Bought the shark vac and mop. Spent like 800.00 on this thing. It doesn't vacuum at all. It scoops the dirt and hair and other foreign matter into this very small cup. I have a rough surface hardwood floors throughout my home. It doesn't do a very good job SCOOPING the debris up. I also have a dog that produces a lot of hair. This vac will scoop a bit of hair up and fills this small cup up really fast but the unit doesn't sense it's full and just starts dragging the hair around and depositing it all over the house. Since the cup is full of hair hiw much dirt do yiu think is being picked up? After about 2/3rds done cleaning it goes back to station and dumps the contents and comezs back out and finishes. As far as the mopping feature it does mop but if you go behind it and wipe the floor with a paper towel you get a dirty paper towel. So I spent 800 bucks on a useless product which I can't return. Really suggest not buying.

My robot vacuum worked great, for a few months at least. I purchased the unit in March 2025. In August 2025, I made a warranty claim as the button that disengages the reservoir disintegrated, literally. I called Shark and they said that it is a KNOWN ISSUE, so they are going to send me a new “updated” version. Great! They said it would be delivered in a week or so. In about a week, I hadn’t received a confirmation email or shipping notification. Called back and they said I have to send my unit to them before they can send the new one. So I get a shipping label and ship that exact same day. Two weeks goes by and they have had my unit for almost two weeks, as it was a two day delivery to them. I called asking when I will be getting my new unit and they had no idea what was going on, but my order was on hold for review. The guy I talked to said he is pushing it through and I should receive a notification of shipping in 24-48 hours. I did and I received my unit in a few days, finally in September 2025. I have used the new unit twice since I received it, and guess what?! The button broke AGAIN and the release buttons on the mopping attachment broke too. And the reservoir gushes water out like crazy. So I called Shark again today as their product is obviously faulty. They said the mopping attachment isn’t under warranty, but they would go ahead and send me one as long as I pay shipping. I agreed, but what about the reservoir. They said they don’t have one in stock and probably won’t for the next month. So I have to wait until then before I can call back and request a new unit. I don’t want the same crappy unit. I want a newer model and I will even pay the difference. I just want them to make it right! I am so mad. I have always purchased several products from Shark and this is the only item I have ever had problems with. I absolutely hate talking to their customer service, not a single one of them have been helpful. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save the headache. Please.

I will NEVER buy another Shark product and I will actively recommend my friends to go elsewhere all together whenever home automation is discussed. I have never encountered a company with policies that disregard their customers as much as Shark. It is shocking that you think that you are able to get away with this and your customers will roll over. My machine's front bumper sensor stopped working 6 months out of warranty. The trouble shoot was 2 steps: While the vacuum is off, take the bumper off and check that all the springs move freely, Put the bumper back on and turn on the machine. Since the issue persists, you need a new vacuum. Even though there is no damage on the machine and you are 6 months out of a 1 year warranty, you need to buy a new vacuum. But youre in luck, if you pay 70% of a new machine, you can have a full 1 year warranty again. If you do that, in a year and a half, you can call back and have the same discussion again when your machine fails and pay another 70% to buy another new Shark machine. Pretty soon, we will provide you with a plaque that says "Most Valuable Customer" doesnt that sound nice to you? The rep tried to suggest that it was the dust in my house or the furniture that damaged the vacuum. I have a vacuum from Waze that somehow magically traverses the same toxic dust and treacherous furniture without issue. But he's probably right, it couldnt possibly be a bad make/model from Shark. Shark does not build their machines modularly - so instead of spending $15 to replace a sensor, you have to spend $300 for a new machine. The 30% discount is a joke and insultingly low. The rep on the phone dared to compare themselves to Apple because you cannot replace a battery. But the difference is that Apple doesnt hate their customers. If you didnt drop your phone and there is no water damage and it is a manufacturer issue, Apple will take care of the issue for their customer not just because they care about their customers, but because they are intelligent. They know that the cost to acquire a customer is higher than the cost to keep a customer. They know that not screwing their customer equals more lifetime revenue from that customer. Shark hasnt learned that lesson yet (CAC:LTV). Let me be very clear - as a 30 year old, I will never buy another shark product in my life. I dont treat my customers like this in my business because I like my customers and I actually want to make money in the long term. I dont build policies that screw my customers. Im simply not that short sighted.

Order a replace part with the warranty. They sent it out but it didn’t include all the parts. Called to get the rest of the parts. Got them in a timely manner. Put everything back together and now the replacement part. The motor doesn’t work. Called customer service and they didn’t want to help. Wouldn’t even video call to see the unit. Saying they don’t do that. Which they did originally to verify the product. Called a third time to try and speak to someone else. Same issue. Customer service sucks.

I had a Shark Professional which I absolutely loved. I was in a pinch and bought the Shark Navigator Lift-Away. It is the cheapest piece of plastic that I paid $200 for. It is the most useless vacuum I have ever owned. There are only 2 settings, carpet and hardwood flooring. You cannot control the suction so going over a bathroom carpet is out of the question. Just plain garbage, I am so disappointed!

