This company constantly hassles its customers for reviews after they have used the service...very annoying!

SCAM!!! I booked furniture move for 5 items within my building. The driver was supposed to arrive between 4pm and 8pm. At about 4.10pm the Shift booking system suggested that the driver had arrived, but no one called, rang or appeared at reception for the move. I tried to contact the driver numerous times through Shift's contact system but couldn't get through. Waited for hours and hours.. no one. The next day I requested a refund and they told me they can't refund me because the driver had arrived, and sent me a picture of the building front door. The job was marked as complete though no one ever showed up! And they would refuse to refund me based on a driver actually taking a picture of my front door. Where's the evidence that the job was complete? Where's the evidence that anyone made any attempt to enter the building or reach me? COMPLETE SHAMELESS SCAM. This company needs to be investigated and shut down and I am sure to report it to the authorities.

InExpirience helpers used. pricing wasn't in accordance to what was discussed with myself. the subcontractor used, had totally different pricing than what was projected. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE from begging to end. Items lost / broken, the worst in both moving co. and movers.

I don’t understand Shift, twice they haven’t turned up To collect our IKEA returns as scheduled with ikea. Twice I have been informed by Ikea that they may have run out of time, space or electric if an electric vehicle. No communication. Two wasted days and not any communication at all. Plus we still have the unwanted furniture.

I’m not sure if the problem lies with IKEA or Shift but I spent many hours on the phone to both trying to organise a locker delivery / figure out what the problem was. I wish I had looked for reviews beforehand. IKEA are now delivering my order for free but I wish I had just driven to the store in the first place.

NEVER WORK FOR THEM, they don't pay the drivers, make an excuse, remove the work from your app saying you didn't do it, say there is a fee and you canceled services all to not pay you, if you want to work for free and get angry, SHIFT is the best place,

This company is laughable they will not last, there service is very poor, like very very poor. Not only do they not pay there driver's they are hard to contact unless you're using there app which is probably still under construction as it also doesn't work.. DO NOT USE. NO STAR RATING IS TO GOOD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

One of the worst experiences in my entire life. Took money twice and now difficult to get hold of. Not named driver that showed up over 1 hour late. I had a panic attack while moving with this company, due to lack of communication. Iam going to report this to the ombudsman.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY Firstly, their delivery drivers are not the named driver on your 'track my booking'. When i phoned my driver, it linked to a woman who was clearly contracting out the work. Leaving my helpless as to know what do when my driver ran over 3 hours late. This is just the start of it though. When the driver finally arrived, he intimidated my pregnant partner into directly bank transferring him money directly because he wasnt satisfied with how much shift were paying him for the job. If we didn't he was going to 'move our item back out onto the street'. I have tried to resolve this with customer service but with no assurances about being reimbursed for the money my partner was intimidated, or any intentions to investigate the driver in question. Oh and, the product arrived damaged.

They're absolutely woeful. Don't pay their drivers. Avoid at all costs. Won't be long before they've disappeared off the face of the earth.

Absolutely terrible service. The items I ordered were not in the designated locker due to their negligence. They promised a free delivery, but instead, they returned the items to IKEA, leaving me with no delivery. I strongly advise against using this service; it's better to either collect from the store or pay for delivery.

They never delivered my item. I could not speak to them to find out what was going on. The online function is completely useless. Do not use this company. They will take your money but will not deliver.

I booked a removal of a single item inside the city and it was automatically confirmed and charged for almost £70. The delivery man didn't turn up on the date, no notice was given, and they're now asking for a substantial fee for cancelling the service, if I apply for a refund. Sounds a bit like a proper scam. Not happy at all with the service, very unprofessional.

Don't pay £19 for IKEA delivery Upgrade. driver will inevitably say they tried to deliver. But they won't. They'll just return to depot and make it someone else's problem.

