“The best part of Senior Tours is the absolutely wonderful guides that accompany the tour. They are knowledgeable as can be expected, but it is their helpfulness and concern for everyone in the group that I admire. On each trip the guide went out of her way to assist me with small details or very large ones such as taking me to a hospital in Hungary and having her daughter stay with me to translate and get me back to the hotel again. To me the guides are the most important part of the trip,
The travel arrangements are the least enjoyable, weird flying times long waits between flights,Finally, the very long hours spent until we finally are able to board a boat, or be allowed into a hotel.”

The highlight of the trip for us was the concert at the Schonbrunn Palace in VIenna, something we will always remember.”

“Everything was beautifully organized, and our Tour Manager Barbara was excellent. Italy was just in the beginnings of the coronavirus pandemic, and as we were in Sicily, our itinerary was constantly changing, and government orders were closing sites, Barbara managed to chop and change not only to keep us safe but to try to make the best of what we could see. We had to be brought home early because of Covid-19, and through all the rush to get flights and connections, Barbara kept us calm and informed. Head office staff office also pulled out all the stops and within hours had us booked and ticketed on flights home. What we did experience in Sicily was beautiful. I would travel with Senior Discovery Tours again.”

“My primary concern is that you list just about all your tour vacations as "those joining our tours to Europe (or wherever) must be able to walk fairly long distances and climb stairs easily. I understand your concern for Tour Managers and the persons taking the tour but I feel it has been a bit overstated consistently and as a result likely many potential tour participants are being eliminated. Possibly this could be toned down or in some instances even eliminated.”

“Excellent pacing regarding the organized tour content each day and the individual time to explore and/or relax. We especially enjoy and chose the itineraries that provide the least number of hotel changes.....three hotel changes over two weeks is our preference. Paris and southern France was our last trip. Looking forward to returning for similar tours once the virus realities are under control.”
