“Initial sales advice was good. Salesman very good in terms of attitude etc. We did feel as if it was us that should be lucky to be buying a car from the garage not the fact out business was valuable. It seems the car market at the moment has made things this way. There was no extra effort given to make us feel our business was valued. Not even a £10 of fuel or car mats in the car. This really annoyed us actually. Once we had signed the car took over a week to get ready. It needed a valet and a couple of brake pads and mot but there didn’t seem any urgency. Lastly upon collection we were told there was no service logs or user manuals with it as all of that was all online!!!!! When we got the car home they were all in a leather pouch on the back seat!!! It just showed how much effort and attention the salesman had given to us or this transaction. If I’m honest upon reflection really not very impressed at all.”

“Happy with the deal and the salesman not so happy after collection of the car. Few small scratches which I've mostly managed to polish out myself, 1 damaged alloy wheel ( didn't spot it on collection) asked for software and firmware to be updated to latest version, wasn't. I know I should of done a better inspection on collection of my car but it's less than a year old with less than 5k on the clock so I expected better. I've rang the dealer to try and sort these issues and was told they would ring me back that was 2wks ago now. Maybe they'll read this review return my call and I can change my review to a more positive one if not I won't be visiting SG Petch when it's time to change the car.”

“Bought a Kia Picanto for my daughter - car was nicely presented and a good price. Was given the keys to take out for a test drive and on return there was no pressure sales from James who was great throughout. Car was ready when arranged and they were happy to sort out a couple of minor issues post-sale. Would go back again.”

“Very knowledgeable and attentive staff (James) Easy to deal with from start to finish of buying process. I had just rejected a vehicle bought from one of the big sheds ,as not fit for purpose. So refreshing to deal with family business that doesn't want to fast track the customer so can move on to next victim/customer.”
