“I purchased this shark shampooer striker cleaner because it looked wonderful online and it had a great guarantee. I used it the first time it worked OK however after that, it did not work well at all it was over $300. It did not work any better than my hundred dollar bissell or Hoover I expected way more from shark it was a waste of money.”

“****FIX YOUR APP***** Shark VacMop Av2001WRUS: really had high hopes for this robot vacuum...they've been crushed. Here is my assessment so far. App is terrible. With Lidr, I thought the bump & go stumbling in the dark would go away...nope. Mapping took forever on less 1100 sq ft and covered some areas more than once. Sent to the dock and it to over 5+min to get back. The carpet zone verification doesn't work. Despite this, ran a test mop and guess what!, it ran on the carpet. No go zones cannot be resized smaller. Support is just short of useless. Apparently, according to support, they have removed any kind of manual firmware updates. The problem with this, no idea if theres an update out there to fix all the broken sh** or not. You have to trust them and don't know where or when there's an update.App fails to register the product. Spot clean doesn't work. The "schedule" is only once a day and you have to do the whole house.”

“Not a very good customer service experience. Wanted to return, despite four calls was unable to get return voucher on email. Explain to representative with no help, comments that I will get in 1 hour. Frustrating as have to spent lots of time on call but in vain.”

“Device is okay, app and customer service suck. I’ve tried to send a forgot password code to my email 24 times over the last two days and haven’t gotten a single code. Customer service phone number puts you on hold for hours. Terrible.”

“We have owned 2 upright vacuums The first was the NV750W best machine I have ever owned! I purchased the extended 7 year warranty. We purchased another top of the line ZU782, the quality has gone done substantially. I called to get have two parts warranted on my NV750W, we complete a video call so they can physically see the machine and what has broken. All pretty standard really, but keep in mind these machines are olive green and burgundy red, very different. The parts show up and they are for the ZU782, so I call back and I am told they did not make a mistake and they will not warranty parts because they already have once. The only way I could get parts was to buy the parts and they would discount the parts. I have two cleaners and two warranties that I paid for. Shark in my opinion has completely gone down hill. I will never buy another shark product again. Two stars because once upon a time they had good products and good customer service.”

“My new vacuum was chosen as it was supposed to be good for pet hair, however once the motor burnt out and twice it has become so clogged that I have had to poke it with a wire coathanger in the handle section to remove hair which clogged there. On phoning shark the last 2 times they said that they were unable to help with blockages and I suggested that this was missilod as it really was not fit for purpose (ie cannot cope with hair from our dog ) they were not prepared to enter into any resolution and continued to tell me they caould not help with a blockage!!”
