“I have very mixed thoughts on this shop. I placed a total of 3 orders. The first 2 were very good. I got exactly what I ordered in about 4 weeks. My 3rd order was placed on Jan 19,2024 at the 4 week mark I contacted them about my order as a follow up. 2 ladies skirts were ready and 2 were not. They agreed to a partial shipment of the 2 completed items with the other 2 to follow soon after. The partial order arrived 1 skirt was not wearable. Completely unsatisfactory workmanship. I contacted them they said they would replace it when they completed the remaining items. Was told to expect in a couple of more weeks but no specific date as they were in weaving. Ok it is now May 3rd 2024 and still no products. They made a pre shipment label back in the middle of April. Still waiting and am never ordering from here again. Ridiculous.”

“Ordered a kilt outfit for St. Patrick's Day this year, paid for express shipping and rush order. Received the order and they shipped the wrong tartan. Wanted to replace the order with the tartan I ordered, but it would not be here in time for St. Patrick's Day. I asked for a full refund once they told me it would not be here in time, which seemed to blow their mind and then they offered a partial refund. I gave them until the end of the week to issue the refund, which they did not, so I filed a dispute with my bank.”

“A couple big issues with my order. I ordered a 9 yard great kilt fabric. I did not order a modern tailored kilt. I will have to salvage what I have and see if it can be retailored. I also ordered a Scottish kilt and I received a Pakistani "kilt" made and shipped from Pakistan. I would not have ordered if I knew that. It also had $100 extra shipping and handling that only came into play after I ordered. I do not recommend buying from here.”

“J'ai commandé un SPORRAN qui a mis un mois à arriver donc après les fêtes de Noël . l'objet contenait une sacoche et une chaîne pour l'accrocher sur le kilt .il n'y avait pas de chaîne Dans le paquet . Quand j'ai écrit a SCOTTISHKILT pour leur dire ils m'ont dit si si il y a une chaîne. donc aujourd'hui j'ai une sacoche et je me suis débrouillé pour l'accrocher sur mon kilt très déçu de ce site je ne recommandrai plus dessus ?”

“Great fabric. Disappointed because we choose olive color and we assume the sewing will be matching color. But its not, its ORANGE ! really!? If I knew I would have choose an other color...”

“HORRIBLE service. The overseas customer support team located in India had no idea any email correspondence had taken place regardsing availablity of the material. I did not receive all the products I ordered. Nor did they read my special request reqarding the shoes.”

“I ordered an item for christmas the 11th november and expressivly asked the chat to be sure it will arrive in time. It arrived on the 27th december. I was very disapointed. It is not only the transoprter responsability, the product was noticed ready extremly late.”

“Horrible company. Do not buy from them. Lied about shipping times. Arrived late and parts were missing. After several messages back and forth, they ghosted. They will not respond and will not honor their promise of refunds. I repeat, do not buy from these people. Got balls to ask for a review. Be better to customers.”

“Irish Flute was delivered, but there was a piece of the flute that had detached. I immediately contacted Scottish Kilt to determine a solution and they offered to send a replacement. That was on December 11th. Today is Jan. 1 and there has been NO replacement received. The only correspondence has been that they are out of stock and will send one when available. This was to be a Christmas gift for my grand daughter. I am very disappointed.”

“I ordered a new kilt hose and flashes and a new thistle belt buckle for Saint Andrews Day. I allowed for 30 days delivery time, and they didn’t arrive on time, prolonged delivery. Once I received the items, they were of inferior quality. The kilt flashes were identical to the set I purchased from Amazon. com The belt buckle was assembled upside down and made of the cheapest pot metal. There were blemishes covering the face of the belt. I was too embarrassed to wear it. The socks were cheap acrylic; the elastic gave out after an hour. Again, you could buy them elsewhere for half the price. They were not the epitome of craftsmanship. They were cheap mass produced crap The only difference is that Scottish Kilt charged me three times what I would have paid on Amazon.com. I suspect they purchased all of these items from Amazon.com, repackaged them, and then shipped them to me. I feel the the Scottish kilt company did not deliver or live up to the expectations set forth by their websites descriptions”

