I ordered and paid for the matching bag and it was not delivered with the kilt. Was told it was being shipped and it has not arrived. I have messaged several times with no reply back. I will be seeking a refund and file complaint if I don't receive what I paid for soon!

I ordered a kilt from Scottish kilt and the size doesn’t work for me. I contacted them through their chat system and left contact info to try and rectify the situation and get a size that fits, but it’s been more than a week and I’ve not heard anything back from them. I believe I will utilize a company that responds quicker, in the future.

The Earisaid and skirt arrive all good, but the sporran did not have the tartan on it that I'd paid extra for. I emailed them a picture of the sporran not having tartan on it, got no response for weeks, then got an email asking for a review, so emailed again in regards the issue, and still no response.

I ordered 2 items from this company, one being a sash. I was happy when I received them but then realized the sash was a scarf size. After many emails, even though it was their error, they insisted I pay for some of the shipping cost. VERY frustrating. Please also know that YOU must pay shipping on returns. By the way, the items are made in Pakistan and have an odour to them when you receive them.

I would like to say something positive, but I cannot. I measured my son 3 times for "the perfect fit." I went by your recommendations for fitting. I thought the sizing was off, but continued by your instructions. The kilt is about 3 inches too big, on the buckles tightest settings. It cannot be worn, as it slips right off of him. It is unwearable as is. I am very disappointed, as we were just in Scotland in October, my son is half Scottish, and was very excited that we purchased this for him, but quite disappointed that he cannot wear it. I am trying to find a tailor that can help me, so far no luck.

Good service Excellent workmanship Nice leather (I bought the Viiking Leather Gothic kilt) That said, I do hesitate to order again because I think this kilt was misrepresented. It’s Possibly a Halloween costume- doesn’t even go all the way around. The fit is almost perfect around the waist, but below the waist is, how to say, simply, no kilt, just underware, rather like half of a kilt…..,,and NO belt loops. See what I mean? I’m thinking of ordering another one and sewing them together, but I think I should get a discount for the second one, don’t you?

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you’re happy with the service, workmanship, and leather quality. Regarding the fit, all of our kilts are made to measure based on the customer's provided measurements. If the length feels short, it may be due to the measurements submitted at the time of order. We’re always happy to assist with sizing guidance before purchase to ensure the best fit. If you’re considering ordering another one, please feel free to reach out—we’d love to help find the right solution for you.

The kilt and sash in Montgomery plaid, arrived from Pakistan with courteous updates and great customer service. Sadly the odor of chemicals when opened the package made me ill within an hour. Headache and nausea - I was afraid to wash the fabric, and the dry cleaner did not want to take it. It seemed “stiff” with impregnated “something”. As I am allergic to chemicals, I am trying to get a refund. Have noted the USA return address on the east coast, also called the number connected to it and actually spoke with a live person - who responded to my email. My case is being reviewed - but as I cannot give these away or wear them myself, I will be sending them the east coast return address within a week, so that the odor can be experienced first hand. I am disappointed - and saddened to write this. I note that others have had a similar experience. If using a chemical is standard to prevent damage to the fabric - i suggest the manufacturer stops this - it is not acceptable and very very unpleasant. Sincerely and sorry to feel I need to write this review.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the kilt and sash. Please be assured that no chemicals are used in the production of our kilts. The odor you mentioned could likely be from the acrylic yarn dyeing process, which can sometimes carry a temporary scent. We recommend soaking the fabric in mild soapy water for a while to remove any smell, and baking soda can also help eliminate odors. If you’re still not satisfied, we are more than happy to process a refund for your order. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope we can resolve this to your satisfaction.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that on our website, we specify that Scottish Kilt is a Brooklyn, NY-based company with a dedicated manufacturing facility in Sialkot, Pakistan. This facility is fully owned by us, and we uphold strict labor laws and a no child labor policy. We take pride in maintaining transparency about our operations and hope this clears up any concerns.

Came in very late. It took about two months to deliver. Came in about 3” short. Looks like a mini skirt on me. I definitely could not post it on social media. Other than that it was well made and the tartan was correctly patterned.

Thank you for your feedback. In your Bespoke Kilt order, you requested a length of 17", which was followed as per your specifications. Additionally, this was the second time the order was made, as the first one is still pending with customs. We had also kept you updated on the status throughout the process. We're glad you found the craftsmanship and tartan pattern satisfactory. We appreciate your understanding and are always here to assist with any further adjustments.

If the fit and finish of what I ordered wasn't so good, I would only be giving Scottish Kilt one star. I ordered my kilt outfit on the 24th of December, and I paid extra for a "10 to 14 days" rush order. I didn't receive my kilt until the 25th of January, when I needed it for a formal function on the 27th. I contacted Scottish Kilt through their website a couple of times to check on the status, and was promised to be contacted back to let me know if my order was going to be delivered on time. However, I was never contacted. That said, the Kilt and outfit fit perfectly and was crafted well. Your support team, and promises to deliver need to be revamped however. I paid extra for The Rush order, just in case I needed to have the outfit altered. Thankfully that was not necessary. But the promised Rush order was absolutely not fulfilled. I will not therefore be doing business with Scottish Kilt in the future.

I wordered way in advance of a wedding. I was told the horse hair sporran was out of stock. I asked them to refund my money which did not happen. They sent the sporran which upon putting it on and opening it, the button came apart. Cheap! I am very disappointed in the quality of the items received. So I had no sporran to wear!

I requested a tracking number 3 times, my order was late for Christmas, and I did not receive any customer support follow ups. The product is beautiful and fit perfectly to measurements, but the shipment process was a nightmare.

It's unfortunate that this probably reflects more on DHL than it does Scottish Kilt, but at the end of the day it's Scottish Kilt that owns this. Worst courier service ever, consistently. Always unexpected additional charges, communicating via text messaging which looks the same as 90% of the fraudulent texts I get regularly. They opened my package, and I know they did because they repacked it by completely wrapping it in an atrocious yellow tape with DHL's name all over it. I purchased bagpipes and a separate carrying bag. I only purchased the bag because Scottish Kilt's website doesn't give any indication whatsoever that the bagpipes come with one already. Turns out that they do, so that was basically a waste of $15 for me but at least a I have spare bag, right? Well, not so much really because those friggin idiots at DHL who opened my package decided to plunge their box cutter all the way through into my spare bag, which they also removed from the original plastic bag it was packed in and did not put it back. Not much point putting it back into the protective plastic bag after destroying it I suppose. I did report this pretty much immediately to Scottish Kilt, if for no other reason than to let the company know about the quality they're providing with their choice of courier and the response was basically "gee that's too bad, but please let us know if you have any other issues". It's only $15, right?...

I was expecting a quality kilt made in Scotland. I received a good fitting kilt made of material that looks and feels like cheap polyester with a lable that says "Made in Pakistan". I expected better.

Kilt was perfect but the accessories were not delivered and when requested some were not able to be sent and the others took quite a while to come.

The kilt was improperly made to the size measurements I asked for, and customer service was iffy at best. I received a kilt with multiple stitching issues and fitment problems that I had to pay to be fixed. I would not recommend it to anyone else.
