I was disappointed with this as I downloaded two different versions of a karaoke track of Hot Stuff. First one the original by Donna Summer and whilst this played the Karaoke track it did not display any words. the second version by Michael Ball - and whilst this did display the words it had the main singers voice singing throughout the duration of the track, so therefore not a karaoke track.

Hi, sorry to hear you were not happy with your purchases, we will certainly do what we can to get it sorted. The first problem is a weird one, because ALL of our tracks have on screen lyrics, so if you are not seeing any lyrics either the track is faulty or you are using the wrong software for playback. Please email the sales team with details of the error and they will get it sorted for you right away, sales@selectatrack.com. The second issue, if you are hearing someone singing the main vocal, you must have selected a "multiplex" track, this a special type of karaoke track that includes a guide vocal, which can be switched on & off when using compatible software, these tracks are clearly marked with "MULTIPLEX" after the song title and explained in our FAQ. If you would prefer to swap this for a non multiplex version just let the sales team know and they will organise this for you. Kind regards, Selectatrack.

Would recommend Amazon.com which sells similar titles for a third the pricce.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write a review, but just to be clear Amazon do not sell what we sell, nothing like it. Amazon's download service is audio only, not karaoke with lyrics, and they also do not provide a custom karaoke disc service.

Having bought a personalised cdg, one of the tracks (Boomtown Rats 'I dont like Mondays') is a whole page and about 30seconds out of sync with the music and backing vocals. It has made me think twice about ordering a personalised cdg again.

Tracks being out of sync are very rare, we will look up your order and contact the track supplier to request a fixed version of the track ASAP. Firstly,My name is Stephen Moody,husband of Sherry. Its her name on OUR Card, but the music is for me. Karaoke Version rewards its members for purchases......You do not .Many of your songs have very wrong lyrics. I made this point some time ago. I suggest that you screen the songs you sell before you put them on Line for to us to buy . It wouldnt hurt you to reward customers with some freebies ,such as a free download..It could prove to be a good thing for you. Also I would like to be able to play the sample song for a much longer time ,to make sure of proper lyrics and good instrumentation. Your offer for a months free singing has no appeal to me. Please give me a free download or two .I've spent plenty on your downloads. Cheers Yours Sincerely Stephen J

Hi Stephen, as a regular customer its a shame you felt the need to leave a negative review, there must be something you like about the service if you have made multiple purchases! We don't offer a reward system, however discounts are available for repeat customers by purchasing store credit in bulk. Unfortunately we can;t fix the song lyrics, we are just just a re-seller of the tracks, we don;t produce them. However if you find any incorrect lyrics please let us know and we'll let the track supplier know and request they be fixed. Unfortunately to stay in line with licensing laws we can only offer 30 second samples free of charge, however in the majority of tracks this is plenty of time to get an idea of the quality of instrumental and on screen graphics. Thanks again for your continued custom

I recently ordered a cdg disc with seven tracks on it. One track the words keep breaking up and another has such a bad backing it sounds awful

Hi, sorry to hear you are having a problem with your disc, we'll try and get it sorted out for you ASAP. The problem with the graphics breaking up shouldn't happen, either our master is faulty or its a read error. If you pop us an email with the details of the affected track we'll check our master and if faulty send a replacement disc right away. As explained in our FAQ's we do offer karaoke tracks from all the major karaoke manufacturers and the audio versions can vary, that's why we suggest customers listen to the audio samples before ordering to check they are happy with the backing track before ordering. Hi I have used you before and most tracks were excellent. However, the recent tracks excluding Zoom and Sunfly were poor quality as the words were distorted and illegible. Also, you never charged extra before to personalise the CD which was a nice personable touch. I didn't want Bllly Exstine's voice on the track MY Foolish Heart, I wanted to sing it myself as Karaoke so was disappointed with that as well. Hope you learn something from this feedback. Hi, thanks for shopping with us, sorry to hear you have experienced problems. There should never be a situation where the lyrics are distorted, if this is the case please email the sales team letting them know which tracks are affected and they will get it sorted out for you. sales@selectatrack.com. We do not charge any extra to personalise your CD, your chosen disc name and track list will be printed on the front of the disc for no extra charge, it's included in the price. Regarding the Billy Eckstine track, we have checked your order and you chose a Multiplex version, this means there is someone singing the main vocal as a guide, although this vocal can be removed when played on a compatible player. Multiplex tracks are clearly marked with MULTIPLEX written in brackets after the song title. If this was done in error and you would like to change it for a non multiplex version let us know and we'll try and arrange it for you. Thanks
