never ever use SCS it has been a very stressful 14 months of arguing and reordering replacement sofas . The fourth one was delivered on Monday 13 Feb 2017 and what a surprise damage again so refused it and rang store to them be told well steves nt in the reading store he away . Then today 15 Feb 2017 had a phonecall from a guy called Harry Asher who's apparently stand in manager who has decided SCS will not to ordering me another sofa as this is the fourth time !!! so what that is not there descision to make .... the last one they tried to deliver wasn't even the right colour so really it just shows ur incompetence and lack of care and attention to processing orders the replacement before that was dented and scuffed on the leather I am not excepting this under any circumstances I'm so distressed over this and lack of support from the Reading store and too be told well let's just be positive and we will deal with it after it's been delivered , I really can't cope with the customer services from your Reading store all they want to do is collect the sofa and get rid of us as customers Please don't shop at this store in Reading !!!!!

Deplorable customer service from manageress of Colchester store . I will never buy from the store again , rude argumentative & unsympathetic with no apology or explanation or courtesy phone call to tell me my sofas were not going to arrive on given date . (I stayed in & waited 8 hrs !) . The sofas could not be delivered for another whole week . I have a disability & ended up having to sit on my bed for yet another week . I do NOT recommend this store .

HAD A SOFA DELIVERED WHICH WAS FAULTY THE DELIVERY DRIVER CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE I AGREED TO HAVE THE ARM COVERED BUT ONLY ON A SATURDAY AS I WORK WAITED 6 WEEKS THEN THEY NEVER TURNED UP SO I RANG BACK THEY SAID WAS WAITING FOR A REPORT ! HOW CAN YOU REPORT NOTHING TO REPORT NO ONE TURNED UP I CONSTALY CALLED AND RECIEVED NOTHING BACK I THEN DEMANDED A NEW SOFA AND FINALLY THEY AGREED .SEE WHAT NEW ONE LIKE I ALSO ORDERED A RUG WAITED 6 WEEKS NEVER TURNED UP .ALSO HOW TO THEY JUSTIFIY £30 CHARGE ON RUGS ETC EVEN A BIT EXTRA CARPET.

paid cash 2500 for what they called highest quality leather sofas was delivered to the wrong address. by the time i got it they were unpacked and scratched and damaged after many stressful calls and upholsterer visits got a replacement.The replacement was faulty and began to peel EVERYWHERE in 6 months. After months of phone calls, many visits to scs and arguing with the stuck up managers I was told no refund but can come in and pick other sofas from store for the same amount. went back picked out other 'high quality' leather sofas paid 500 extra. The new sofas have just arrived and I've noticed at least 10 faults 5 major and about 5 or more minor. scs sent upholsterer to check and he has also said they are faulty.3 faulty sofas 2 years of stress 8 days unpaid day off work over the time period dealing with scs upholsterer appointments. now im waiting for scs to contact me. They better have a good offer for me after ALL this. I don't trust them after 3 sofas. I am already in talks with CAB and trading standards.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.Please don't buy from them. Bought sofa 2013 nothing but issues. FSO ruled manufacturing fault. At 4 years old SCS reckon end of its lifd yet offer 10 year guarantee. Not a member of Furniture Ombudsman. Get on credit or pay a deposit over 100 on credit card.

Had my sofa for 2 years, absolute load of rubbish poor quality, bolts falling out of sofa every few weeks, have to go through the endless waiting time on the phone as your put on hold for a very long time 2 days now and still trying to get through!!!

Ordered Leather sofa and armchair, had tested out the sofa in the store and found it to be very comfortable however when the furniture was delivered 2 weeks ago the sofa is nothing like the showroom model our sofa is very hard and uncomfortable, just had their rep out who says that the sofa is very firm!! but nothing wrong with it he says that it is the piece of wood under the cushion that we can feel and that this is normal (on a £2500 sofa I don't think so) also he says that armchairs and sofas are never the same. SCS are just not interested and basically they can sell you anything and get away with it AVOID THEM

Order a 3 seater and 2 chairs in June and to date I've had 3 delivered either faulty or different leather used for settee and chairs I ordered Matt Italian leather and today I had a high gloss leather delivered which looked cheap and nasty,once again I have rejected this. I have spoken to head office several times and have been continually lied to so once again I've contacted head office to be told they will look into it and contact me asap.i have never know anything like this 7 months this has gone on so I feel my only option is to take this further I would never ever recommend or use SCS again. Appauling.

