“The kid loves the bagpipes we got for him. Now we get to hear bagpipes and tuba playing through the house. Mom is less amused than I and the kids. ;) There was a question about shipping. A quick reach out to customer support answered what was going on. They replied late at night after I emailed, I was expecting a reply the next day. Quick and friendly response. Very appreciated.”

“I do not recommend Scottish Kilt at all. Communication is poor, and responses often conflict. I was promised a full refund for the item I ordered, then offered a partial refund. I currently have a case pending with PayPal.”

“Wow!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I received my MacQuarrie tartan kilt outfit on December 29th, which was the estimated delivery date. I was completely and pleasantly shocked and surprised at the quality, craftsmanship and perfect fit of everything in the package. Let me first say that back in 1998, I had an expert kilt maker order enough MacQuarrie Scottish wool tartan material to create a 16oz, 10-yard kilt for me, with flashes and a bow tie. It is a fine kilt that has lasted me well for all these years but is now starting to show signs of wear from being worn so often. Because I am an ordained minister of the Gospel and have a private wedding service business, I have often worn my full Scottish regalia, with kilt, Prince Charlie jacket and accessories, to serve as a wedding minister. This past year, I also began driving a bus for winery tours in the Niagara Region of Canada. I decided to wear a kilt as part of my tour guide outfit. So, to the delight of my many customers, I have started wearing a black utility kilt and tan safari shirt with kilt hose and military boots. When I saw your ads for tartan kilt outfits, (including 5yd kilt, matching tartan mask, white Jacobite Ghillie shirt, matching hose flashes, matching bow tie and a sporran with sporran belt) at such an incredibly low price, $140 U.S., I decided to take a chance and order a kilt from the Scottish Kilt Shop. I figured it didn't matter if it turned out to be a cheaply made kilt with poor workmanship because I would only be wearing it on a bus, and while walking about as a tour guide. Your price was so low, that I upgraded my order to make my kilt 9 from yards instead of 5 yards, for only $20 more. What a pleasant surprise I got when I received and opened my package from the Scottish Kilt Shop! I could tell by the weight if the unopened package in my hands, that I was not receiving a light-weight piece of junk, but Wow!... when I opened the package and saw the quality, and brilliant colour of my new kilt, flashes and bow tie, I was blown away!! I can hardly believe the clour, the weight, the precision weave, the quality leather buckles, the perfect fit, and the incredible workmanship of my new kilt and every other item in the package I will not be wearing this fantastic kilt when driving a tour bus. This new kilt is now my favourite dress kilt and I will proudly wear it to the finest events and functions I attend. I shall also be sharing this review with all my MacQuarrie clan members. “I had drama at first as I thought I’d cancelled the order. Struggled with contact & email. However the kilts did arrive prior to Christmas which was wonderful. You did say you’d send ties to match due to our earlier problems, but nothing yet??”