Short summary: If you use this company and the mover damages your property you will receive no compensation and the blame will be on YOU, the customer. I have booked a driver with van from this company to move some of my belongings including a piece of furniture. The driver was really late, but I can understand that. On arrival my furniture piece was severely damaged. I told them about it and how inacceptable it is for a moving company to destroy furniture items. What they did is try to blame ME in all sorts of rude and immaginative way. They told quite rudely me there is no proof that they damaged the item during the transport and that maybe I had damaged it before the transfer. Makes total sense, right?? You pay for a moving company to move your furniture, they destoy it and then the fault is yours. They told me to send them an email with a receipt of the furniture item to get a refund. I did and they told me again that the item might have been already damaged prior to transport so they were not going to refund me. I then send them photographic evidence taken the same day prior to the move showing the item in perfect conditions. Since they finished the available excuses the only thing they could do was ghosting me. I sent follow-up emails but they stopped replying. I didn't receive any refunds or apologies from them. I contacted the company's customer service as well who very helpfully simply told me to solve the issue with the driver. I told them the driver was not being collaborative and just kept blaming me for the damage so they told me to contact the police instead (!!). Extremely unprofessional company!!! I would highly suggest anyone not to book transports or movings with them if you don't want any issues or damages.

I ordered a delivery from IKEA to their locker for £10, then upgraded for £19 to home delivery. On the day of delivery, I got a confirmation SMS saying the driver was on their way. No driver arrived and I got no delivery and neither did I received it on any other day. The driver doesn't answer the phone, their online support doesn't reply, and their phone lines don't answer. IKEA told me that Shift got my order on the delivery date. They took my order and then completely disappeared - what is it if not pure stealing? AVOID AT ALL COST

I would give them 0 starts as well, but oh well. I have had a click and collect with them at one of their lockers. Pretty expensive order. I arrived there, middle of nowhere and the stacked shift lockers I was assigned with the codes and everything were empty. The quality of the lockers is pretty bad, you can push floors and ceilings and just peak a boo into other people's stuff - quite dangerous and unreliable. I called them as my retailer told me to discuss my missing order with SHIFT first. I go to the retailer's shop and talk to a shift representative sitting in the retailer's shop because otherwise, you can't reach a human to their online customer support. This representative was talking to customer support through an app and had someone call me 'asap', but I waited 2 hours. This person from shift customer support said he was checking with all drivers to see where my order was, cause the driver probably left it in the wrong locker. Never comes back to me , so i asked the representative to try to ping his colleague again - after 3 hours of waiting he tells me his colleague logged off so someone else will call. Now after another 2 h of waiting another guy called and this times, he promised he would arrange home delivery in the evening or a full refund and he will send a confirmation email after we closed the call. Never happened. Fast forward 3 days later and other emails i sent them ( as I didn't go back to the shop where the representative worked, and there is no way to talk to any human over the phone by just calling their 'customer support' ) they never came back to me- the order was lost - and I was very close to losing the money too as my order showed as collected as I opened the empty lockers. Please avoid click-and-collect with shift, it seems like they don't have manners, they're understaffed and horrible with anything customer support related. I wasted my whole Saturday then, with a lot of emotional distress, and they never came back with my things or the refund. After the main retailer understood what was happening Sunday they put in a refund for some of the things in the order.. Please avoid shift for your mental health.

Actually worth zero stars. The delivery failed to happen on the scheduled day, so they assured me it would arrive the next day. I'm nearing the end of the 2nd day of staying in and cancelling my plans. I've been unable to get any updates other than it is still at the Ikea warehouse waiting for the driver to collect it! There's nothing the phone operator can do to contact the 'assigned' driver. I'm not looking forward to a 3rd day of this. It's equally the fault of Ikea for using this useless company in the first place.

Was sent an email to say item was arriving. Shortly after item arrived, unfortunately I was out. I was unaware they had visited my home till I got an email from them saying my item had been delivered successfully. I looked high and low, asked my neighbours but couldn’t find it. I then got an email from Shift asking me to rate the delivery. No phone number or email to get in touch. I went to Homebase, from where I had bought the item and they had no contact details for the company. After half an hour of them trying to find the item it was discovered that Shift had returned it to them and wiped their hands of it. No opportunity for a re delivery. I brought it home myself with great help from Homebase who were great. Will never use Shift again.

Is it possible to give Shift 0 Stars??? Worst delivery company I have ever seen, I work in the distribution industry also. I’ve come across some bad company’s but this is by far the worse. Got “upgraded”to free home delivery as items couldn’t fit in locker, bad move from IKEA’s end. Shouldn’t be able to to select this services if items are not going to fit. My order got split into 2 Shift delivery’s/collections. Delivery should have happened, at writing this 2 days later still waiting. After been advised by IKEA customer service that Shift are “100%” sure delivery will be made! Told IKEA I won’t hold my breath. Collected the 2nd part of the order from the locker, items are damaged, items was shoved into the locker with no care at all. Shift Contact Number - 020 3479 3111 Let’s STOP Shift from existing!!
