In spite of food related medical issues for many, with the assistance of our guide, Tina May( I think), the tour kept going and we saw and experienced what we expected! Even an error with flight time in Peru got solved, with SDT stepping up to pay more of our expenses.”

Our trip with that particular vacation was rated a good 4/5. We had planned a trip in 2019 space week cruise. Unfortunatly I had a serious back operation and had to cancel. Your agent arranged for refund without hesitation and were very concerned about my health. We booked the same trip for 2020 but it was cancelled, "we all know the reason". “I have travelled with Senior Discovery Tours once-to Provence in the fall of 2019. The extra personal conveniences experienced on this tour made this tour my favourite so far. The only small criticizim I have is when I made a request to leave the tour bus before the planned stop-on the exact same route, to visit a site within walking distance (a mile) of the planned stop.
I had to walk from the planned stop back to the site and then return on foot to the bus. On previous tours with other providers the tour guides were happy to help me with personal requests(at my own expense) that did not inconvenience others.

Only comment would be concerning the ‘physical abilities’ of a few of the group members... the walking was more like hiking on some of our days and I think some walkers need to be aware of the physical demands. Walking flat trails at home and walking hill towns and gorges are two very different activities. Overall a terrific trip! Would definitely think about booking another walking tour.”
