Bad product, horrible customer service useless system. I wasted about 6 hrs with this company. You buy their products to make life easier, well in my case it made my life difficult. The product would not work properly, keet going in circles and after 1 or 2 minutes go back to dock. Customer service could not do anything about it, have to drive several miles to the store I bought it to returned it. I supposed was going to have a replacement for a discount price, but their system would not work so I could not pay for it, their answer? just call again and waste more time with this useless brand.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Shark when my vacuum stopped working just 12 months after purchase. Despite the product still being under warranty, getting support for a return was far from straightforward. My expectation was for a simple and efficient resolution, given Shark's reputation for customer service and product reliability. However, the process turned out to be anything but. Upon contacting Shark's customer service for assistance, I was met with a procedure that was not only time-consuming but also quite frustrating. Instead of facilitating a straightforward return or offering a cashback refund, I was required to undergo a multi-hour troubleshooting session. This involved numerous steps that seemed more like a delay tactic than a genuine attempt to solve my problem. The insistence on troubleshooting, which took several hours of my time without any resolution, was particularly disheartening. My vacuum was clearly defective, and I had hoped for a more understanding and customer-friendly approach from Shark. The experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer, as it seemed that their policy was more focused on avoiding returns rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the refusal to offer a cashback refund added insult to injury. It felt as though my legitimate concerns and the inconvenience I experienced were being dismissed. A company of Shark's stature should prioritize the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their customers above all. Overall, this experience has significantly impacted my view of Shark and my likelihood to purchase from them in the future. It's disappointing to see a company, known for its innovation and quality, fall short when it comes to supporting their customers. I hope Shark reevaluates its customer service and return policies to prevent similar experiences for others.

DO NOT BUY SHARK PRODUCTS!!!! Terrible Warranty. I bought a Shark WandVac hand held vacuum. Battery died after 10 months. They wanted to charge me $104 ($60 shipping and $44 handling) to get it replaced. How does a company charge shipping and HANDLING fee to replace a defective product!

Ordered vacuum on Black Friday sale and still no vacuum. Shipping label made up and they took the money from my credit card along with a 1.00 charge, why I don’t know. I have reached out several times and they keep saying to wait for 15 business days with no answer to where the vacuum is at. The site states it would not be charged till shipped, a shipping label with no product shipped is not a legit reason to take funds for the vacuum. Customer service has been no help in this situation.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. My device is still under manufactures warranty and I have not been able to use the device for over a month. Have spoken with customer service over three weeks, for them to say that they can not replace my device and I will need to wait until the technical issue is resolved with the engineers regarding connectivity issues. By the time that happens I be well out of my 1 year warranty for an issue that is not my fault. I do not recommend this company nor their products to anyone.

I only received 1 of two replacement charges... the lady is asking for that i video call to prove it ... ma'am I received it fed ex.. its said 1 item and states the weight of the package are you serious.. don't buy their products not worth it!!

Terrible service from this company 2 months of trying to sort reimbursement out multiple calls and e-mails with them trying to say never sent both items back which I have the records and proof of this which I shared with there customer service team who eventually seen this to be case and apologised for the inconvenience and said money would be back in account within 10 days ,this was on Feb 22 and still no further foward absolutely livid with this company as you have caused nothing but distress for my 71 year old mother...Will be raising a small claims court case for this and compensation claim....!!!

Customer service SUCKS told me it would take 24 to 48 hours to contact me about my problem not good at all been three days I shouldn't have to reconnect to my app and wifi everytime I want to use it I'm taking the junk back to the store not happy with the app or WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SUPPORT I'm done

While the shark did work at first I then had wifi issues of it not connecting. Customer service was useless. Every person I talked to wanted me to take the exact same efforts. Kept promising to call me back. Never did call. I will never buy or recommend this companies products to anyone

It is the worst 300.00 ever spent. It is a waste!!! I picked up a little 20.00 plug in vacuum, and it works better then this hunk of junk!!!!! Wish I would of saved my money instead of buying this worthless piece of junk!!! MY ADVICE SAVE YOUR MONEY!¡!!

My review isn't about the product, but about the company and their so call customer service. On May 2nd I placed an order for a Shark Al Robot Self Emptying vacuum and an Air Purifier through the Shark Clean website. I placed two separate orders so I could use the promo codes for each item. One was $200 off and one was $100 off. I received and order confirmation on both items. Not receiving product or any notifications, I called to check my order on May 17th and was told by Ackzia my order was cancelled. When asked why, I was told product was out of stock and was told to try and reorder. I went online and of course the promo codes I used originally were no longer available- how convenient. I did not order at that time. Instead, I called Shark Customer Service on May 23rd and explained everything. The lady I spoke with Jakeshia advised only a 20% is offered right now. I explained to her, I did not cancel my order and the discount I was getting originally should be the same discount. She finally advised me to order with the 20% and then call back-she put a note in system, and I would get another 20% off my total. I did as I was instructed. I placed my order, got an order confirmation, called back spoke with Tionne who wasn't able to assist me with the extra 20%. She connected me to Janelle who wasn't able to do the 20% but gave me a phone number and said I should call that number the next day for the 20%. Payment of product went out of my bank account and then went right back into my account. I received an email thanking me for my order on May 23rd at 8:28pm and then I received an email at 9:00 pm saying my order was cancelled. The next day I called and spoke with Monique who advised me the product was out of stock. When I said the payment come out and then went right back into my account, she advised I should contact my bank because they would've done that. Uh no ma'am. I called my bank to let them know I would be purchasing a large dollar item before I ever placed my order and I know what my online limit is without the bank checking to see if the purchase is legit. Monique advised me to visit one of their retailers to purchase. Evidentially this company trains reps to cancel an order if the discount is too much and to drive you to a retailer so you can pay full price. I don't need a shark vacuum or air purifier that bad. I will be sure to tell my friends and family not to bother trying to order a shark vacuum or anything from Shark. There are other brands that are just as good and I'm sure without all the hassle. Four out of the 5 ladies I spoke to were very nice, but only one was willing to try and assist. Monique was rude and hung up before I could ask any other questions. Extremely poor customer service.

Horrible customer service. There is no 5 year warranty. That’s a scam. My 1 year old shark apex zero m vacuum does not work on carpet it keeps tripping the brush rollers off. Do not buy this vacuum. There’s thousands of complaints about this issue.

My shark vacuum model UV850 decided to try to catch on fire and spit out burnt plastic from the brush on the bottom. I did not vacuum up anything that would cause this. I’ve called 3 times now and was sent to the high priority members or something and haven’t recieved a call back like I was suppose to in 2-4 hours. It’s been 2 days and now they are off for the weekend and I don’t have a vacuum. Thanks. I’ll make sure to share my experiences with everyone.

Floor unit goes out on the Shark.." Sorry that is not covered by warranty, but we can send you a new one for the cost of a new vacuum, 4 to 6 weeks, how would you like that billed", Sorry but NO, another brand is a much better option.
