I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“Since the pair of shoes had to be ordered from Denmark, so it took more than a month to reach me. Luckily I didn't need them urgently. Overall it's satisfactory.”

Dear Mr Galea Thank you for your review and for leaving us 4 stars despite the delay with your delivery. Having looked at your order it does seem that your order took longer to arrive than we would usually expect. I suspect that this was at least partly due to the increase in volume of shipping in the run up to Christmas and the Christmas holidays. Though I appreciate it might not be much consolation, the parcel was delivered within our predicted 12 working days. “I really shopped around for the best price on Rohde slippers that I purchased. Shoes International offered the best price and with free pandp it was a no brainer! However, last year I used Shoes International for my annual purchase of Christmas slippers and my order arrived much sooner. A very good would have been given if the delivery had been that bit quicker.”

“Communication was a bit difficult with the time zones. Shipping was a little slow, but the shoes were received and were perfect. Overall I would recommend using them for hard to find English made shoes!”

With regard to your delivery, the order despatched on 18th December and arrived in the USA on 2nd January. With UK Christmas and New Year holidays, this is actually only 8 working days - and we usually advise up to 10 working days for US deliveries. We keep our shipping policies under constant review to ensure the most efficient service. Orders placed outside the Christmas period usually arrive much more quickly - and actually many of our US customers receive their orders within 7 working days. “Hi, Mike, I have been shopping from your website for a couple of dozen of shoes. And I will say your service is pretty good. And the goods are normally received pretty quick. So far I only had two issues. One was the Ecco black flat shoes about a year ago. When I received it, I found the some of glue was gone (for both side) and I have to send the pair to the local shop to repair it. I did complained this to you team and ask them to cross check to ensure the stock is in the right condition before dispatch. The 2nd time, is the recent order that I placed on 27th Dec 2013. I bought two boots. The brown boots (size 3.5) was over charged by 9-10 ponds from my memory. one of your team member did reply to me that when they disptached the stock, I would be charged at the correct price. While I just checked my credit card record yesterday, I was still charged at the wrong price (without the discount listed on your website). Overall, I am pretty happy with your services so far. “I bought some Gerry Weber boots from Shoes International. They were the most competitively priced website that I found. The shoes were a little late in arriving but this was not a problem as they were not urgently required. Boots were great, would purchase from this store in the future.”

However, we are always disappointed when we do not receive 5 stars from our customers! I checked your order and see that you ordered on Saturday 30th November. We advised you on Monday 2nd December to expect delivery within 3 to 4 working days and our tracking information shows that your shoes were delivered on Thursday 5th December. This is in fact only 4 working days from your original order date. We strive to be as efficient as we can with our deliveries - at busy times orders can sometimes be delayed at despatch - I think we perhaps could have got your order out on the Monday - but even then it might not have arrived until the Wednesday - only a day earlier. We hope you will understand that we have no courier collections over the weekend, and that our delivery service is free - rather than a premium next day service. If you require quicker deliver please do consider emailing us or contacting us via live chat .

“I recently purchased a few items online from Shoes International and must say that it was hard to follow up the matter with the staff, though I should thank Ms Nicola for her efforts to clarify the delay issue as the ordered items were not available in the store. “My boots arrived very quickly but they had some creasing that I was not happy about. I sent the boots back directly and a new pair (perfect) arrived very promptly. Well done for customer service. I would use this company again and I am very pleased with the quality of the boots.”

“I bought a pair of Derri Boots . The shoe size was prefect but the leg size was so tight that they had to be cut so I could wear them,my legs are quite slim and I have been wearing Derri boots for some 40 years. This is not your fault but the manufacturer.”

“No indication of who the carrier was. I sent it to an Australia post locker box so if Dhl didn't have an arrangement with Aussie post, it could have been an issue. The Aussie post locker box solution is brilliant and it was great that I could consign the parcel to this address.”
