“The problem I had was getting proper flight connections to the destination. There were screw-ups with flight connections in Vancouver. The trip to Hawaii was good and well looked after.
Trip to Palm Springs connection in Los Angelus was lousy.
Trip to Cuba flying was from Kelowna to Toronto, then on to Cuba next day whereas we could have flown directly to Cuba from Kelowna. Tireing trip for seniors. Do not like Air Canada.”

At York we were watching some buskers, next I looked around and none were to be found. Regional guide said would be heading to the cathedral (got there and it is closed)
Fortunately I over heard guide telling coach driver which parking lot to meet group.
An escorted group should not move on without a head count.

“We were on the 14 day tour of Catalonia in 2017. 2 couples, very excited with the tour on paper.
First disappointment came with the hotel in Barcelona. We were sold a hotel steps from La Rambla with top roof patio and bar but ended up miles from the main street in a 3rd class hotel on a ordinary street. We were expecting our meals to include more variety of sea foods but ended up eating primarily pork. Other hotels and food were also disappointing. Visit to the vineyard was excellent.
Would book another tour but very hesitant with your first experience.

“I was disappointed with the food. There was only one city where I thought the restaurant had good authentic food.
The guide however was terrific. The manager from your company not so much.
Also having to pay extra both ways on the airline was an unexpected and unwelcome charge. Some people were even expected to pay extra 4 times. The fact that some in the group had horrible layovers was also not what I would have expected from you.
Therefore, it will take a lot before I will book with you again.”
“Arrived at hotels too late in the day. It was always a rush to get to dinner .Meals were mediocre. Hotels were too isolated- it would have been nice to have been to have been able to go to a local restaurant. Overall, we didn't feel we had a taste if the real Italy.”
“Our experience taking a trip to Italy with Senior Discovery tours was poor. The choice of accommodations was poor and the food experience the hotels provided was terrible. However the itinerary was good and transportation was good . Senior Discovery Tours did give us a credit for a future trip but certainly was not adequate for the disappointing accommodations and food provided.”

“I have been travelling for years, mostly with Trafalgar! My one trip with Senior Discovery Tours was my last, back to Trafalgar! Worst Tour Director ever. Someone from the office, they wanted to experience the world of Tour Directors. Uninformed, unprofessional and untrained!
