“My range was in good condition for its age according to the the individual sent to do a clean of cooker, stainless steel splash back and filter hood. He also cleaned my microwave which didn’t look any different to it’s original condition. I now have massive abrasive cleaning of my hob down to the metal which I never had before. The stainless steel back splash was left with smears all over it together with a stain on the top of the hood which was not there before although the individual said he couldn’t get rid of it. It was not there before the clean. I have had to purchase black enamel paint to cover the damage to my hob. My regret is using this company stupidly giving the individual a £5 tip for his work without doing a mega check on his work.I need feedback”

“Clean itself was fine, but the area on the worktop around the hob was left dirty and stained and required additional cleaning after the representative had left. The graphics beside the hob knobs, (which were slightly faded in places but were still in place) have been completely removed.”

“Our Oven was left with cleaning product still left on edges of the cooker. The diagrams below each dial have been rubbed off faded. Cleaning product has been sprayed onto our kitchen unit next to the cooker which we had to clean after the man left.”

“The oven was really nice and clean with only minimal detergent debris in the back. What was disappointing was the clear scratches on the oven door which were not there before… too rough and abrasive I would say for an oven that wasn’t even that dirty and no way to fix that now :(”

“Cooker only part cleaned, operative was messy & left the kitchen floor with bits of cleaning material on it. Seemed to be in a hurry to get to the next job. I was left with the feeling that he had not cleaned this model of cooker before. Office when contacted apologised, were very helpful & have arranged for the cooker to be seen by a different member of their team to complete the job.”

“The oven was not cleaned properly and the many places that were left an oven repair man and I did ourselves a couple of days later. Although the company did offer to send the same man out again, why would I want someone who didn't do a good job the first time back again? They were unable to send anyone else as it seems there is only 1 man for the whole of Hertfordshire. Also Select did not apply the £10 first time discount properly (only gave me £5) until I queried this and was told it was a clerical error. The pricing of the job seemed made up as I don't have a single invoice with the actual amount I paid (£105). I have 3 separate 'invoices' and non of these reflect the actual cost to me. I think I have been short changed and it was a bad clean. Will not be using again.”

“Very nice young man came to clean oven. Unfortunately he broke Oven door. This was replaced by company. Oven was not cleaned to my standards, it was redone. But will not use again.”

“It was one if the more expensive cleaning services, but had good reviews. We were told we would be text with a time of arrival and wast, gentleman was left with my daughter, and was very professional at all times. However, on my return and inspecting the oven and chimney, it was not to the standard i expected, the stainless steel is discoloured and you can see marks in it, as well as loose debris left laying on the chimney hood. All in all very poor. Wont be using again.”
