“I was very impressed with the salesperson when we first visited the show room and how professional he was in explaining everything. I was not impressed at all when I came to pick up the vehicle as the work which had been agreed was not done. This was a birthday present for my daughter and her first experience in the buying process for a new car, when it was not ready she was really disappointed. When we returned on the second occasion the work had been carried out, if only that had been done the first time the experience would have been perfect.”

“This is the 3rd Fiat punto that I have purchased from S G Petch and although the last one had a number of teething problems they were quickly sorted out by the firm. The transition to purchase the new vehicle was made easy by the salesman (Tony Hill) who I have dealt with on each of the previous occasions and have come to trust. I am more than happy with the service provided by S G Petch.”

“Positives : showroom, sales adviser (Chris Philips), communication, the car!! Negatives : I initially arranged a test drive of another spec and arrived on the day of the test drive to find the car had been sold. I should have been told this in advance. There were three members of staff on duty that day (lunchtime) and I asked about the availability of other cars. No-one had access to availability, or other specs/prices, without the salesperson (who was at lunch). From a customer's perspective, there's little point in having staff on hand if they are markedly limited in their ability to assist potential customers. One of the team pretty much answered every question with 'I don't know' or 'I can't do that/don't have that info'. This was a big negative for me and something Chris and Georgia managed to compensate for later down the line, but I could well have called it a day at that point and contacted another dealer.”

“"The pleasantness of the sales person Ray Bennett. Unfortunately during the sales pitch with Ray and the sales person for KIA we were made to feel uncomfortable. The KIA sales person was quite rude and derogatory to Ray, on reflection I wish I had mentioned it at the time. The car had also allegedly been Valeted, the outside had been washed\/polished and wheels blackened etc, but the inside had definitely not been touched and I had to clean it the following day ."”

“Ryan Robertson served me very well, not the atypical car salesman but interested and he listened. Bit disappointed that only £20 worth of fuel was supplied when the deal was a full tank. Also the interior of the car wasn't as clean as it should have been. Overall service was good if not up to the standards of Stratstone where I bought my other car.”
