“We went to Scotland with Senior Discovery Tours. It was excellent. We went to Italy with a tour group from Marlin Travel in Peterborough. We loved Italy but the tour compared to Senior Discovery was very poorly organized. We decided then we will always travel with Senior Discovery Tours in the future. Our next trip will be Ireland once it is safe to travel again.”
“Excellent location, tour guide, fellow guests, hotels, food and itinerary.
There were a couple days that involved very long bus rides. One stop was a long way off then back to main road that could have been skipped. Another day included a long trip to Halong Bay that took us to a market on the way there then again the next day that should have been skipped. Given how busy each day was I the busy day I would have appreciated time at the end of each day to prep for dinner. Maybe an hour to shower, change clothes, and rest before dinner.”

“My sister and I travelled to Tenerife in February 2020. It was a very well organized tour and even though we had a very large group everyone got along and were a lot of fun. The hotel was very nice and well located. The only complaint was the food. It was always cold - the heating elements were never turned on and the staff did not seem to understand when I brought it to their attention. As a result, some of our group, including myself got food poisoning. I missed 2 days of the trip by spending it in bed. I did report my illness to the front desk and by the last few days the heating elements were up and running as they should have been from the beginning. On reading some of the reports on the website from other vacationers to the same hotel, the temperature of the food seemed to have been an issue for some time. If we had known that we were staying at such a nice hotel in Windsor on the return journey, we would like to have had the option to stay another night and return home one day later.”

Hopefully we can do another trip when the pandemic is over, but it could be a long time before we feel comfortable flying and cruising.”
