“I just picked up my first tartan kilt and my third kilt from Scottish Kilt Shop. I bought this one to work with a sporran a friend made for me. The leather strap of the chain belt for that is a little thick where it buckles and it makes a bulge when connected, but outside of that, this is my favorite kilt from them so far. I also picked up a set of bagpipes from them. I can’t play bagpipes so I really shouldn’t be the review to asses them, but I couldn’t resist them at the price they sell them for. As far as I can tell it’s a nice set of pipes, and I’m looking forward to a time when I can make them sound like bagpipes instead of a cow in physical distress.”

“The kilt arrived exactly when expected and the quality was better than I could have hoped for. I actually ordered this one for a friend but the measuring instructions were great and the kilt fit perfectly. I'll be ordering another one for myself and possibly one for another friend.”

“The buttons on the kilt are hopeless. They are pop rivet type and so either fall apart or simply pull right through the kilt when you put it on. I can't even where it now so have got to send it to a tailor to have proper buttons sewn on. Real shame as rest of garment is fine. I don't understand why the makers spoiled the finished product with such a cheap and useless button. Shame.”

“First off, the kilt arrived within the time specified, even a little early. So that was really nice. I got it in time for my event. Secondly, when it arrived, the quality exceeded my wildest dreams. It's a a nice heavy fabric so the hang is good and solid. It doesn't pick up in a breeze. It's super comfortable. And it fits just right. Any negative review that discusses sizing issues invariably mentions that they ordered their pants size. DON'T. Read the measuring instructions. They work. Fill in all the fields. Use a measuring tape and measure at your navel. Measure at the widest point on your hips. Measure the space between your navel and your hips, and measure the overall length of the kilt. Don't use your waist where your pants sit. It won't work. For the price, this is the best product I could have asked for. I'm ordering another one and will be wearing them to formal occasions.”