“They made up their own version of our Tartan. What's the point of a tartan if it doesn't match the rest of the Clan? They were unable to tell me where they got the idea that's what colors were in MY tartan either. They just made it up. There's a silky liner in the waist area of the kilt, so it slips off and the straps and buckles are to thin to keep the kilt up. Absolutely wait until you have money to buy a kilt from proper sources in the UK, not cheap knockoffs from these people.”

“Paid over 300$ for kilts, paid extra 30$ for fast delivery, didn't even get the promised "free shipping for orders above 200$" That was about 3 months ago, no parcel showed up. Asked -and still asking- for a refund, silence from the seller Don't buy here”

“I wish I could leave a good review, but I can't. I placed custom order in February for my WEDDING at the end of June and was being told weekly that the kilt would get there. I should have ordered from a different source when I had 1.5 months to go, but was told I would be there. Unfortunately, no kilt. They refunded me the kilt, but that doesn't replace having one and having to scramble for a suit to wear. Don't come here for your custom kilts.”

“3 commandes - 3 echecs 1 J’ai commandé mon premier kilt en juin 2023. Kilt 5 verges personnalisé. Au bout d’une semaine on m’a prévenu que le tartan n’était pas disponible. J’en ai choisi un autre, le kilt est arrivé 3 semaines après. Excellente qualité (bien que ma personnalisation n’est pas été prise en compte visiblement). 2 Pour le second kilt (noir, 9 verges, personnalisé), j’ai du les relancer au bout d’un mois car ma commande était toujours « non traitée » (mais bien payée !) et par miracle j’ai recu l’avis d’expedition le lendemain. J’ai reçu le kilt quelques jours après, bizarrement il est identique au kilt 5 verges et n’est pas personnalisé. Au moins la couleur est bonne. 3 (je persiste !) le 3 sept je commande un kilt 9 verges, personnalisé, payé. Le 29 je relance car aucune nouvelles. On me dit que le tartan n’est pas disponible ! Je patiente. Le 6 octobre je reçois un avis d’expédition avec un numéro de suivi qui n’existe pas ! J'ai finalement reçu le kilt fin octobre : beaucoup trop léger pour du 9 verges, le tissus ne "tombe" pas correctement, on dirait du amazon bas de gamme, mais les mesures sont bonnes. D’une manière générale leurs kilts sont très beaux, bien fait et tres bon marché. Mais les personnalisations ne sont pas prises en compte, le tissus 9 verge est décidément bien trop léger. Mon coeur hésite entre le mauvais travail ou l’arnaque pure et simple. On m’avait conseillé ce site (d’où ma persévérance) mais je crois que j’ai compris cette fois. A éviter.”

“Scammers. They advertise having a money back guarantee but they will make up a reason not to give your money back. They made my kilt wrong, asked me for extensive proof and then denied me.”

“Hi, I ordered some tartan ties for my daughter's wedding but unfortunately, they were unwearable. Much too long, much too stiff and extremely narrow. They were unlike anything resembling a necktie. I was really disappointed.”

“I have never had such a negative customer service experience. I ordered over $200 worth of merchandise and paid extra for express shipping. My items were shipped to the incorrect location not once but twice. I still have not received the items I purchased. I have been haggling with customer service for over a month and they refuse to offer any type of refund even though I still have not received any of the items I purchased. I sincerely urge anyone thinking about buying from this company to reconsider.”

“Im sorry I cant leave any positive review as of yet, since it appears DHL is holding my package hostage!, Ive repeatedly left contact info via email for the payment of duties , but all other forms of contact have failed..... they just keep sending the same post informing its held pending payment, with no option to view charges or make a payment, perhaps you could intervien”
