“I am mostly pleased with the custom kilt I ordered - the fabric is correct as is the elastic waistband (I have Parkinson's Disease thus find fastening a standard kilt very difficult); the fact that the kilt is a little too small I will address with a local tailor. (I had thought perhaps I had provided incorrect measurements, but I double-checked the measurements I provided and they were correct.) The process of receiving the kilt, however, was excruciatingly frustrating. I placed my order nearly 45 days before I received it; even allowing an extra week for the custom waistband, this was still 23 days longer than it should have been. Worse still, when I inquired about the shipment status, a staff member told me that it had been shipped when the USPS was notified of the impending shipment, but USPS records show a week's delay between notification and shipment. In all, I am not sure I will order any more kilts from Scottish Kilt.”

“I ordered two weeks before Christmas with an 8-10 day ship time guarantee. It's now January 10th and I still haven't got it. Filed a complaint with PayPal trying to get my money back.”

“Shipping was fast - 8 days, length and waist fit correctly. But this is NOT an 8 yard kilt with deep pleats. In fact it measures 3.78 yards (less than 1/2 of what is described on the website). I have cheap cotton utility kilts with deeper pleats. Very disappointed with this as â€œmade of 8 yardsâ€? and â€œextra deep pleatsâ€? are the reasons that I ordered this kilt. Also I ordered a 9â€? fell but received only 7â€?. It is an OK kilt with reasonable quality, fit, and price - if it was described this way then it would be 5 stars. However, the description misrepresents the kilt which led to unfulfilled expectations and therefore disappointment.”