I bought the carpet expert. You HAVE to use their cleaning solution. The water reservoir holds about 40 oz The dirty water is full when half full You cannot run back over to suck up more water. You cannot control it. My carpet is SOAKED. It is not user friendly. Prepare to spend half your time learning to use it. Then after it just blinks at you with error messages straight out of the box:two blinking lights: bad. Figure out what the hell two blinking lights mean. This is going back. I have never hated a carpet cleaner like this. It’s the worst one I ever bought and everyone is saying it’s the best somehow.

I purchased this shark shampooer striker cleaner because it looked wonderful online and it had a great guarantee. I used it the first time it worked OK however after that, it did not work well at all it was over $300. It did not work any better than my hundred dollar bissell or Hoover I expected way more from shark it was a waste of money.

Placed an order a month ago. Product never got shipped. When calling you wait hours for the line to be cut. Their customer service is nonexistent - sending emails gets you no reply. Have tried contacted for weeks now. Best piece of advice is to report them to the ACCC and place a chargeback if you’ve made the grave mistake of placing an order. Absolute scammers.

Returned an item within the 14 day window and it has almost been 5 weeks since I sent I back. I have not received a refund and the customer service team after multiple contact attempts assure me they are going to get onto it. Absolutely shocking service.

Placed order 1/6. Despite numerous phone calls and long waits of approx 20 mins and then calls drop out; non response to emails I have not received my product. 11/6 confirmed a refund but to date 23/6 no refund. Lodged a Fair Trade complaint which clearly states I am entitled to a refund with no end delivery date given Genetic responses by customer service. Feels like a scam it is so bad.

I Placed an order 5 days ago from Shark Clean AU and have had no response or any update on my order. I reached out via all the social channels, Email and even tried phoning just to hold for 18 minutes and get disconnected. I have made comments on their posts without any reply. Have not even spoken to a single person yet At this point I don't know what to do and I cannot even cancel my order so I can order through Amazon or another retailer. As far as I am concerned they stole my money Absolutely Shocking level of support. Shocking I mean none at all.

Appalling company! 35 minutes on a phone refusing to deal with me when my vacuum is under warranty because the account was my nan’s name, however it was my phone number, my email, my address!!!! For me to go online whilst on the phone 30 minutes into the phone call and change the name and they then dealt with me. Then when it comes to return, they do not state you have to pay £15 for the vaccum to be collected, or you require a printer!! Massively behind times, everything’s electronic these days. Not everyone has a printer. They’r absolutely useless as a company! Avoid. Three vacuum replacements i’ve had in 12 months due to it breaking

I feel compelled to write a good review after consulting reviews prior to my purchase and deciding to proceed despite the large number of negative reviews. I remember seeing reviews about difficult in-app setup and some stuff about it not tracking the house properly. Well my experience has been fantastic lol. I got the one that mops and vacuums and I guess I did come in with low expectations but jeez. It's worked exactly as advertised and set up legit took me like 1 minute of manual work. Then let the machine do a scan of my house (which it created a perfect outline of all rooms and doorways). Idk maybe I just got lucky with a good device but I personally would highly recommend this brand.

I bought a hair dryer from this store, but after a month of use I returned it, it dried out my hair. The refund was supposed to happen within 5-10 days. But a month has passed and nothing has been returned. During this time I contacted the support service 4 times, they said to just wait. How can such a huge company work like this? I am outraged. I will never buy anything from this store again.

Bad product, horrible customer service useless system. I wasted about 6 hrs with this company. You buy their products to make life easier, well in my case it made my life difficult. The product would not work properly, keet going in circles and after 1 or 2 minutes go back to dock. Customer service could not do anything about it, have to drive several miles to the store I bought it to returned it. I supposed was going to have a replacement for a discount price, but their system would not work so I could not pay for it, their answer? just call again and waste more time with this useless brand.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Shark when my vacuum stopped working just 12 months after purchase. Despite the product still being under warranty, getting support for a return was far from straightforward. My expectation was for a simple and efficient resolution, given Shark's reputation for customer service and product reliability. However, the process turned out to be anything but. Upon contacting Shark's customer service for assistance, I was met with a procedure that was not only time-consuming but also quite frustrating. Instead of facilitating a straightforward return or offering a cashback refund, I was required to undergo a multi-hour troubleshooting session. This involved numerous steps that seemed more like a delay tactic than a genuine attempt to solve my problem. The insistence on troubleshooting, which took several hours of my time without any resolution, was particularly disheartening. My vacuum was clearly defective, and I had hoped for a more understanding and customer-friendly approach from Shark. The experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer, as it seemed that their policy was more focused on avoiding returns rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the refusal to offer a cashback refund added insult to injury. It felt as though my legitimate concerns and the inconvenience I experienced were being dismissed. A company of Shark's stature should prioritize the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their customers above all. Overall, this experience has significantly impacted my view of Shark and my likelihood to purchase from them in the future. It's disappointing to see a company, known for its innovation and quality, fall short when it comes to supporting their customers. I hope Shark reevaluates its customer service and return policies to prevent similar experiences for others.
