“I have been on 11 trips with Senior Tours and never have had a hold up or a problem. I would not travel at me age with any other tour company because I have had such good service. I cancelled my trip for myself and my sister-in-law Crustina Stafford last week and it was a shame but I think I got all of the money back, you must have also cancelled it, because there was no $75.00 taken off of the deposit price, therefore as far as I know I got a full refund. My problem is that you dont go out of business because I am going to book next year if we clear up the Covid. My sister-in-law is also going to be travelling with me and it was my husbands swish that I take her down the Danube and he passed away one year ago, so we had the reservation since then and and was so disappointed along with every one else, but what can you do, but please keep your heads above board because next year I want to go. “Loved the Poppyfield tour in Europe. It was amazing. Everything was taken care of, very well planned and it included all accommodations, travel (flights, bus tours) and museums, as well as almost all meals and drinks. Our guides were awesome and all the events were too. The specialized guides were very knowledgeable about the places we visited and knew so much of the battles and history. We were picked up, taken to the airport in a van at the beginning of the tour and driven home at the end of the trip. Such a great way to travel with every need taken care of. The accommodations were lovely too. We also met some other wonderful seniorsof all ages too. I highly recommend Senior Discovery Tours and would use them again.

“Found Senior Discovery Tours to be excellent. Had a tour scheduled to Yorkshire Dales from
Sept. 24 but cancelled due to Covid and high risk of travel. HF holiday houses have been
closed for a few months and are not scheduled to reopen until July and only for self
guided hikes. We were charged $75.00 each . Seems rather unfair in view of the number of
tours taken and hope to continue in the future.

“Excellent from start to finish on all accounts. First trip was New Zealand in 2015. Well planed and executed itinerary from bottom of South Island to top of the North. Variety of transportation modes was a highlight (trains, boats, motor coaches and planes). People and places were enhanced by excellent accommodations. Trip of a lifetime. Second trip was to Northern Italy (Lake Garda) in April, 2018. Our first “stay put” holiday - which was a perfect way to see the area. As well as
seeing world renown tourist areas, we were able to meet many local residents. The hotel in Desenzano (Piccola Vela) was one of the best we have stayed at. Not the biggest or most spectacular, but ideal for our group. The location, food, accommodations and - particularly- the staff were second to none.
Both trips were greatly enhanced by the performances of the Tour Managers.k They can make or break a traveller’s vacation. We always tell our friends that they are the number one reason we will always travel with Senior Discovery Tours.
Third trip did not happen - a return trip to Italy in March of this year. And we all know what happened with that one. I mention it because of the way he company handled the cancellation process. In our minds, they truly put the clients first (as opposed to some of the horror stories we heard and read about). Information was always available from company staff - all the way up to and including the President. When the inevitable decision to cancel the tour was made (within a couple weeks of our scheduled departure) we were contacted the same day and told we would receive a full refund. We did - and in only 10 days! It must have been a monumental task and financially daunting for the company. We will always be grateful for this.
These are a few of the reasons why I started this note with the word “Excellent”.
