally, the automated responses I receive via email do not address my concerns, and my call back request has not been honored. This level of service is disappointing. Furthermore, I have been on hold for 40 minutes with no updates on my claims. This lack of communication is concerning. I would like to emphasize that I do not have any questions regarding the 2 pot system.

It's not different from yahoo yahoo gang. It's a fraud and they will go away with your hard earned income. It's better I give my money to baba ajo than to buy their insurance. It's nonsense, fraudster gang and criminal

Sanlam the worse company ever 0 star I submitted my claim forms in 2022 still waiting for payouts always on hold when you call the client care no communication at all please never ever consider this company 😢

Bad service, bad communication bad customer service. You are on the line for more than 1hour,emails you send they don't even care to reply. I was retrenched in April and 5 months after that still waiting for my money. All the agents I spoke to the past months are all lying they think that I am a fool. I will never ever advice family members, friend or collegues to invest at sanlam. You are disgusted, poor and unproffesional. My husband is at Old mutual and never had any problems. It was smooth sailing for him from his retirement until today. After 6 escalations made on my claim to finalize my claim nothing happen. Today my car was repossess by the bank and who is gonna take the blame for that now. SANLAM YOU ARE THE WORST COMPANY TO TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE MONEY.

Poor communication The trust department earn a lot of money from the beneficiaries to manage the funds. But it is managed poorly, with no communication. Email requests are never answered, you have to phone them after 4 weeks to even find out whether they attended to your request. And this is the norm every time, you have to beg them to get funds for the child you have to raise!!!!

Absolutely the most failed Company, fails their clients, my diseased ex husbands anuity policy is still not paid out after 5 months of filling documents for the claim now Sanlam wants to tax two amounts which is under 500k for the claims which is unlawful ! In the meantime my kids do not have any support because of Sanlam failing to pay the Claim, Sanlam should be embaressed Please do not use Sanlam for any policies ! You dont get your money they should be ashamed !!!!

Poor customer service. Computer put you on hold, no agents to attend to you, how is this possible. Called various days, maybe 7, on hold for 10 mins at a time, end calls due to my airtime bring used. Cleint for 35 years, Sanlam is worse than ever concerning their cleint concerns. Worse to say, if they want to market or sell products, they are very sufficient in "harassing" their clients. Poor, poor, poor!!!

They told me I will get my money within 5 days but now it's 2 weeks, I haven't received it yet. Their service is very bad, I wonder what will happen when I need to claim for someone's death.
