“The tour was amazing. Our guide was so knowledgeable and she had friends at every stop to greet us and entertain us. The long stretches on the bus were used to educate us about Newfoundland and we listened to CDs of local musicians.”
“Excellent tour. Loved the locations we visited and tour guides were knowledgeable. Our "den mother" was delightful and caring. That said the tour did move too fast for me and I am mobile. I do enjoy walking and stopping to admire and take photos which was not possible at the pace set.
The meals were very good and loved tasting the specialties of the region. However was under the impression that wine would come with the meals and that was not the case for some of the meals.”
“Overall very good and excellent most of the time in terms of tour organization, value for what is offered and customer service. The tour director can make the difference between a good and excellent trip on many occasions. At times the flights are inconvenient and not scheduled with travellers in mind- likely more to do with cost. For example, the trip to Northern Portugal and Madeira- where for the trip home I believe I recall flying back to Lisbon for one day and then a stopover flight extremely early in the AM backwards to the hub in Germany before heading home. I understand some flights are cheaper but why the day trip back to Lisbon for one day? Why couldn’t you leave directly from Madeira one day later and fly from Madeira to Frankfurt, I believe it was, and then home? Overall we do really enjoy Senior Discovery Tours and will travel with you again when the pandemic is under control with an effective vaccine.”

“My husband and I have taken 6 tours with your company and really enjoy them. We love the fact that you include so many things in your tours including insurance, tour guides, many meals and some with wine, good locations for hotels, flights and for an extra cost pick up and return to the airport.
One thing we really enjoy are the meals which are buffet and with seating with a couple of hours open for dinner and lunch. We do not enjoy the table service as much as there is a set time for dinner and not open seating anywhere in the restaurant.
We look forward to when we can travel again with your company safely. We had to cancel our tour this past spring with you. We do have one in mind for next fall if it becomes available to Austria. Hope things open up safely soon.