After buying two leather suites from scs have had nothing but trouble and getting them to put right faults is impossible ive given up

Lazy boy suite I bought from scs in August delivered in October bin using it since November as we went on holiday beginning of the money had approximately 6 weeks use the 2 sofas have sunk in the middle scs sent out a technical guy who said there's nothing wrong with it his report was sent to the company who have wrote 2 me today basically saying there's nothing there gonna do avoid this company don't give them your money they won't rectify any problems they don't want to know absolute shoddy company....

Supposed to be on a pre xmas delivery. Lie after lie after lie promised a loan sofa yet another liethat was booked in after they break up for xmas so i couldnt ring and complain. On purchase i wasnt told about a delivery charge. The salesman Brian is a compulsive liar and a low life. I will never even consider walking into an scs again once ive finished complaining to that little weasel Brian.

I bought my sofa and chair, cash, for it to be delivered that week, after 4 phone calls I made I then get told that a member of staff had sold my chair, and I would have to wait till the end of January for new one to be made.

Ordered a carpet weeks ago..paid more than £400 up front ..delivery and fitting was arranged.. then cancelled due to the carpet not being delivered to them. Fitting rearranged..inconvenient but however just desperately needing it done. Was due to be done again tomorrow (Saturday 10 December) just had a call a few mins ago ( Friday 9th Dec) telling me that yet again it hasn't been delivered and it will be Monday they receive it BUT its going to be the end of the week -if I'm lucky- before it's fitted! Husband is unaware of this setback as he's currently travelling home from working away, specifically to remove furniture etc for our carpet to be fitted tomorrow!( 6 hours travelling!) as well as Losing pay ..I've taken two days off work now to accommodate this carpet ..I have children and can't even put our Christmas tree up.. disgraceful, stressful and costing us even more now! Never ever again ..wish I had went elsewhere now!

Appalled by lack of service throughout - 29/6/2016 ordered 4 seater curved power recliner + 3 seater manual recliner (Ralph) from Harlow SCS Store. Salesman stated the 4 seater sofa we were sitting on in store (curved) was the only 4 x seater available in range when we questioned the order form didn't state 'curved'. When order arrived 18/9/16 (after delivery delayed due to SCS error) a 4 seater straight sofa was delivered. We went straight to the store to be challenged by another salesman who stated we should have checked there was no straight 4 seater in range rather than taking original salesman's word for it! Eventually original salesman admitted fault & curved sofa was ordered. Again another delivery delay but SCS did try to take old (wrong) sofa 4 x days before delivery of new which we disputed. Eventually correct sofas delivered after a great deal of stress/delay and absolute anguish!!! NEVER ORDER FROM SCS unless you are in for a fight!!! To top the lot we have been told within terms & conditions it states SCS never offer any form of compensation... AWFUL COMPANY!!!!!

Sofa bought within 12 months developed a fault with the cushion. First engineer who can to look at it said there was nothing wrong with it, so I requested another engineer to assess who said the cushions needed to be replaced. Cushions arrived within agreed time frame repair completed but leather had sagged. Contacted SCS who denied poor workmanship, contact Barclays who sent out Servico to conduct an independent report. Sofa had been damaged, leather torn on the underside of sofa resulting in sagging leather, additional staples put in which have caused injury... Still SCS state it is my fault for not dressing the sofa. Thankfully Zb Barclays are going to get it repaired via Servico at no cost to me as SCS have denied the repair has caused further problems. DO NOT BUT FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!

Bought £899 sofa had 3 people come to try fix as it sags so much, long story short told my fault for not dressing and plumping up every day. In dispute will not leave this here . DO NOT BUY FROM SCS !!
