Fitted a very low spec cctv system, even though paid for and promised a professional system, cameras put in wrong places way to high, can only see tops of peoples heads, try and zoom in and just see pixels. Complete waste of money. Wish I had done better research and looked at all the terrible reviews about this company.”

Honestly I’m sick of writing reviews about Securico….if I wasn’t tied in to using them having already paid out a ridiculous amount of money on their cameras, I wouldn’t go near them!!!
Having had the cameras for 6 years we decided to upgrade them. £1200 later we’re left with a wrongly positioned camera that shows absolutely nothing at night (really helpful for a security camera!)
Having complained on social media as the customer service is appalling and non existent once they have your money!! They finally come out to fix it. 2 grown men claim they are unable to reposition the camera and now have to book us in another day….not even the next day.
It seems existing customers mean nothing to Securico and just taking in money from new customers (who clearly don’t know how unreliable and unprofessional you are) take president!
You claim the engineer today knew the camera was positioned incorrectly….yet the engineer that fitted it originally clearly didn’t?! So may I suggest some more training for your engineers and certainly for your customer service department.
Im at a loss for words at how diabolical your service actually is. Not even an apology on the phone and just the threat of ‘let me speak or I’ll terminate the call’.
If this review saves even one customer from wasting their time and money it’s worth it!

“Since March 2023 I have had to take time off during the week, to wait for an engineer to come and fix an issue with my mothers cctv.
My mother has dementia and is bed ridden. She is on her own and the only way we know she is safe is through the CCTV system.
I am still awaiting for someone to rearrange for an engineer, to correct this on going issue, it’s now July and appointments have been made, with either engineers not turning up or attending my mothers house without the correct equipment or going to the wrong address.
All I ask is that someone from this company fixes this issue, making our mother safe.”
“I recently changed my ISP and was having a lot of problems with the connection through to my CCTV whilst away from the property "Remoting" my cameras on my phone or PC.
I tried to contact Securico for help on the matter, but beyond suggesting changing the admin user password, they weren't prepared to help unless I paid, or if I forked out several hundred on a new system.
The problem turned out to be a bit of simple IP and port configuration, which they could easily have offered to me, if it wasn't for their mercenary approach to customer service where they only want to get more money out of you. The system itself is fine, but don't expect any support when it all goes wrong. Get your CCTV from someone else instead.”

“Appointment booked four weeks ago for 4 cameras installation and I was contacted 2 days before the due date to cancel the appointment. Totally unprofessional and unreliable I reccomend to avoid at any cost. Spare yourself a disappointment.”
“I've had the CCTV installed in July 2021. The sales side was fine, no issues with the costs and installation date however; since having the CCTV installed; I then realised that the engineers put cracks in the roof tiles with their feet. This was indeed fixed but only once it was escalated as a complaint and took several weeks.
Since having the camera's installed; I have had so many issues with the camera's not showing videos and this is unacceptable for my business model. I've had multiple visits from engineers with some no-shows - these are all arranged by email so very time consuming. Since they've stopped accepting phone calls for technical support, it's VERY difficult to get things resolved and they only offer support Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. It's even worse trying to make a complaint because they only accept complaints by POST!!! I won't be using Securico again so I do not recommend.”
“Where do I start? I've had the system almost 3 years. Installed quickly and well and worked pretty well but for a couple of hiccups in the first year.
Payed for 2nd year warranty and then the problems started. I've had 2 years of grief.
The latest issues started in Nov 2020 and are still ongoing. The hard drives started beeping and wouldn't reset. Eventually guys came out and couldn't fix it. So new equipment was promised, installed and..........didn't work. (This took several attempts, often the team wouldn't arrive due to over running etc, its cost me a lot of leave from work.) I was promised a tech call a few days later would fix the issue - it didn't. So a new drive was needed.
New drive installed and.....................didn't work.
Again more remote tech calls .......................have taken hours and ...................not worked. But don't worry they say, the cameras are recording - what's the use if I cant access the material???
Today another team failed to show just a call with 15 mins left on the slot to say they'd be here in an hour ie 1700 on a Friday........but Im going out.
Cameras not sending alerts, off line, hard drive not working, some alerts to phone app with the video 1/2 blanked out but alerts not being generated all the time by all cameras. The laptop system is dead too.
There is no customer service or care, each call of visit takes weeks to happen, if it happens, there is no bumping up in the priority for a customer they've let down, none. I paid a lot for this and its worthless, useless, oh but they did extend my warranty on kit they cant fix! Joke.
I've now contacted the Customer Services manager, again, and just get told to write a complaint which they will take at least a month to answer, no apology, no offer to re-arrange the visit, nothing, nowt zip, zero.
So I now have had a visit, the equipment has been replaced but the original issue of a lack of email alerts by some cameras has not been resolved.
The team left saying the tech support guys were working remotely on my system to set the emails back up. This was clearly not the case when I checked.
After posting this and similar across Social Media on Friday Rena from customer services called me on Monday and said a 'Director' had directed the problem be solved today, Wednesday, once and for all. Well, that direction hasn't been followed. Kit replaced but original issue with alerts still not sorted.
Hhahahaha too soon. System repaired on 16 Sep but faulty again on 21st - reported it but despite some emails nothing from the company at all. Zip nowt, Ive asked for my money back but I doubt they'll do anything.”
“The company looked very organised and straightforward at the beginning and that's why I chose them.
Later on unveiled the true colours.
When I applied Mr Sam Caan replied swiftly on a Saturday 9 pm and that's were I thought the company how good could have been, unfortunately it was not, he just sold us words.
He promised to send an experienced professional staff to install the cameras unlikely we had a 3 week trainee, he left pending the wires which they ended up wrapping on the front shutters affecting the newly installed alarm wires (unexpected cost of 300£).
Not only that, they drilled the shutter box to wire the front cameras drilled on the wrong part and every single rain we had leakage, it is a newly well refurbished shop so since they continued messing up we had to call the company who refurbished the place and that was again unexpected cost of 450£.
All the mentioned above was back in March, they promised to link the cameras to our gadgets but still chasing them although it is included on the original contract and should have been done on time. We received a call from their staff (Shaun/Sean) when I addressed the complaint and explained our previous experience we had, he started to argue and denied later on hanged the call. Everything is documented by videos and pictures when it has been addressed to the concerned person Mr Sam Caan as he is the one who promised the best service ever.
Bad experience and bad response, we don't recommend at all.”

I fitted alarm and Cctv not even one year. I got problems with the alarm.
I did call the company with no one answer and ask me to send an email. The response on the email is so slow , after I finally got a call Back to booked for a visit. I take a day off to wait for the technician HE DID NOT TURN UP”

“Forced to cancel upgrade installation due to disabled daughter having seizure, because it was within a 24 hr period before work , they refuse to refund our deposit of 299.00.
There is a cooling off period , we cannot predict seizures , absolutely unforgivable. We will not be rebooking which was our intention , we will not be recommending nor will we ever use them again.
They should be ashamed targeting a disabled family like this.”

“Absolutely shocking company. The engineer was over 2 hours late....I had to call 3 times to eventually be told he had a flat tyre, when asked why he didn’t call me to let me know there was no real answer.
Had 1 camera fitted and the quality is terrible! The image freezes and then jump forward and playback rarely works. Been calling/emailing for over a week now and STILL no one has come to sort the issue.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
And now my device just says ‘offline’ so paying over £500 for a security system that does absolutely nothing! And apparently no help line or technical support available until Monday....worst company ever!”
