“I am mostly pleased with the custom kilt I ordered - the fabric is correct as is the elastic waistband (I have Parkinson's Disease thus find fastening a standard kilt very difficult); the fact that the kilt is a little too small I will address with a local tailor. (I had thought perhaps I had provided incorrect measurements, but I double-checked the measurements I provided and they were correct.) The process of receiving the kilt, however, was excruciatingly frustrating. I placed my order nearly 45 days before I received it; even allowing an extra week for the custom waistband, this was still 23 days longer than it should have been. Worse still, when I inquired about the shipment status, a staff member told me that it had been shipped when the USPS was notified of the impending shipment, but USPS records show a week's delay between notification and shipment. In all, I am not sure I will order any more kilts from Scottish Kilt.”

“The denim kilt was a huge disappointment. First of all, it wasn't denim. It was a blue fabric, But bore zero resemblance in color or texture to the fabric jeans are made of. Secondly, the back pleats stick out at an unflattering angle. They don't hang properly and look like he's trying to hide that he has two tails. The front is cut well and we like the detachable sprorran substitute. But this is not the kilt I wanted to give him. It was a big holiday disappointment.”

“I paid like $20 to had pockets to the kilt I ordered, but the pockets weren't added so i was charged extra for something I didn't receive. Even though I sent in correct measurements, the kilt came too small. I ordered a 34 but what I got was either a 29 or 30. I'm unhappy with how this purchase turned out, but I haven't lost faith in the Scottish kit shop.”

“I bought my first kilt from another company and it was possible to adjust 2 inches in the waist with the help of extra buttons, and their kilt did not have a paper reinforcement at the waist to keep it straight unlike yours it was possible to wash it in water. Delivery time is a joke, having to pay more to get the order in a week, it was not needed at allkilts.com. The only thing you were better at was the total price but now I see why and I will not order any thing more from you. The sporran that I ordered was the worst crap I ever seen. Cheap junk simply. Nor will I recommend you to my friends or acquaintances.”

“I really like the fabric of the product and how it is made. Unfortunately, the waist is too wide and the hip is too tight, so I'll have to send it back and hope that you will change it, so it fits me 100%.”

“The site as noted elsewhere is easy to move through. Please be aware in the special offers section; although it doesn't say so, only one special offer per order. The initial products ordered have not been shipped after 6 weeks. I have already had requests to rate products I haven't received. Although the staff answered the queries I had it often took over a day for a response and it didn't appear they answered my email; I needed to put an additional comment on the order. I acknowledge I was probably a difficult customer but I found the most recent message from them rude in tone. I will leave reviews of the products when they arrive but needed to say this was a frustrating experience.”
