“My fist awning for my VW Camper. I wanted a an awning that didn't fully enclose the van. After a lot of trawling the internet and visiting camping shops. I found an article shared on twitter of Sheltapod. After a few days debating I purchased an Orange sheltapod. I have been so pleased with the ease of setup and use. It really is so practical and the envy of many when you pull up the dome to reveal an amazing awning with a view. I have had mine for 2 years now and only had to purchase a new upright pole as the plastic split. I recommend Sheltapod all the time for those who want a easy to use awning with drive away capability and the advantage of numerous attachment types.”

“Really impressed with the sheltapod. Used it both in UK and France and did the job perfectly (heavy torrential rain and blistering heat - sun blockout sheet is a must). The pegs could be a little more heavy duty but that is the trade off with weight. We will definitely upgrade our pegs. During our France camping trip, we did have quite a number of people come up and asked to have a look - hopefully they were impressed as we are.”

“Lightweight and relatively easy to set up, especially when you've done it a couple of times, and very versatile. Quality materials and all kit provided. Very sturdy when erected in all but the roughest weather. Ideal for a weekend away and touring around. Would recommend. Fast delivery too.”

“Excellent for weekends away, either as extra storage. As a sun shelter or for sleeping in. Stands up well in windy conditions, but would probably be a bit cold out of season. Lightweight and relatively easy to put up with two people.”

“I bought the shelter pod for my renault trafic with roof rails. I built a conversion in a crew van trafic so needed something to come off the back barn doors rather than the side. But this does both! With ease! Such a brilliant product and really well built!”

“I’ve had 2 Sheltapods because I sold my first one to a friend who admired it so much! It gave me the chance to by a different colour. I love it because it is so cleverly designed and I can easily pitch it all by myself. I love them and recommend them to everyone who sees and admires mine (and that’s lots of people).”

“We’ve used our SheltaPod in all sorts of weather this year - especially in heavy rain (it’s been that sort of year...) and it has proved invaluable. Getting the hang of putting it up quickly now - bit of a learning curve and we’ve yet to do it solo. Brilliantly flexible and the coolest awning on the campsite!”

“Absolutely love my SheltaPod it's a great bit of kit. It's lightweight, quick and simple to put up and down (even on your own), has a great selection of additions included and packs up smaller than my camping chair! Can't recommend enough. (Only one wish is that the bag came with a double zip)”
