I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“Paid a very fair price for a good fitting pair of Panama Jack boots. They were packaged well enough to withstand the shipment to California. The handwritten note of appreciation in the box was a nice touch and made me glad to do business with Shoes International.”

“Online shopping at Shoes International is very convenient, product range and service is excellent. I have purchased a couple orders, however, the last one it seems like I paid too much. If, I purchased it from another reliable online shop, apparently I will enjoy a further saving of 16.5%. I hope at Shoes International there is a kind of matching price policy? “I was quite surprised when they gave the option to cancel the order. I am quite glad that I did not accept that and asked them to keep the order in place. AND, then.... they ended up delivering it a month before they thought they were going to. Fantastic customer service. Am definitely going to use them again :-)”

“This was my first International purchase, and I didn't realize what a hassle it would be. I had to send a current bill with my name on it to verify the credit card, and it took over a month or longer to receive the shoes. Don't get me wrong. The shoes are terrific, but they were too big. The company graciously agreed to send a new pair if I returned the ones I had received, but I could only see problems with that--postage to England, wrong size still?? So, I opted to keep the shoes even though they don't fit. I have a pair of Romika boots and love them and thought when I told them what size they were, it would work. Unfortunately, it did not.”

Dear Mrs Lipperman Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our services. I am sorry to discover that you are unhappy with the service you have received. Having examined your order I see that the delay in despatched was caused by problems with the transactions on your card. At first the card transaction was declined by your bank. Subsequently our bank advised that we should obtain proof that the card was indeed being used by the owner. This is probably because it was the first time you had used it for an international purchase. If the banks see any behaviour which is out of the ordinary they will challenge it. I hope you will agree that this is good security protocol designed to stop fraudulent use of credit cards. I note that the boots did not fit you which of course is disappointing, but I am sure you will appreciate is not something we could have anticipated. I hope this incident will not discourage you from making further international orders - we send many shoes to the US and the mast majority of our US customers are very happy with the service. You may find that now your card has been used once for an international purchase that it is less problematic. Kind Regards Mike Small Shoes International

“The items were delivered as promised & at the time promised. However Hermes the delivery company failed to notify me by leaving a card of where they had put the item. I contacted Shoes International direct and the customer care department went to work straight away to resolve my issue. My item was found and I'm more than happy. Would definitely purchase from this company again as the price was competitive and the item was very good.”
