I initially went in to purchase a Bissell, it is the vacuum that I currently have and know that it will work for the type of household I have. I have six rescue dogs and three cats and on occasion foster an extra dog. This means hair, and a lot of it. When looking around and taking some extra time to read some reviews on the vacuums that my store carried I decided to spend a little extra than what I would have spent on the Bissell I had initially set my mind on. I purchased the Shark Navigator Pro. It is light weight, so easy to move. The extra capacity and the ability to empty the dirt collector from the top is also pretty awesome. The machine is quiet, and was super easy to put together. Now, to the main reason I am upset and displeased with this product. The suction is amazing, the product does have an automatic shut off to prevent frying the motor, also great. However, this machine will clog so quickly and so easily it's ridiculous. I have not once ever had to stop vacuuming my living room with my 9 year Bissell and try to empty out hair that is not even tightly clogged. It is literally just loosely balled hair hanging out in the tube??? This then causes the Shark to turn off the prevent overheating. Awesome, I gave it a second change after taking nearly 45 minutes to unclog everything, to make sure that every orifice on the machine was clear. I tried the next day to vacuum where I had left off, in a less traveled room. Meaning no dogs go in this room, not to say there isn't dog hair, just a lot less that everywhere else. Within less then ten minutes it had shut itself off again!!!! So I again sat down trying to find out where it had clogged. After 30 minutes of removing all the hair, I had resolved myself to putting it back into the box and returning it. The one thing that I am most upset about is on their box and their site they compare this vacuum to Bissells pet vacuum. There is zero comparison, I will admit the lightness, great! The loudness, even better. But I will take a machine that can perform over one that is quiet and light.

Garbage product. Unashamed customer service. Avoid. We purchased our Shark Cordless directly from Shark. Our excitement turned into disappointment when we realised the brush head jammed quickly with hair. Also, the pickup rate was poor. We wrote to Shark customer service and their reply was, “removing hair from the brush roll is classed as general maintenance of your vacuum”. We spent more time removing hair than vacuuming and Shark considered this “general maintenance”!! They would not accept return, refund or exchange. Needless to say, we have stopped using the vacuum cleaner. They spend a lot of money on advertising. Beware. Don’t waste your money on them.

I received a shark duo clean vac for a gift. When I attempted to use it neither battery would charge. I called customer service and they told me i would need to ship them the whole unit and I would need to pay 20.00 for shipping costs! It's ridiculous that I should have to pay anything when the unit wasnt charging since I took it out of the box. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there were none available and someone would return my call in 24 to 48 hours. I would highly recommend not buying any products from this company. The quality of the product is lacking and the customer service isn't any better. It's clear to me this company doesn't care about their customers. If I would have purchased the vac myself I would have bought a DYSON vac. Regrettably my mom thought she was saving money to get me the shark instead. Since she lives in Florida and me in Wisconsin to return to point of purchase is not an option. So now I will throw this pos in the garbage and go get a vac from a reputable company that stands behind its products. This company basically stole money buy selling unusable products.

I bought Shark vacuum cleaner end of Nov.2018. in the begging of Dec. opened and tried to clean carpet.Power head went on red light and rubber pulley start emit burning smell. Called Shark service, talk to Rep. he said numerous time sorry and for $20.(New unit!!!!) offer to replace power head with new and more powerful. I paid by credit card money and he said in few days I will get bar code labels then I have to go to FED EX and send him defective head and in two weeks i will have new head. Two week passed , I got nothing. I call again asked where are labels again I got numerous sorry I will get them shortly. Week later Talk to Gabriel, again lot's of sorry, I asked him to stop telling me sorry and replace UNDER WARRANTY with additional $20 my unit ASAP. He informed me that we have to go with whole process FED EX again. I asked him to transfer my call to his supervisor, he put me on hold for 9 minutes and then informed that his supervisor too busy and he would definitely call me in next 24 hours. After 24 hours call again and talk to Sebastian, after multiple questions and sorry I asked him to go to supervisor and explain everything and let me talk to him. In a few minutes I was connected to Valentine, she told me she is supervisor ( I have doubts about it). She advised me that they have a very specific warranty on their products. The can replace my power head on the same one and no guaranty it will be better, and I have to pay them again $20 dollars +tax because they did not withdraw money yet on first time and then they will send me labels (who knows when) for FED EX and when they receive my defective unit I have to allow 4-6 week for manufacturing new unit. I told her this is what she said is different what was said by her employees and her published warranty does not said i have to pay for replacement parts and wait up to 4-5 month. I refused to accept this Another words they have no warranty on their products or keep wrong personal . Now I have useless unit SHARK ROCKET UV422CCO Alex

I placed an order with Shark on 12/30/2017. I did not receive any word on delivery. After a week I wrote Customer Care on 1/8/2018 and received the following; "We are currently running an inventory count. This is a mandatory procedure, we are making every effort to complete it as quickly as possible to resume shipping. We anticipate shipping your order the week of January 8th. Once the order ships, we will email you a Shipping confirmation email which will include the tracking information." )n 1/10/2018 I received an update saying my order was shipped by FedEx and should be delivered 1/16/2018. They even provided a tracking number. I used the tracking number and the package took over a week to get to my hometown. It sat in the FedEx warehouse for three days. Well the package did not get delivered on the 16th as promised. I wrote Customer Care again and received a message saying my package had been turned over to USPS. This is the most ridiculous process I have encountered. I have order other products from Shark and received them on time. I will be filling a BBB report.
